“This was the first time that I had Isaac watch my dogs. I had him house/dog sit for me. I originally chose him because of his professionalism in our texting discussions and his promptness with returning messages. We had an initial meet and greet, which he was on time for, and the dogs seemed to like him right away. While I was gone, Isaac sent pictures and updates of how things were going. When I got home, I was amazed at how clean my house was. Typically when I get home from a trip there is dog fur everywhere because my dogs shed very badly. I usually tell my dog sitters where the vacuum is in case the hair starts to bother them, but I do not expect them to vacuum the house for me. However, I never mentioned any of this to Isaac, he just took it upon himself to vacuum the house. The blankets were folded nicely on the dog beds, and on the couch. He even got my mail out of the mailbox and left it sitting for me in the house. These were all extra things that I never asked of him, he just took the initiative to do these things on his own. It was nice coming home to a house I didn’t have to immediately vacuum! I can’t say enough good things about Isaac, I will definitely check with him first when I have to leave town again!”

About: I have been taking care of animals from a young age of 15. I grew up with a German shepherd which started my love for dogs. I use to volunteer at an animal shelter in Iowa when I was going to college. I would walk every single dog because it would break my heart to see them stuck in such a small space. I also rescued around 20 dogs, 50 cats, and one monkey when I was living overseas. I am very empathetic towards animals especially because they are such innocent beings. I also worked with different rescue groups overseas. I currently have 3 dogs I rescued from Peru South America. Their stories are pretty crazy but now they are living the dog dream. So I am very excited to work with animals! I am a stay at home mom looking to help owners with their pets. Having 3 dogs myself I know how necessary it is to have help! 1st I would like to come meet the pet first so we can create a trust. Then I would make sure they were comfortable in their home with plenty of food and water. I would just follow all the rules the owner has for me especially if there dog is on a specific diet. If it is okay with the owner also carry training treats with me for walks.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 11, my dogs, my friends dog’s, and my family members dogs, I’ve fed them, walked them and bathed them. Right now I have a free schedule and starting next month on the 24th I will be starting my classes at Elgin community college doing 5 classes, for 4 days a week Since my parents work most of the time, we bought cameras to keep an eye on the dogs whenever no one is home to take care of them and everyday I make sure they get exercise by playing around the house, We also make sure they get some sun by letting them play outside.

Stephanie is a God send. We were in a real emergency and called her at 5pm to come and take care of Frito. She did not hesitate. She came over later that night and stayed through the morning. She sent us pictures of Frito and he was so happy and relaxed. Frito is a naturally anxious dog, we adopted him through a kill shelter. This is the amazing part. She had met Frito once but had not sat for him yet - we have a future booking. We were so confident once we met Stephanie that we knew Frito would be lovingly cared for. Stephanie goes above and beyond (as demonstrated here). She was intuitive with our Frito and knew exactly what he needed. We feel so grateful to have Stephanie as Frito's sitter and you will too.
Suzanna is the best! She took such great care of our sweet pup who has bone cancer. Her care required medications twice per day and lots of patience and love. She gives frequent updates and photos and gives you such peace of mind knowing that your dog is being cared for by someone who truly loves animals. I can't say enough about how happy we were with Megan as our dog sitter.
