I recently moved to Suffolk County, New York from the Upper West Side of Manhattan after closing my small business in the city. Long Island has been an amazing change for us and we truly love being here. Animals have always been a huge part of my life and have shaped my career for more than two decades. Now that I work from home, I find myself really missing the daily connection with pets. I am certified in pet grooming and have experience in animal behavior as well as light training. About: I've always been an animal lover and grew up in Suffolk county caring dogs, chickens, quail and rodents! I'm the go-to pet care person for my friends and family and would love the opportunity to care for your pets! I'm a former volunteer of Save-A-Pet in Port Jeff Station where I cared for dozens of cats every weekend. I have experience with animals of all ages. I am comfortable dispensing medication for aging or ill pets. I've also cared for puppies and have even assisted in delivering a litter of goldendoodles! About: I have been a dog walker for my neighbor for 5 years. I have experienced in pet sitting small and big dogs, as well as puppies and senior dogs. In my free time I walk senior dogs from a shelter. Over these years and with all my experiences, I have learned dog expressions and warning signs which help me to prevent dogs from any triggering behavior. I’m am a college student and work a weekend job. During the week after classes I have free time to dog walk. I keep my calendar updated regularly for any days where I might not be available throughout the week. I live in an apartment, which is why I choose only small to medium sized dogs to board. I have a large yard that is fenced except for the driveway entrance, for your pets safety I only take dogs into the yard with a leash and as always constant supervision.
