5. Gina I.
“I found out the day before that I needed a sitter for my 8 month old, yet to be neutered, tank of a puppy, Apollo. Having previously left him with only family members, and only a handful of times, we were a little nervous. When we first got there, Apollo immediately seemed to feel comfortable, not even looking back at me. I received photos a few hours in, and when it was time to pick him up, Apollo was trying to climb into a lap (he’s 75 lbs), and was being praised as a love, cuddle bug! Overall positive, seamless experience and I would book again.”

10. Catherine P.
“Catherine is wonderful and I can tell she truly cares about all the dogs in her care! Our Frenchton 8 month old puppy Opie went to Catherine recently for daycare and had a great time. I was nervous because Opie had never spent the day away from home before but Catherine made sure to share plenty of pictures and kept me involved throughout the day with how he was doing. I also appreciated that if she was unsure of something, she didn't hesitate to ask me. I know he had a great time not just from the pictures but also the fact that he slept for hours when we got home! It was the reviews that led me to reach out to Catherine and I can't say how relieved I am to know I now have someone I can trust to care for our pup whenever we need it.”

About: I've been a pet owner of animals from all shapes, sizes and ages for nearly 28 years now, but have been taking care of them for about 26 years. I was born and raised around animals, and have never gone a moment in life without having them in my life. I have also worked at two pet stores where I trained, raised, medicated and cleaned up after even more animals than I have even owned. I've personally owned dogs, cats, rats, rabbits, ferrets, sugar gliders, hamsters, gerbils, mice, chickens, guinea pigs, geckos, turtles, snakes and fish. I have experience with animals of all ages from birth to senior and am comfortable providing medications when necessary. I also like to consider myself very good at training dogs, as it is something I've not only done for my own dogs, but have been previously hired in the past to help other families with their dogs/puppies as well. I am patient, outgoing, caring, organized and calm-natured as a person and adore the idea of helping others. With animals and making people smile as two of my favorite things, this felt like the perfect way for me to achieve both of those in life, by helping pet-parents to put their worries aside by leaving it up to me to help them when they need it most with their beloved pets. With me, your pets will never go uncared for, because animals mean the world to me. I am currently unemployed, leaving me home all day, everyday. If there is ever a change in my schedule, I am prepared to update my profile to account for that. As an organized person, I am very careful to make sure others are as up to date as I am. When it comes to my home, I have a fenced in yard and a dog who loves every breathing thing on the planet. Your pet can have plenty of outside or inside time per your request, I am adaptable and flexible for the preferences you may have for your baby. When it comes to your home, I will do whatever it takes to make sure both you and your pet are comfortable and satisfied with my services. I am good at following rules, schedules, preferences and details. You can count on me to do the right thing.

“Alex is very warm and friendly, and our Bo had his little French bulldog to play with along with another daycare doggy. Bo got snacks, walks, and we received several photos during the day. About: What sets me apart as a dog sitter is my comprehensive approach to pet care, emphasizing not just the physical but also the emotional well-being of the animals under my care. With a background in animal behavior, I specialize in training puppies, using positive reinforcement techniques to establish good habits early on. For senior dogs, I provide gentle care tailored to their unique needs, ensuring they remain comfortable and engaged despite any age-related challenges. Additionally, I am skilled in administering medication and first aid, for I am an EMT. This makes me well-prepared to handle a wide range of health needs. My commitment to regular, open communication with pet owners means you'll always stay updated on your pet's adventures and well-being. Whether it's a high-energy puppy or a senior dog, I strive to create a nurturing environment that feels like a second home to every pet. Pet care seamlessly integrates into my daily routine, reflecting my genuine passion for animals and their well-being. Each morning starts with a dedicated time for outdoor walks or playtime, ensuring my dog under my care get the exercise and stimulation they need to start their day happily. Throughout the day, I balance my own work and responsibilities with regular check-ins, play sessions, and cuddle times, maintaining a comforting presence for my pet. Weekly, I allocate specific days for longer adventures or visits to dog parks, where my dog can socialize and enjoy a change of scenery, enhancing their physical and mental health. For my dog with specific training routines or medical needs, I schedule consistent times for these activities to ensure they receive consistent care and attention. Caring for pets, whether in my home or a client's, revolves around ensuring safety, comfort, and a lot of love. Here's how I approach both scenarios: In My Home I ensure my home is pet-proofed, with no small objects they can choke on, secure trash cans, and safe, comfortable resting areas.I maintain a consistent schedule for feeding, walks, and playtime, aligning as closely as possible with their usual routine to minimize stress. Each pet receives individual attention, from belly rubs to personalized play sessions, ensuring they feel at home. If compatible, I carefully introduce pets to my resident animals or other pets under my care, supervising interactions to foster positive social experiences. Regular grooming sessions are part of the care, along with prompt clean-up of any accidents to maintain a hygienic environment. In the Client's Home Keeping pets in their familiar environment reduces stress. I follow their usual routine for meals, walks, and bedtime.I ensure the home is secure at each visit, checking locks and monitoring any potential hazards. I engage pets with their favorite toys and activities, ensuring they get plenty of exercise and mental stimulation. Regular updates, including photos and messages, keep pet owners informed and reassured about their pet's well-being. For pets with specific dietary or medical requirements, I meticulously follow provided instructions to administer medications or prepare meals.
