I've always loved animals and grew up surrounded by pets. My parents bred Pomeranians, and as a teen I had a Sheltie who I absolutely adored. Over the years, I’ve cared for friends’, coworkers’, and even my boss’s pets while they were away, making sure they stayed on schedule with meals, exercise, and attention. Last year, I took a sabbatical during which I traveled the country largely through pet sitting. During that experience, I cared for a wide variety of pets—from young, energetic pets to seniors, and from energetic Border Collies and Newfiedoodles to independent outdoor Calico cats and affectionate indoor Russian Blues. I loved and cared for each of them as if they were my own. I’m attentive to established routines and enjoy getting to know each pet’s unique personality and needs. I understand how important peace of mind is while you’re away, so I’m always happy to provide regular updates and photos. My goal is to make sure your pet feels safe, comfortable, well cared for, and loved while you’re away. Since I work full time (8:00-4:30), my availability is primarily evenings (5pm onwards) and weekends for dog walks and drop-ins. I can also assist with morning cat feedings or drop-ins (6-7:30am) on my way to work when timing and location allow. I’m open to weekend house sitting with advance notice and aim to provide consistent, reliable care for every pet. “From the moment we dropped Nessa off until the time we picked her up, we were pleasantly surprised by how completely at home she felt with Marla. Normally, Nessa is very apprehensive when meeting new people, new animals, or even visiting a new place. But from the moment Marla opened the door, our normally shy and hesitant little girl ran right into the house to greet Marla and all of her pets. To say my husband and I were shocked would be an understatement! Watching Nessa happily run off to play filled this mom and dad with so much joy. While we were attending our niece’s wedding, we kept checking our phones, fully expecting a call or text saying Nessa was crying or looking for us. That message never came—because she was apparently having the time of her life! When we returned to pick her up, Nessa was excited to show us all of her new friends. It was obvious she had been well cared for and truly enjoyed her stay. We could tell that Marla treated Nessa as if she were one of her own, and there is no greater compliment we could give. We only wish Marla lived in Connecticut instead of New York. Finding someone who genuinely loves and cares for your pet as though they were part of their own family is incredibly rare, and we would trust her with Nessa again in a heartbeat.”

About: I’ve taken care of all kinds of dogs (and other animals!) for many years. Family, friends, and co-workers have relied on me to watch and care for their pets whether it’s walking, feeding, playing, even taking them to the vet. I’ve taken care of dogs of all sizes and ages, from senior bull mastiffs to pugs under a year old. There is no dog too big or too small because they’re all perfect to me. I’ve also found lost dogs and helped them return to their owners! I have experience caring for anxious dogs, blind dogs, deaf dogs, dogs with mobility issues, and dogs that require medication. Other animals I’ve taken care of include: cats, parrots, guinea pigs, fish, rabbits, and hamsters. Pets are so precious, they’re such an important source of joy in their family’s lives so it’s such a privilege to be trusted with their care!! :) Pet sitting is currently my full time job, so I have lots of time to give your animals the special care and attention they deserve! I have a fenced in yard which is perfect for dogs to run around in. I also have a car so I’m able to take dogs to the dog park or dog beaches nearby (if that’s something they would enjoy). At a client’s house I still follow any guidance/schedule given to me. In between I typically take the dog’s lead. I’m at their house so it’s important to me that I respect their space (and the clients above all)! I like to take their cues to make sure that their sense of routine isn’t disrupted.

About: I AM BACK !! And I AM SO HAPPY TO BE BACK! NOW My husband, Carlos and I both have a pure love for animals as we have been around them and cared for them our whole life. Our love of 10years, Cali, passed away in 2022. Since then we have two beautiful girls, Winnie and Akira. They are amazing dog and get along well with other animals. They are both high energy, full of spunkiness and love! I have taken care of dogs as small as a Pomeranian to as big as a Pit Bull. I have taken care of dogs with minor injuries (gash that needed to be cared for while the owners where away - prior injury to their stay w me) and I am not afraid to administer any oral medications. We live at a private condo community with lots of walking areas. We have a nice size yard with plenty of room to chill. The yard is also fully fenced. Please note for the Doggy Day Care all dogs must be dropped off by 8:00am. We look forward to speaking with you and at the opportunity to care for your furry family member!! I have to keep to a schedule and routine because of my own two dogs routines. Boarding: I am mostly available on the weekends from Friday evening 7pm until Sunday evening or Monday morning before 8am. We live in a private condominium so dogs will need to be walked on a leash at all times. We have plenty of outdoor space to walk them safely plus a fully fence yard.

About: I have grown up with different dogs my entire life. My best friend was a Rottweiler named Sampson and I had him from a pup. I create trained him as well as click trained him to become a good citizen. I have experience with large breeds as well as small. I have cared my many fur babies in this own homes, keeping them happy with conversation, brushing, play time and long walks. I feel that all breeds deserve love regardless of the negativity they may get from others who don't understand the breed. I have owned pitbulls and have found them to be loyal and loving and don't judge any animal. I have experience training my own dogs as well as freinds and family. I'm currently working PT as a home health aid and have flexibility and free time Tuesday through Saturday to walk and hangout with your beloved fur baby. I would come to your home and watch your dog, take them for a walk, snuggle, feed, play, brush and engage them with conversation and provide them love and support.
About: For the majority of my life, I have always had a dog in my possession! So I have always known how far my love and care for animals goes. I have watched my family’s dogs when they went on vacation and I’ve also walked a couple of dogs in my neighborhood. Now, my love and care for animals goes beyond measure. They are family, and should be treated as such! Which is why I plan on making sure I would treat your pets the same way you would if you were there! I will always plan to go above and beyond for your pets. I am not someone who does the bare minimum when it comes to taking care of animals. I love what I do and I have the passion for it. I currently have 2 jobs, so I would just have to work with my schedule on what I can do! But it is something I am more than happy to do! I would make sure I was there with them for as long as you need, if not more! Plus I wouldn’t mind help getting a couple house things done while there if you needed. I am a very overprotective pet owner and I felt 100% comfortable having Patrick and Karyn watch them. They walked them every day on beautiful walks , were loving and gave them treats and made them feel like one of their own fur babies, Karyn even made a Beef stew! and added that to their regular food !
