“Diana is the best to care for my dog! Always keeps me updated and send pics of her and her family showing my dog so much love! She cares for him, like he’s her own. Would use her every time!”

“Coco had a great first stay with Cindy and her sweet family and dog Pepper. Cindy kept us up-to-date with how the stay was going by sending many photos during Coco’s stay. She was also very accommodating in terms of last-minute changes to the drop off and pick up times.”

“I have used John in the past and I needed him again for my Moses a 5 year old cavalier King Charles spaniel. I recently moved and am in between places. I had Moses neutered. John came with me to the vet to drop off and pick up and follow up visit, he is an amazing care taker and animal lover. I trust John completely and would use him again and I highly recommend him!!”

“Maria was amazing! From day 1, she was attentive and had open communication with us about Stella and Hunters' progress. She facilitated a comfortable and fun environment, and we were pleased with the overall experience. I would highly recommend Maria and would work with her in the future”

About: I’ve had dogs my entire life, both small and big! I absolutely love furry friends and have one of my own. I have a small, older cockapoo named Riley and I’ve taken care of him since he was a puppy and I was in 8th grade - I actually had to pitch an entire care plan to let my mom allow me to have him! I work entirely from home and have a calm, quiet environment. I work entirely from home and have breaks throughout the day where I’d be able to play with your furry friend! I work both during the day and overnight, and will be able to tend to your dogs needs hourly at the very least! I have a fenced yard and a small cockapoo who is calm and friendly. I have a small crate as well if that is supportive for your pup! My home is calm and stress-free. You can count on regular updates, photos, and honest communication while your pup is in my care!
“This is the second time my dog has stayed with Antonia, and she absolutely loves it there! I always get lots of pictures and updates, and I know she’s being well cared for. Every time I pick her up, she never wants to leave. Highly recommend! 🐾❤️”

“Jinay was awesome and her family couldn’t have been sweeter and more welcoming to Zeke. She was flexible and communicative and kept me feeling reassured that he was in the best hands while I was away. Highly recommend!”

“Tara S and her family are amazing ?. They took such good care of my Louie - including washing all of his bedding the day I came to get him. She has two good sized good natured dogs that kept him busy the entire time we were gone. I highly recommend her if you have a good natured medium sized dog they likes companionship & playtime. My Louie is about 90 lbs just so you have an idea of what I mean by good sized dog. We will absolutely use them again ?”

“Cassandra has watched my dog, Rosie, several times now over the past few years and I count myself lucky to have found her! Cassandra is very communicative and accommodating. She sends pictures and updates throughout the booking and Rosie always comes back happy and without any issues.”

“My dogs loved their stay. I received updates and pictures. I was so worried about leaving my dogs for the first time but I would absolutely use services again! Thank you so much for taking such great care of my babies”

“Lorena is an angel. Our family came with a special kind of crazy this trip including changing dates of pickup and all sorts of chaos, but Lorena handled everything with ease and kindness. She was excellent at communication and I could tell from all of the pics and videos that Birdy was having a great time at her place. Birdy brings a lot of energy when she's first meeting a new person, and Lorena seemed to welcome her with open arms. I give her the highest of praise. Really wonderful to work with.”

About: Hi! I’m Jo, and I specialize in caring for small dogs who are used to being someone’s whole world. After struggling to find a sitter who truly only takes one dog at a time, I decided to become the kind of sitter I was searching for. I know how hard it is to leave your little one with someone else. Small dogs aren’t just pets — they’re shadows, cuddle buddies, emotional support systems, and family. They thrive on attention, routine, and feeling safe. That’s exactly what I provide. If the thought of your small dog feeling scared or lost among a pack worries you, you’ve found the safe place you’ve been looking for I work from home so will be able to give full attention. I understand small dog energy — from clingy Velcro pups to sassy little bosses. I’m patient, attentive, and very tuned in to their comfort and routines. Right now, caring for my own small dog is part of my everyday life. I follow a consistent routine with regular walks, feeding times, play sessions, and lots of affection throughout the day. I make sure my dog gets enough exercise but also has quiet time to rest, especially after walks or play. I’m very attentive to their behavior and mood, so I can quickly notice if something seems off.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Shirley
We booked Lorena for our senior dog Onnie somewhat last minute as our regular pet sitter had a medical emergency only a couple of weeks prior to a two week vacation. Lorena was lovely to chat with via the Rover app and was flexible with scheduling a meet and greet. Onnie needs extra care as she takes an oral medication, topical medication and wears dog-diapers. Lorena handled it all in stride. We were left at ease knowing the Onnie was receiving amazing care and lots of love. We loved receiving lots of pictures and video updates. Lorena’s house and large backyard are clean and pet friendly. Lorena will be our go-to sitter from now on. Do not hesitate to schedule with her:)

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
