Bella was a pleasure to work with. She stays in touch leading up to the visit and afterward. She also did a great job of calming one of our more skittish kitties during our interview. We love the picture updates from the visit - thank you for those. Will definitely book again!

Christine was fabulous. She was conscientious and took great care of our cat. She is the first cat sitter we’ve booked (of 2-3 Rover sitters) who has actually come at exactly the time we asked her, consistently. Beyond that, when our travel plans had to change because of airline problems, Christine kindly agreed to extend the booking - even though it was the holidays and I’m sure she had other obligations.

About: I’ve taken care of all kinds of dogs (and other animals!) for many years. Family, friends, and co-workers have relied on me to watch and care for their pets whether it’s walking, feeding, playing, even taking them to the vet. I’ve taken care of dogs of all sizes and ages, from senior bull mastiffs to pugs under a year old. There is no dog too big or too small because they’re all perfect to me. I’ve also found lost dogs and helped them return to their owners! I have experience caring for anxious dogs, blind dogs, deaf dogs, dogs with mobility issues, and dogs that require medication. Other animals I’ve taken care of include: cats, parrots, guinea pigs, fish, rabbits, and hamsters. Pets are so precious, they’re such an important source of joy in their family’s lives so it’s such a privilege to be trusted with their care!! :) Pet sitting is currently my full time job, so I have lots of time to give your animals the special care and attention they deserve! I have a fenced in yard which is perfect for dogs to run around in. I also have a car so I’m able to take dogs to the dog park or dog beaches nearby (if that’s something they would enjoy). At a client’s house I still follow any guidance/schedule given to me. In between I typically take the dog’s lead. I’m at their house so it’s important to me that I respect their space (and the clients above all)! I like to take their cues to make sure that their sense of routine isn’t disrupted.

About: I’ve been caring for dogs for over five years and truly love getting to know each pet’s unique personality. Friends, family, and neighbors have trusted me to walk, feed, bathe, play with, and care for their dogs while they’re away. I’m currently a nursing student, and the compassion, responsibility, and attention to detail that I’m developing in healthcare carry over into the way I care for animals. I treat every pet as if they were my own and always prioritize their safety, comfort, and happiness. Whether your dog is energetic and loves long walks or prefers quiet cuddle time, I’ll make sure they feel safe, loved, and well cared for. I’ll also send regular photo updates so you can have peace of mind while you’re away. I’m currently a nursing student with a flexible schedule, which allows me to dedicate plenty of time to caring for pets. Because my classes vary, I’m able to provide lots of attention, exercise, playtime, and companionship. Your pet will never feel like they’re just another booking—they’ll receive the love and care they deserve. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I have a securely fenced yard and one friendly, well-socialized dog who enjoys meeting new friends. If your dog prefers their own space, I can easily crate them if requested or keep them separated when needed. I offer care in both my home and yours—whatever makes you and your pet feel most comfortable. I’ll follow your pet’s routine closely to help them feel at home and reduce any stress while you’re away.

We had a short notice need for a sitter for “the girls”, Peaches & Reagan, and Emma and Trent responded promptly and were able to accommodate our schedule. It is so nice being able to count on someone and have “the girls” get so excited when they see them. Reagan for the extra attention and Peaches for an opportunity to get treats. LOL Dont hesitate if you need someone to watch your fur babies. They will be safe and and well taken care of. Thanks again Emma & Trent!

About: Animals have always been a big part of my life, and I’ve been helping care for other families’ pets since I was 10 years old. When you hire me, you can be confident that I will personally be the one caring for your pet(s). I do not outsource care and truly enjoy spending time with the animals in my care. I look forward to meeting you and giving your pet(s) the attention and care they deserve❤️🐶🐱🐢🐠🐭 Pet care fits naturally into my daily routines. I work as a childcare professional with a flexible rotating schedule. I typically work 3 shifts per week (8am-4pm, 4pm-12am, 12am-8am) and I receive my schedule two weeks in advance, allowing me to plan pet visits and walks easily for clients who book at least a week ahead. However, clients are always welcome to reach out for last-minute bookings- I/s happy to help when my schedule allows it😎🐶 I live in the middle of a quite cul-de-sac neighborhood. It is a safe serene street that would allow me to social your dog with the friendly neighbors and their pets as well. I live in a two story house with a fenced in backyard and a big front lawn that i play with my dogs in- Hopefully I can share the same fun with your pets too! There is very little traffic that comes through and cars always drive very slowly due to the high volume families with children and pets. I live with my wife, 7 year old son, and my two parents who have two dogs of their own. We are all life long pet owners and treat them the same as any person who lives here........who am i kidding, our pets are treated like royalty in this household and they know it!🤣🐶🐱🐰🐭❤️

About: Being around animals and making them feel happy is the best feeling to have. I have 2 dogs and cat, and they always manage to make my day. I have plenty of great places to adventure with your companion while you are busy! I have school online which makes me completely free! I am studying and practicing things that make me happy with my free time, (which there is plenty of) So, your dog/ cat will fit into my schedule perfectly! I live very close to many dog-friendly parks, and enjoy hiking, especially with a four-legged companion. I will take any opportunity to go on a long walk! It would be nice to take a dog with me sometime. I also bake, and have made dog treats for my Boston Terrier at home who might love peanut butter more than me... I'd love to share my hobbies with your pets!

About: I've always been such a huge animal lover and always took care of my own cats, dogs, guinea pigs and birds. I used to watch my family members pets when they would go away and feed them per special instructions and stayed with them as long as I could so they were never lonely. I work full time now but I make my own schedule! I'll be able to be reliable and work around the needs of anyone's babies! In my clients home I always have respect and take care of not only the pets but the home and property when I'm there always.

About: I have hands-on experience working with animals through both therapy dog work and my previous experience as an assistant to a veterinary technician. This has given me a strong understanding of animal behavior, health, and how to handle pets with care, patience, and confidence. I’m comfortable supporting pets with different needs and always focus on making them feel safe, calm, and well cared for. Working from home allows me to be a consistent, calming presence for your pet throughout the day whether at my home or yours. I truly enjoy spending that time with them—whether it’s going on walks, giving them attention, or just being nearby so they don’t feel alone. I know every pet is different, so I follow their lead and make sure they feel comfortable and secure, whether they’re full of energy or prefer a more relaxed, quiet routine. I keep your pet’s routine consistent while providing attentive care, companionship, and a calm presence. Whether it’s walks, playtime, or quiet time, I adapt to their needs and make sure they feel safe and comfortable while you’re away. I am also a photographer which could lead to getting some great photos while you are away!

As of July 2026, there are 3,214 sitters on Rover offering Dog Sitting across Coram. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

A pet sitter can provide focused care sessions, help your pet’s routine stay on track, or keep you updated on your pet’s mood and energy levels.

Whether you’re at the office for the day or traveling for a few nights, a pet sitter can offer potty breaks during a Coram stroll, cleaning the litter box, or making sure your pet has on-time food or water refills. For daytime services like walking and drop-ins, you can also request sitters to send a report card with every visit.

Tip: You can discuss your specific arrangements with a pet sitter on Rover to what fits you, your pet, and your sitter’s needs. To find what their special skills are, look at the "Skills" and "Pet care experience" sections on their profile.

Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Coram choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.

To find sitters in Coram with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Coram. On Rover:

  • 92% of sitters can help with special care needs
  • 95% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 95% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
