About: I've always been such a huge animal lover and always took care of my own cats, dogs, guinea pigs and birds. I used to watch my family members pets when they would go away and feed them per special instructions and stayed with them as long as I could so they were never lonely. About: I am a public school teacher so I am available Monday-Friday after 3pm and weekends/holidays. I have loved animals since I was a small child and have owned dogs and cats ever since. I have experience taking care of older animals and giving medications and special dietary restrictions. I was raised around a variety of animals—including chickens, rabbits, cats, and dogs—and developed a strong understanding of their unique needs from an early age. My goal is to provide reliable, compassionate, and attentive care when watching your pets, as I would want someone to do the same with mine. Pet care works great for my schedule because I work in a school during the months of September-May, Allowing me to be home by 3 PM, and I am off on the weekends. Starting in June, I have full availability to watch your pet throughout the day, which is great for when families would like to go on summer vacations, or need someone to check on their pet often. Depending on the service requested, I will always take your dog for a long walk. I love going for a walks, so having a furry friend be able to join me is amazing. If this is an overnight visit, besides playtime every few hours, there will be at least two long walks every day. Feeding will be done at normal breakfast and dinner time unless there is a specific schedule. I am also an online college student so being home with your pet while taking classes will be no problem if they require a little bit more attention.
About: I have had dogs of different kinds throughout my whole life. Two rhodesian-ridgebacks, one pit bull, and a jack russel. In addition to this I have dog sat for close friends that have a Golden Doodle, A yorkshire terrier and even cats! I am prepared to deal with pet accidents, special instructions, walks, baths, feeding, etc. I am home from college for break until January 10th! I can work any day and I love all animals! I take care of my own dog every day so I am used to anything they throw at us! I got my own dog at 14 years old and am now almost 21. In high school, I woke two hours before I needed to be up for school and took my dog on a walk, then he was fed and taken out again before I left. In the afternoon after School I took my own dog and my family dog out for a walk while my mom was working from home. I bathe my dog on my own and pay for whatever he needs out of pocket. If I were to care for a dog in someone else’s home I would play with the dog and be extra conscious of the environment. Also I will take them on walks or runs and feed them when needed!! In the past when I have watched a friend’s dog they usually had instructions and times for me to go. I would do what they asked and stay a little longer to give them some company.
About: I’ve been around dogs for basically my whole life and I’ve always loved animals. I’ve been taking care of my own pets- walking, feeding, bathing, training, etc- for as long as I can remember. More recently I’ve taken care of friends pets while their owners are away- including dogs, cats, and a bunny. In these instances I was responsible for checking in on the pets a few times a day to feed them, let them outside, refill water, and give them lots of love and attention. When walking dogs I try to always be aware of my surroundings and be on the lookout for cars, other dogs, or wild animals. My own dog can be a bit sneaky and is a big chewer so I know how important it is to be vigilant when watching dogs. I’ve also had a reactive dog in the past so I’m confident in my abilities to distract and remove a dog from a hostile situation. I’m always interested in learning more about proper pet care and have spent time researching pet safe foods and activities for my own pets. My goal is always to give a pet the best care possible.
