I recently moved to Suffolk County, New York from the Upper West Side of Manhattan after closing my small business in the city. Long Island has been an amazing change for us and we truly love being here. Animals have always been a huge part of my life and have shaped my career for more than two decades. Now that I work from home, I find myself really missing the daily connection with pets. I am certified in pet grooming and have experience in animal behavior as well as light training. I love teaching dogs fun tricks like giving kisses and building trust with them through patience and consistency. I am comfortable giving oral medications only. Pet care fits into my routine very naturally because I work from home and have a flexible schedule. I am available most weekdays and weekends, especially afternoons and evenings. Since I am home often, I can provide consistent attention, walks, feeding schedules, and check ins without rushing. I live in a small four bedroom home in Coram with a backyard where dogs can safely get fresh air and supervised outdoor time. Inside the home, pets are never left unattended for long periods and I always follow the owner’s instructions carefully. I have over twenty years of experience working with animals, including veterinary office experience, so I am very observant of behavior changes and health concerns. I also have one senior toothless small house dog who is gentle and used to other pets, but I always introduce animals slowly and respectfully based on their comfort level.

About: I've always been such a huge animal lover and always took care of my own cats, dogs, guinea pigs and birds. I used to watch my family members pets when they would go away and feed them per special instructions and stayed with them as long as I could so they were never lonely. About: Being around animals and making them feel happy is the best feeling to have. I have 2 dogs and cat, and they always manage to make my day. I have plenty of great places to adventure with your companion while you are busy! I have school online which makes me completely free! I am studying and practicing things that make me happy with my free time, (which there is plenty of) So, your dog/ cat will fit into my schedule perfectly! I live very close to many dog-friendly parks, and enjoy hiking, especially with a four-legged companion. I will take any opportunity to go on a long walk! It would be nice to take a dog with me sometime. I also bake, and have made dog treats for my Boston Terrier at home who might love peanut butter more than me... I'd love to share my hobbies with your pets!

About: Animals have always been an important part of my life. Growing up, I lived with two tuxedo cats who completely stole my heart. As I got older, I took on many of their daily care responsibilities, including feeding them, cleaning their litter boxes, playing with them, and making sure they felt loved and comfortable. Today, my wife and I are proud pet parents to two black cats. In addition to caring for cats, I have experience watching a toy poodle puppy under one year old. We start dog care at 7AM, feeding/potties, rest for 30 mins, back out for potties, pics and playtime for 30 mins, hydrate,30 mins later potty, & rotating sleep to play throughout day every 3.5 hrs Puppies and geriatrics 15 mins/ every 2 hrs We love hosting pets and consider it a family business. My children love it and we respect the opportunity and strive to gain relationships with local community members. I am a homeowner with a full femce and a double gate system. I rotate packs or 1:1 for playtime/potty time. I have 2 sweet medium sized dogs. Both are crate trained and excellent demeanors. I work from home only caring for the dogs. There are no other jobs to interfere. My children are 10 & 11 years old, are homeschooled, & young employees that love pups. I have crates, bowls, fencing and great knowledge of a canine decompression activities, integrative play specialist, dog trainer, & and a pup host with 5 years full time experience.
