“Jinay was literally the best sitter ever!! I’m always weary about leaving my pittie with separation anxiety with someone new but she just went above and beyond! She knew exactly how to deal with it and went above and beyond with her care. She even did a training day for her and another dog!! She sent me amazing adorable pics and vid’s all throughout her stay and I could see my dog was just having the best time! So glad I chose her :)”

“Jennifer was exceptional with Hank! I was very nervous leaving him for the first time with someone new but she took such amazing care of him! She spoiled him more than we do which I didn’t think was possible! She was so responsive and communicated with me multiple times a day with updates including pictures and videos. She even found out one of the treats I had been giving him was upsetting his stomach! I can’t recommend Jennifer enough and will always use her when we have to leave Hank!”

“John (Jay) took wonderful care of my senior male boxer Gunnar! He really made my trip so much more enjoyable because of all the daily updates and pictures! My mind was at ease! Gunnar doesn’t spend a lot of time away from home, practically none, but now I feel very that he did so well with John and found his home away from home! Thank you so much!”

“We had Jennifer watch our older GSD Dolly for the first time this week. Jennifer and her husband took very good care of our girl, were very attentive to her needs. “This was our first time leaving our dog to any sitters house. We were nervous how our dog will react but Daniel made him feel at home. “Kathy was an amazing pet sitter. My dog stayed for three nights and had the best time playing with her sweet dog Ollie. Kathy was incredibly attentive and kind. My dog had hurt her leg prior to going over there and she even took the time to gently massage her leg ( after checking with me) It really meant a lot knowing my dog was so cared for uncomfortable. I wouldn’t hesitate to book with Kathy again and highly recommend her!”

“Donna was fantastic with our Molly. She gave updates and pictures, and definitely took such good care of my girl. I will definitely be using her again for our future travels !”

About: For the comfort and safety of every pup, I only host one family’s dog at a time. This allows me to give your dog my full attention and maintain a calm, low stress environment. My care goes beyond the basics. it’s rooted in genuine love and experience. My journey caring for Kayne, our special needs dog, taught me how to handle medical routines, provide comfort, and stay attentive to every detail. That experience shaped my approach to every pet I welcome. I understand that each animal deserves patience, respect, and love. Whether your pet is playful, shy, or needs a little extra care, they’ll always be treated like family in our home. We’re CPR and First Aid certified, giving you extra peace of mind while your pup is in our care. Pet care is woven into my daily life and something I genuinely love. As a stay at home mom, I’m home full time to give every furry friend constant love and attention. Our days revolve around walks, playtime, and snuggles. Caring for our late dog, Kayne, who developed a spinal injury and heart condition, taught me that true care takes patience, compassion, and adaptability qualities I bring to every pet I meet. In our home, every animal is treated like family. I provide a clean, safe, and active space with multiple walks, a fenced yard for play, and individualized routines. Through my experience caring for Kayne, who required special medical attention, I learned how to adapt to any level of care whether it’s energetic puppies or older companions needing extra comfort. You can feel confident knowing your pet is in loving, capable hands that treat them as one of our own.

“This is our third time using Gabby! Our dog Chance is a shy and nervous dog but he warms up to gabby and being with her so quickly! She sends us daily pictures and he always looks so happy with her! We will continue to use Gabby’s services whenever we go away. Thank you again!”

“This was our first time using Rover. I was very reluctant to use a person I did not know, or friends didn't know. However, I am so glad I took the chance with a 5 day/overnight in Sarah's home. It's a relief she only takes one animal at a time since our dog doesn't like other dogs. At the meet and greet, Sarah asked many questions to get a feel for Milo (eating & bathroom habits, walking, sleeping habits etc...) To start, her home is absolutely immaculate. I received a daily update with pictures on how our dog was adjusting & doing overall. Milo was displaying some quirky behaviors which Sarah reported right away & thought was cute/funny. She was very accepting, flexible in many ways, and an absolute delight to talk with. It is apparent she is a dog lover! Upon pick up, Milo was happy and all his belongings were packed & ready to go. We plan on using Sarah again for our next trip, if she's available.”

“Maria made my girl feel so comfortable being away from her family. She sent heartwarming pictures and videos that allowed me to enjoy my trip. Hazel seemed to miss her when she got home. I will definitely be booking again soon.”

“Ashley did amazing. She had both of our dogs this time (double the trouble) but they came back very happy and well cared for. I can't recommend this sitter enough. She is amazing.”

About: Growing up, I lived with two tuxedo cats who completely stole my heart. As I got older, I took on many of their daily care responsibilities, including feeding them, cleaning their litter boxes, playing with them, and giving them plenty of love and attention. Today, I have two black cats who are the most precious year-old brothers. When my wife and I adopted them, they were extremely ill with ringworm, roundworms, and what felt like a never-ending series of upper respiratory infections. Through that experience, I gained extensive experience administering oral medications, both liquid and pill forms, and providing the patience, comfort, and care that cats need while recovering from illness. Whether a cat is healthy or sick, I am committed to ensuring they feel safe, loved, and well cared for.
“Tricia was wonderful with our 2 cats. We were away for a weekend for our daughter’s wedding so we needed someone that would care for them like we would. Tricia did that & more. It was wonderful to not have to worry about our fur babies while we were celebrating our human baby. Thank you Tricia!”

“It was such a relief having Elena checking on our elderly cat for the weekend! She did a great job, shared thorough updates and pictures, and just made us feel comfortable knowing our cat was taken care of.”

“Great communication, clean and safe environment, and most importantly, Cody had a good time 🙂. Thank you so much for taking such a good care of my furbaby.”

“I am what you would consider a little "crazy" or "over protective" of my dog, and I have a hard time trusting anyone to care for him. I contacted Laurie after I had heard great reviews about her from the dog park. Within the first five minutes of meeting Laurie, I knew she was a very caring person who could easily be trusted! Someone who invests in astro turf for their yard, and uses not one, but two fences to keep these dogs safe is someone who cares! I felt very comfortable leaving my dog in her care and I am grateful to know that I can bring my dog to daycare without having to worry about his safety. He also had a lot of fun! I highly recommend. :)”

About: I am a professional dog walker and pet sitter with over twenty years of hands on experience caring for animals. I recently moved to Suffolk County, New York from the Upper West Side of Manhattan after closing my small business in the city. Long Island has been an amazing change for us and we truly love being here. Animals have always been a huge part of my life and have shaped my career for more than two decades. Now that I work from home, I find myself really missing the daily connection with pets. I am certified in pet grooming and have experience in animal behavior as well as light training. I love teaching dogs fun tricks like giving kisses and building trust with them through patience and consistency. I also have experience working as a veterinary technician and receptionist, which has given me a strong understanding of animal health and communication with pet owners. I still maintain several wonderful clients from my time in Manhattan and I am excited to grow my services here in Suffolk County and meet new dogs and their families. About This Sitter Animals have always been my passion for as long as I can remember. I never imagined how far this path would take me, but I truly cannot picture myself doing anything else. Caring for pets feels natural and rewarding to me, and I am grateful every day to be part of their lives. Why I Love Dog Sitting I have loved dogs since the first time I was able to have one of my own. The more I learn about different breeds and personalities, the more my appreciation grows. Every dog has its own temperament and charm, and getting to know them is one of my favorite parts of this work. Meet My Pets In loving memory of Miah. Jenna is currently my active little companion. They are two beautiful Chihuahuas who have filled my life with joy and laughter. I live in a small four bedroom home in Coram with a backyard where dogs can safely get fresh air and supervised outdoor time. Inside the home, pets are never left unattended for long periods and I always follow the owner’s instructions carefully. I have over twenty years of experience working with animals, including veterinary office experience, so I am very observant of behavior changes and health concerns. About: I've always had a special connection with dogs. Ever since primary school, I volunteered to walk all my neighbors' dogs and would stay to play with them for hours—tug-of-war and frisbee were our favorites. I've walked dogs of all sizes, sometimes up to three at a time. Getting my own puppy was the best thing in the world for me, and I naturally have endless patience for animals. Throughout college, I walked and sat for my piano professor's dog for years—around the neighborhood, and I also drove him to dog parks and beaches. On top of that, I've volunteered at an animal shelter, cleaning dog and cat rooms and socializing with the animals. I currently can't have a dog of my own because I fly in and out for work. That's why I'm doing this part-time — it's never an assembly line for me. Each dog gets my full, individual attention, and I truly make friends with every one of them. I'm a sound designer and composer working on contract-based stage productions, which gives me a flexible schedule. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine — I walk dogs at least three times a day, feed them as many times as requested, and make sure they get plenty of playtime outside of my work hours. Since I'm not working a rigid 9-to-5, I can easily adjust my day around each dog's needs, whether that means extra cuddles, a longer walk, or a spontaneous trip to the dog park. Plus, because I fly in and out for work and can't have my own dog right now, caring for other people's dogs is something I genuinely look forward to and prioritize every single day. I live in a first-floor condo apartment in a neighborhood with lots of green areas — perfect for dogs who love quick potty breaks and longer sniffing walks. I let dogs free roam throughout my home and they're absolutely allowed on furniture. I treat every dog as if they were my own, which means lots of freedom, comfort, and attention. Since I do this part-time, I never have more than two unfamiliar dogs at once, so each dog gets a calm, focused environment. I'm extremely respectful of their space and routines — I follow all feeding, walking, and medication instructions to the letter, and I always leave things cleaner than I found them.

“Julia went above and beyond to accommodate our very socially anxious dog. He’s always extremely excited to see her again, she stayed with him to calm him down when he was howling out of loneliness, she always replies quickly, and she’ll even bake cookies for the owners. Best experience we’ve had on this app”

About: Animals have always been an important part of my life. Growing up, I lived with two tuxedo cats who completely stole my heart. As I got older, I took on many of their daily care responsibilities, including feeding them, cleaning their litter boxes, playing with them, and making sure they felt loved and comfortable. Today, my wife and I are proud pet parents to two black cats. In addition to caring for cats, I have experience watching a toy poodle puppy under one year old. My responsibilities have included taking her outside for regular bathroom breaks, supervising walks, engaging her in play and exercise, teaching basic tricks and commands, reinforcing good behavior, and helping her work through separation anxiety. Caring for a young puppy taught me the importance of consistency, positive reinforcement, patience, and attentiveness to a pet's individual needs. Whether caring for cats or dogs, I am committed to providing a safe, loving, and reliable environment where pets feel comfortable, happy, and well cared for. I understand that every animal has a unique personality, and I strive to give each pet the same level of attention and affection that I would want for my own. i work part time in the mornings and am available most days after 1pm. I am a doctoral student at Stony Brook University, so I am flexible to watch your pup or kitty any time in the afternoons/evenings. If needed, I can do an early morning stop by at 6:30AM prior to heading to work. in my clients home, I will be respectful of property, taking off shoes before entering the house, cleaning up any messes that the animal/myself may create, ensuring the animal has food, water, litter box, toys, etc. accessible, and to lock up the house, windows, and any gates prior to leaving the home. I will always accommodate the clients requests. In my home, I have multiple floors to separate my animals from the animal(s) coming into my home. I also have a fully fenced in, large backyard for a dog to run around in. We have a home security system as well to ensure safety.

“Maureen is amazing! Very responsible, caring, and most important loving to my dog. I’ve noticed a wonderful change in my Shmoopy since Maureen started walking her. She’s happier and more excited now that she has someone as great as Maureen coming by to walk her and play with her. Words can’t describe how great Maureen has been with and for my Shmoopy. I highly recommend her! She’s truly one of a kind. Thank you!”

“Kerri was a fantastic sitter for my active lab. She kept me updated and sent tons of pictures daily of him having the time of his life. They cared for him as if he was their own and I couldn’t be more grateful. Macallan cannot wait to stay with Kerri and her family again!”

“We had Jennifer watch our older GSD Dolly for the first time this week. Jennifer and her husband took very good care of our girl, were very attentive to her needs. She sent pictures of a happy, smiling dog to us, which we appreciated. Looking forward to using Jennifer for a much longer stay in the near future. They are definitely dog people.”

“This was our first time leaving our dog to any sitters house. We were nervous how our dog will react but Daniel made him feel at home. If we messaged him to see how our dog was doing, he would answer right away with pictures. Our dog was able to run and play all day. We will definitely be using Daniel’s boarding service again.”

“Amber was awesome with Jag. Sent me pictures & videos of Jag having fun. I would definitely recommend Amber. I’ve never felt so comfortable leaving my dog with anyone. Thank you again Amber for making my time away relaxing & worry free!”

“Our dog Maggie had such a great time with Ann and her family. Between catching wiffle balls or playing in a kiddie pool, Maggie was well looked after and enjoyed lots of play time. Ann is a very loving and caring person and we knew immediately Maggie was in great hands. The backyard is safe and fenced in with plenty of space to run around. Ann gave daily updates with photos and videos! Highly recommend!!”
