“My Scrappy (who is a 2 year old Pomeranian/ Poodle Mix male) stayed with Maria, Eric, and Penny (their fur baby girl) for 12 days. Scrappy and Penny had a meet and greet prior to booking. They hit it off. They were like long lost loves. Scrappy is one to be pretty scrappy at times, so I had to check the fence line because he likes to try to dig. They have a very secure backyard that made me feel comfortable to leave him there too. Maria said she would be out there with them, which made me feel better. But the fence was very secure anyway. Maria sent me photos and videos daily of Scrappy and Penny playing in the snowy backyard, napping together, and enjoying each other’s company. Scrappy seemed very happy and content staying with the family. Unfortunately, Scrappy had to say farewell to Penny for now. When I picked him up there was another fur friend there too, who was an elderly regular. He seemed like a sweetheart too. It was nice to see Scrappy had so many few friends. Maria’s sending us pictures and videos made me smile while we were away. It made me feel like he was doing well and he was happy and it provided me with a great sense of comfort to know he was being well taken care of. I would recommend Maria and her family for pet sitting. Maria herself was very nice and welcoming to me and my family. Eric seemed very pleasant and sweet and Penny was a beautiful and lovable dog, whom I wanted to bring home with us. Lol. Glad we picked them for Scrappy. Thank you Maria, Eric and Penny!!! “I am the kind of dog mom who barely lets my best friends hold the leash. Helicopter mom. I worry about my pup because he is my son and also because he is a Frenchie with basically zero snout which can be dangerous if left in the hands of someone unfamiliar with short nosed breeds. I planned a trip to Florida and had to board my pup for over a week. I looked everywhere and read tons of reviews because I was really nervous about leaving my baby with someone else. I found Melissa who has lots of experience with dogs and short nose breeds. We did a meet and greet beforehand and she made me feel comfortable that my pup was in good hands. When I dropped him off he ran into the house to play with the other doggos so fast I couldn’t even get his leash off of him! He spent the next week playing inside and outside, napping, and getting lots of treats and attention. Melissa sent me photos daily and always responded quickly to my texts. I am surprised he even wanted to come home because he was having such a good time! He was in great condition when I picked him up; maybe just a little tired from all the fun. I now know whenever I need to be out of the house for an extended period of time whether it’s a day or a vacation, I have a great place to leave my pup. Thank you to Melissa and her family for caring for my baby so well! I definitely will bring G to you again and I highly recommend Melissa for boarding.”

She answered all of my questions and watching Thomas wander around her backyard and then plop down on the lawn told me that this was the perfect sitter for him.
