About: I am a professional dog walker and pet sitter with over twenty years of hands on experience caring for animals. I recently moved to Suffolk County, New York from the Upper West Side of Manhattan after closing my small business in the city. Long Island has been an amazing change for us and we truly love being here. Animals have always been a huge part of my life and have shaped my career for more than two decades. Now that I work from home, I find myself really missing the daily connection with pets. I am certified in pet grooming and have experience in animal behavior as well as light training. I love teaching dogs fun tricks like giving kisses and building trust with them through patience and consistency. I also have experience working as a veterinary technician and receptionist, which has given me a strong understanding of animal health and communication with pet owners. About My Home We live in a small four bedroom house in Coram with a backyard that offers space for fresh air and outdoor time. My Experience Administering Medication Yes. I am comfortable giving oral medications only. Pet care fits into my routine very naturally because I work from home and have a flexible schedule. I am available most weekdays and weekends, especially afternoons and evenings. Since I am home often, I can provide consistent attention, walks, feeding schedules, and check ins without rushing. I live in a small four bedroom home in Coram with a backyard where dogs can safely get fresh air and supervised outdoor time. Inside the home, pets are never left unattended for long periods and I always follow the owner’s instructions carefully. About: Hi there! My name is Kevin and I’ve been dog walking and dog sitting for over 10 years. In my experience pet sitting, I would take the dogs on long walks, play fetch, go to a park or even on runs depending on how active the dog is. I would also go over for drop in feedings and bathroom breaks. I’ve been told plenty of times how I must be a dog whisperer since all dogs would gravitate towards me and love me! I am a flight attendant and my schedule will vary monthly but I tend to have mostly similar days & times off with my seniority. I am flexible job permitting and will always find time throughout my schedule to stay active which will be perfect for your dog to accompany on walks. I have experience with small, medium and large dogs. I always do whatever the pet parents request before leaving (leave dog in designated area of the house, wipe feet before entering back into the house, etc.)

Walking, exercising, basic grooming, training, I do it all! When your pet is with me, I will care for him/her as if they are my own. He is extremely friendly and if you are booking for your dog, he would love to tag along for a puppy play date (which is excellent for socialization and helps ease separation anxiety). Please let me know if you would like to book Oaklin as well for your dog's drop-in visit or walk. I always bring Oaklin on overnights with me, as I am a single dog mom myself. From June 28-August 8th I have open availability! Currently, I am a teacher, so I'm only available 5 PM or later on weekdays, and occasionally on weekends until June 28th. . About: I have taken care of dogs and cats for over 14 years. I have been a dog sitter at peoples homes. Friends and family have relied on me to walk, feed and if needed bathe them. If they need any medications just let me know. I have time in the middle of the day and some weekends to take care of dogs and cats. I also can fit dog walking and to let them out in the backyard. About: Throughout my life, we've always had dogs in the house and, as I’ve gotten older, there was definitely a period where it seemed more like a zoo than a human household with all of our rescues. When I was in high school, I fell in love with training dogs and really never wanted to do anything else. Over the years, I’ve made every effort to immerse myself in the field through work at Petco and multiple daycares, as a volunteer at Kent Animal Shelter, as a student with the Animal Behavior College, becoming a CPDT, opening my own business, and tentatively dipping my toes into the grooming aspect of it all as well. Hopefully, as time goes on, I can continue to pursue my dog training career as a multifaceted professional and expand more fully into my own business. I run my own multifaceted pet services business offering a variety of options from training and boarding to walking and photography, so my whole day circulates around pet-related bookings and activities. I live on half an acre of land with a fully fenced in yard, separate attached dog run, and plenty of space to run! We do a perimeter check twice daily to make sure the fencing is secure and the grounds are meeting our standards of cleanliness. I can easily crate dogs if that’s what their paw-rents request, but also have no problem allowing them to roam through the house if that’s what they’re accustomed to. I do have a few pups of my own, but they’re the friendliest guys you’ll ever meet — one is actually a quadriplegic! Everyone is in their own space while eating and stay separated for about an hour following meals to allow food to digest. Let me know if there are any other accommodations your pet needs!
