Whether we are playing fetch or cuddling up for an afternoon nap, your pet’s happiness, safety, and comfort will always be my top priority. I am always open to discussing any additional support that your pet may need. I am currently employed but mostly work from home, so my schedule is flexible and can work around any pet’s needs—provide an extra walk, an extra cuddle session: you name it! I have a large fenced in yard that provides my animals with safe spaces for exercise. I also have a pet water fountain inside the home to promote hydration especially during the summer months. My pets always get a breakfast and dinner, though each is tailored to their specific dietary needs. About: Loving pet parents who will take special care of your pets, as if they were their own. Daily walks on the beach outside will give your pet a special feeling of freedom. My wife and I have grown up with animals and are willing to board all different types. We have a male and female Bernese Mountain dog and a female Newfoundland. We also have a female domestic long haired car and 1 rabbit. We have a 4 bedroom home where your pets will have extra space, close to an acre of property that is completely fenced in. About: Hello, I’m Hailey! I’m currently earning my post graduate hours as a mental health counselor. The field can be pretty heavy and demanding, so doing things that bring genuine joy and rejuvenate you is so important. I love animals and I love spending time outside, so walking dogs is like the best of both worlds. It gives me the opportunity to be present, grounded, and be involved in my community. It is also rough out here being pre licensed, so anything extra helps. I’ve owned dogs all of life; I’ve had 6 dachshunds this far, so I have experience with dogs of all ages. Additionally, I’ve also been dog sitting for my relatives throughout the years. While my dogs are teenie tiny, I’ve walked medium and larger dogs before. Breed experience is as follows: dachshunds, Irish terrier, border collies, a husky, and a mastiff. Behaviors I’ve dealt with include anxiety, reactivity, and resource guarding. My most recent edition to my family guards and is very much a “my way or the highway” kind of dog. That being said, I’ve done a lot of research on dog behaviors and try to be mindful of their needs and body language. I have a background in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and learned a lot about conditioning and reinforcement in my years of education. I’m in no way a dog trainer, but I know when to reward desired behaviors and when not to reward. I prefer to stick to dog walking since my schedule outside of Rover is pretty demanding. About: Throughout my life, we've always had dogs in the house and, as I’ve gotten older, there was definitely a period where it seemed more like a zoo than a human household with all of our rescues. When I was in high school, I fell in love with training dogs and really never wanted to do anything else. Over the years, I’ve made every effort to immerse myself in the field through work at Petco and multiple daycares, as a volunteer at Kent Animal Shelter, as a student with the Animal Behavior College, becoming a CPDT, opening my own business, and tentatively dipping my toes into the grooming aspect of it all as well. Hopefully, as time goes on, I can continue to pursue my dog training career as a multifaceted professional and expand more fully into my own business. I run my own multifaceted pet services business offering a variety of options from training and boarding to walking and photography, so my whole day circulates around pet-related bookings and activities. I live on half an acre of land with a fully fenced in yard, separate attached dog run, and plenty of space to run! We do a perimeter check twice daily to make sure the fencing is secure and the grounds are meeting our standards of cleanliness. I can easily crate dogs if that’s what their paw-rents request, but also have no problem allowing them to roam through the house if that’s what they’re accustomed to. I do have a few pups of my own, but they’re the friendliest guys you’ll ever meet — one is actually a quadriplegic! Everyone is in their own space while eating and stay separated for about an hour following meals to allow food to digest. Let me know if there are any other accommodations your pet needs!

About: I've been taking care of dogs and cats for years. (10+) Over the years of watching animals, for many especially the ones I see on a regular basis, I have built a strong connection with them. They are literally so special and I form strong bonds with them, as well as all pets and animals. I do my best to feed even the deer, squirrel, birds, wild turkey etc that come into my yard every day. At this point some of them even look into my windows asking, "so are ya gonna feed me or what??" lol :) There is something so special about ALL animals and that is why I truly love doing what I do, I am pretty open just require a days' notice. I am in the Westhampton area and prefer to travel within a 10-mile radius. If needed, I will consider traveling further, please contact me should you live further out, and I will do my best to accommodate you. In the case of being located outside of the 10-mile perimeter I may charge for a meet and greet. PLEASE NOTE** OVERNIGHT STAYS- PRICE INCLUDES UP TO 8 HOURS. In the past I watched animals out of my home however, at this time, I am available to check in with your pet in the comfort of their own home, feed them, go for 30 min walks, play in the yard or just hang out for companionship. Whatever they like most I can absolutely accommodate.
