I'm never bored as long as there's a dog nearby :) I'm also a Stony Brook University student with a flexible schedule and my own reliable transportation. My other job is seasonal landscaping, however my boss is very flexible and lenient when it comes to my Rover job. My landscaping will never interfere with my care for your pet. About: Loving pet parents who will take special care of your pets, as if they were their own. Daily walks on the beach outside will give your pet a special feeling of freedom. My wife and I have grown up with animals and are willing to board all different types. We have a male and female Bernese Mountain dog and a female Newfoundland. We also have a female domestic long haired car and 1 rabbit. We have a 4 bedroom home where your pets will have extra space, close to an acre of property that is completely fenced in. Right outside our backyard is the bay with a private beach where we like to go for daily walks, we are sure your dogs would love the bay breeze as well. Thanks for learning about us. I work remotely so I am constantly around to stick to your pets routine. Thank you again for taking the time to review our details. I treat all animals as I treat my own, like family. Your pets will have the best of care and full attention while staying with us. We both work from home so your pets will never be left alone. We tend to be early birds so early morning wake ups to tend to the pets is our norm. We have a fully fenced in yard on a little over a 1/4 acre for your babies to run and play. They will have free range in our home. We treat all our guests like our own.

About: Throughout my life, we've always had dogs in the house and, as I’ve gotten older, there was definitely a period where it seemed more like a zoo than a human household with all of our rescues. When I was in high school, I fell in love with training dogs and really never wanted to do anything else. Over the years, I’ve made every effort to immerse myself in the field through work at Petco and multiple daycares, as a volunteer at Kent Animal Shelter, as a student with the Animal Behavior College, becoming a CPDT, opening my own business, and tentatively dipping my toes into the grooming aspect of it all as well. Hopefully, as time goes on, I can continue to pursue my dog training career as a multifaceted professional and expand more fully into my own business. I run my own multifaceted pet services business offering a variety of options from training and boarding to walking and photography, so my whole day circulates around pet-related bookings and activities. I live on half an acre of land with a fully fenced in yard, separate attached dog run, and plenty of space to run! We do a perimeter check twice daily to make sure the fencing is secure and the grounds are meeting our standards of cleanliness. I can easily crate dogs if that’s what their paw-rents request, but also have no problem allowing them to roam through the house if that’s what they’re accustomed to. I do have a few pups of my own, but they’re the friendliest guys you’ll ever meet — one is actually a quadriplegic! Everyone is in their own space while eating and stay separated for about an hour following meals to allow food to digest. Let me know if there are any other accommodations your pet needs!

About: Since I was young, I have taken care of a variety of dogs. My responsibilities included walking, feeding, and playing with them. I have also been with puppies that were in the process of being potty trained. I have a flexible schedule. Please reach out to confirm my availability for specific days and times. About: From a young age, one of my greatest aspirations was to learn how to properly train and care for dogs. At just nine years old, I saved my birthday money and—with the help of my parents—welcomed my very first puppy into my life. From that moment forward, dogs have remained a central part of my life. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of raising and caring for five dogs, including one beloved companion who is no longer with us. Today, my fur family includes two Shih Tzus, an Australian Cattle Dog, and a Miniature Australian Shepherd. After relocating to Kansas City, I brought my Australian Cattle Dog and Mini Aussie with me. My two Shih Tzus were raised in New York and remain there with family, where they are comfortable in the environment they’ve always known. Needless to say, these animals mean the world to me. They bring immeasurable joy, companionship, and energy into everyday life, and I understand how important it is to trust someone with the care of your pet. I would be honored to care for your dog with the same attentiveness, patience, and integrity that I give my own. In addition to general care, I am well-versed in puppy development, foundational training techniques, and behavioral correction strategies. If your dog would benefit from structured guidance during our time together, I’m happy to incorporate that as part of the experience. My personal dogs do not need to be present during any service. However, if your dog forms a positive connection with one of mine and you specifically request that they join us for companionship during walks or activities, I’m happy to accommodate when appropriate. In those cases, it can create a fun and enriching experience for everyone involved. My goal is simple: to ensure your dog feels safe, engaged, and well cared for—while giving you complete peace of mind. Pet care is already part of my daily routine so, adding another to the pack isn’t a hassle! My two pups keep me busy and on schedule, they’re fed around 8am, and again at 5pm. Aside from routine morning walks, they exercise for roughly 1.5hrs daily (depending on weather conditions). My home is smoke free, and pet welcoming. I have 4 amazing dogs (Mini Aussie, Australian Cattle Dog, and 2 Shitzus) that will happily keep your pup entertained! They are thoroughly trained and well mannered. If you have a pet that you don’t think will do well with this interaction, I will gladly chat with you to see if we can find a way to accommodate! I have a spacious, fenced-in, backyard area for you dogs to enjoy themselves!

About: I have experience working with many different kinds of animals! I am kind, patient, caring, and I am able to work with so many different animal personalities! About: I’ve been around dogs since I was a baby. I am retired detective with plenty of time to take care of your fur babies. I have experience with dogs of all sizes and breeds. From walking and playing I am full of energy. I currently have my own dachshund pitbull mix puppy so I also have experience with young pups. I had to go away for a weekend and the person I had set up to walk Tex had to leave town (my fiance was able to care for him but is diabled so couldn't walk him) so I was in a bind. I signed up on Rover and found Brett. She met with Tex before I left and she was amazing. THEN...another friend who was going to walk Tex, suddenly became sick and had to cancel a few walks (I was already 8hrs away and panicking). Brett stepped in last minute and covered those walks too! I don't know what I would've done without her!”

If I don't have an overnight sitting, I come home throughout the day to take my dogs out and give my chickens some late-day time to forage.
