About: I grew up around a variety of animals my whole life and I have been caring for others pets since I was 13 years old. I have always loved animals and treat everyone's pets as if they were my own. My senior year of high school I created my senior project around therapy dogs and helping special needs children. I trained my own dog to be a certified therapy dog through the organization known as Pet Partners. The remainder of the project was visiting with special needs children and doing educational activities. We also visited libraries and young children with developing their reading skills. I recently graduated from Purdue University with an Animal Science degree which has allowed me to gain even more knowledge on how to care for people's pets. I also have knowledge of animal CPR and first aid for cats and dogs. I'm looking forward to being apart of this pet care community and providing excellent care to all the pets I encounter.

About: I’ve loved animals for as long as I can remember. I grew up with pets in the home—usually a dog, a cat, or both—and caring for them has always been a natural part of my life. My last dog passed away about four years ago, and while I would love to adopt again, I can’t right now because my son has significant allergies to cats and dogs. I truly miss the companionship and joy that pets bring, which is one of the reasons I’m so grateful to care for other families’ animals. When your dog is with me, they’ll get more than just the basics. Of course I’ll make sure their physical needs are met—walks, feeding, fresh water, and safety—but I’ll also give them plenty of affection, attention, and calm companionship. I’m comfortable with larger dogs, and I’m also happy to give basic medications (such as pills with food or treats) as needed. I work from home and am available for mid day walks, as well as evening visits and walks. I also am available for pet sitting on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Fridays. I would only be able to care for pets in clients homes. I will meet your pet and you prior to our first visit to ensure I understand your pet's routine and can keep them safe during their time with me.
