My French Bulldog Tuxedo scared away 3 pet sitters / dog walkers. Dana was amazing with him. She gained his trust and has always been able to handle him, even on his moody days. Tuxedo adores Dana and is always thrilled to see her. She gets down to his level and shows him love and kindness. Tuxedo, in return shows Dana a ton of love. About: Hello! My name is Sarah, I currently work as a manager at a pet store. The store includes a grooming salon, of which I am trained to help with safety and maintain. I am equipped to help dogs and their specific needs. I have corporate training in safety and dog health. I hope to see your furry friend soon! Currently I work full time, and attend college. However the semester is almost over. So I will have even more time to spend with some furry friends. I have been trained in signs of distress and several other areas of concern as it comes to walking dogs and maintaining a level of safety. I have my own personal tools if needed.

About: I've owned and cared for cats my entire life and began pet sitting for neighbors & friends ~10 years ago. I love all animals and truly adore being able to meet and bond with new pets as a part of my daily life. Something to note: I have experience medicating cats since my fur baby was a diabetic who required insulin injections daily for 5+ years of his life. I'm fairly new to Rover (~2 years active), hence my lack of reviews compared to other sitters, but I assure you that I do everything in my power to exceed all care expectations and treat your home with the utmost respect :) I work part time in Stony Brook, primarily on Wednesdays. My shifts are no longer than 6 hours typically. My schedule is very flexible and I am open to working with each pet owner to meet their care needs. My personal cats have always been indoor/outdoor because we never wanted to deprive them of the outside world. I understand why some pet owners only allow indoor animals and I completely respect that! My home has always treated its animals with as much care as you would a baby. Although I do not do take-home services, I will treat your home with an equal amount of respect and kindness as I do my own.

Each pet receives individual attention, from belly rubs to personalized play sessions, ensuring they feel at home. If compatible, I carefully introduce pets to my resident animals or other pets under my care, supervising interactions to foster positive social experiences. Regular grooming sessions are part of the care, along with prompt clean-up of any accidents to maintain a hygienic environment. In the Client's Home Keeping pets in their familiar environment reduces stress. I follow their usual routine for meals, walks, and bedtime.I ensure the home is secure at each visit, checking locks and monitoring any potential hazards. I engage pets with their favorite toys and activities, ensuring they get plenty of exercise and mental stimulation. Regular updates, including photos and messages, keep pet owners informed and reassured about their pet's well-being. For pets with specific dietary or medical requirements, I meticulously follow provided instructions to administer medications or prepare meals.
