I recently moved to Suffolk County, New York from the Upper West Side of Manhattan after closing my small business in the city. Long Island has been an amazing change for us and we truly love being here. Animals have always been a huge part of my life and have shaped my career for more than two decades. Now that I work from home, I find myself really missing the daily connection with pets. I am certified in pet grooming and have experience in animal behavior as well as light training. I love teaching dogs fun tricks like giving kisses and building trust with them through patience and consistency. I am comfortable giving oral medications only. Pet care fits into my routine very naturally because I work from home and have a flexible schedule. I am available most weekdays and weekends, especially afternoons and evenings. Since I am home often, I can provide consistent attention, walks, feeding schedules, and check ins without rushing. I live in a small four bedroom home in Coram with a backyard where dogs can safely get fresh air and supervised outdoor time. Inside the home, pets are never left unattended for long periods and I always follow the owner’s instructions carefully. I also have one senior toothless small house dog who is gentle and used to other pets, but I always introduce animals slowly and respectfully based on their comfort level.

About: I am very used to large dogs since I have two at home. I know how to clean animals ears and clip nails. I also know how to administer oral medication. Im currently going to college to become a veterinarian so im looking for a little gig where i can take care of animals. I also have a part time job but still have plenty of free time to take care of some adorable caring animals. I sadly can not bring pets into my home but will gladly take care of them at yours. About: Hi there! My name is Kevin and I’ve been dog walking and dog sitting for over 10 years. In my experience pet sitting, I would take the dogs on long walks, play fetch, go to a park or even on runs depending on how active the dog is. I would also go over for drop in feedings and bathroom breaks. I’ve been told plenty of times how I must be a dog whisperer since all dogs would gravitate towards me and love me! I am a flight attendant and my schedule will vary monthly but I tend to have mostly similar days & times off with my seniority. I am flexible job permitting and will always find time throughout my schedule to stay active which will be perfect for your dog to accompany on walks. I have experience with small, medium and large dogs. I always do whatever the pet parents request before leaving (leave dog in designated area of the house, wipe feet before entering back into the house, etc.)

About: Throughout almost my whole life I’ve been taking care of a bunch of different types of animals. I took care of a Goat once IN MY APARTMENT. HAHAHA I had her in the balcony with a lot of plants so she could eat. But then we had to let her go as she grew up because there wasn’t a lot of room in the apartment for her. Then I took care of my 4 dogs, Dory, Kylie, Kevin and Max. They were my reason to be. I don’t have them anymore, but I will always remember them in my heart. ❤️‍🩹 I have now a little cutie cat, called Coffey. She’s like my child, I love her with my life. I’m in college right now, so I would like to have this job as a part time. And the only reason I’m taking it as a job is because I need to pay college if not I would have been doing it for free. I like to see what are the needs of the pet first. I like to check if there’s any dietary restrictions, any medication, any allergy or any other personal indication for the pet. And after I have that covered I do whatever the owner allows me to do like playing with them in the yard.

About: I love making food and treats for them. I enjoy interacting with all pets to see their personalities. I love to see them happy and playful. I'm currently working part-time on an open schedule, but I have plenty of time to tend to the pets and play with them. Both duties will not overlap. I have a fenced in yard for them to play around in and a little pool filled with balls and there's toys to play with

About: I grew up in a house with dogs. We always had at least two and sometimes three dogs. We bred corgis and standard poodles and I'm comfortable with dogs of all sizes and ages. I also own three cats and take care of an outdoor feral. I'm comfortable medicating dogs, cats, and even reptiles. (I can feed reptiles as well, I'm not worried about bugs :) I currently work from home so I'm free most afternoons and evenings and would love to use some of the spare time I have to take care of dogs and cats. I have experience caring for pets in their home and would be happy to let your dog out in the backyard for playtime or take them on a walk around the block. If you need them crated after, I can do that too.

About: Throughout my life, we've always had dogs in the house and, as I’ve gotten older, there was definitely a period where it seemed more like a zoo than a human household with all of our rescues. When I was in high school, I fell in love with training dogs and really never wanted to do anything else. Over the years, I’ve made every effort to immerse myself in the field through work at Petco and multiple daycares, as a volunteer at Kent Animal Shelter, as a student with the Animal Behavior College, becoming a CPDT, opening my own business, and tentatively dipping my toes into the grooming aspect of it all as well. Hopefully, as time goes on, I can continue to pursue my dog training career as a multifaceted professional and expand more fully into my own business. I run my own multifaceted pet services business offering a variety of options from training and boarding to walking and photography, so my whole day circulates around pet-related bookings and activities. I live on half an acre of land with a fully fenced in yard, separate attached dog run, and plenty of space to run! We do a perimeter check twice daily to make sure the fencing is secure and the grounds are meeting our standards of cleanliness. I can easily crate dogs if that’s what their paw-rents request, but also have no problem allowing them to roam through the house if that’s what they’re accustomed to. I do have a few pups of my own, but they’re the friendliest guys you’ll ever meet — one is actually a quadriplegic! Everyone is in their own space while eating and stay separated for about an hour following meals to allow food to digest. Let me know if there are any other accommodations your pet needs!

About: I have had dogs of different kinds throughout my whole life. Two rhodesian-ridgebacks, one pit bull, and a jack russel. In addition to this I have dog sat for close friends that have a Golden Doodle, A yorkshire terrier and even cats! I am prepared to deal with pet accidents, special instructions, walks, baths, feeding, etc. I am home from college for break until January 10th! I can work any day and I love all animals! I take care of my own dog every day so I am used to anything they throw at us! I got my own dog at 14 years old and am now almost 21. In high school, I woke two hours before I needed to be up for school and took my dog on a walk, then he was fed and taken out again before I left. In the afternoon after School I took my own dog and my family dog out for a walk while my mom was working from home. I bathe my dog on my own and pay for whatever he needs out of pocket. If I were to care for a dog in someone else’s home I would play with the dog and be extra conscious of the environment. Also I will take them on walks or runs and feed them when needed!! In the past when I have watched a friend’s dog they usually had instructions and times for me to go. I would do what they asked and stay a little longer to give them some company.

About: I had a dog when I was younger and currently have a 4 year old Westie and an 8 month old Aussichon. I have been working at a doggy daycare for over 9 months. So I have experience with dozens, if not hundreds, of all kinds of Dogs. I have worked with trainers and researched extensively on different training methods for my dogs. I am at home most of the time and can dedicate my time to your fur baby with play and fun, and so much more! Currently, I work Thursday through Saturday at a doggy daycare but can arrange to bring your dog with me to work if you want (you'd have to pay the company's daycare price). I will give you a discount if you decide you want me to take your doggo with me. I have 2 dogs to keep your fur baby company and can crate if needed. I also have ADT Security System in my house. I could send video of footage of your pup and can take them to the park for an extra fun time.

We don't take vacations Long Island is our vacation in the summer, walks, rides to the beach out in our beautiful nature surroundings is where you can find us! We have a fenced yard, pool, lovely sunroom. We live in an area with wooded trails and a 1.5 mile residential loop that we walk daily.
