“Pandora had such a great time! My American Bulldog can be a handful sometimes, but Danielle made her feel right at home. I got daily updates and photos, which really put me at ease while I was away. It was clear she was well cared for and loved during her stay. I highly recommend and will definitely be booking with her again!”

“I felt totally at ease leaving my dogs with Jackie. She kept me updated with photos and videos every day, and the dogs were very happy with her. I plan on booking with her again!”

“I had never boarded my little 13 year old dog. When I had my Meet and Greet with Eric, Mollie jumped up next to him and cuddled. I knew then that she picked Eric. I was gone for a week over the 4th of July and Eric took amazing care of her even with the fireworks. As far as I am concerned I will never leave her with anyone else when I need a sitter.”

About: Hello! We absolutely love all dogs. We have a beautiful 4 year old Weimaraner who we came into our life as a pup. We also have had two prior to her. We are comfortable with all aged dogs from the feisty puppies to the more quiet seniors. We have lots of experience with young puppies, senior dogs who need medication (oral pills or otherwise), and shy or energetic dogs. Linda even worked as a Vet Tech in high school and was a dog walker in college. We both are retired and love to sit outside with our dog and go for walks. As a visitor to our home, we are open to whatever method you employ for your dog’s safety. We have experience with crate training and are happy to continue those practices if you wish. Otherwise, your dog is free to roam our fenced yard and home. We are both retired, so have lots of time for your pup. Our dog always gets to go out whenever she wants. So will yours. We usually walk our dog in the morning afternoon and evening. If your dog is up to that, we will have her join us. We have a fenced in yard for the dogs to enjoy whenever they want. Our house is very dog friendly. Our dogs are allowed on the furniture. We do not leave any food out and have a dog proof garbage can too.
“Gavin was very patient , kind and understanding of my crazy schedule for this weekend and also my first time pet parent anxiety, and my dog loved being in his carelol I would gladly book with him again!”

“Jackie was wonderful! She watched our dog Olive for a week while our family was on vacation, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Her home is lovely, clean, and spacious, with plenty of room for pups to play and rest. Jackie and her family are incredibly friendly and clearly very pro-dog, which made us feel completely comfortable leaving Olive in their care. Her neighborhood is also perfect for dogs, with lots of great walking opportunities. Jackie was very responsive throughout the week and sent us pictures of Olive every day, which we really appreciated. Olive had a great stay, and we’ll definitely be sending her to Jackie again!”

“Great hosts and couple! They took Dexter in on such short notice with welcoming Arms. Definitely going to reach out to them in the future when we’re out of town. Thank you so much!”

“Absolutely amazing! Kind, considerate person. I received regular updates and pictures. I could have not been happier or felt more comfortable leaving my fur baby in their care!”

“Robynn is amazing!!! Talyn n Captain love her and are always so happy to see her. Thank you for always taking such great care of them when they are with you!!! Can’t wait to see you again soon!”

Our dog was relaxed, and in great condition and spirits when we got him back. The daily update pictures are really great too. We will be using Jeannie again in the future.”

“I am a very anxious kitty mom. I worry about everything. Janae always takes care of our kitty girls with such compassion and care that it takes away most of my worries. I'm always going to worry, but with Janae's care I know my cats will be cared for very well, which eases most of my anxieties. Thank you, Janae.”

“Kassandra continually goes above and beyond every single time we go out of town, up to 3 weeks at a time. Our fur babies absolutely adore her as can be seen in the multiple photos she sends each visit. So thankful to have found her, we are repeat customers and will continue to use her for all of our pet needs as long as she’ll have us. ❤️❤️❤️”

“Megan was absolutely fantastic! She went above and beyond in caring for our cats and gave us complete peace of mind while we were away. She was communicative, thoughtful, and clearly cared about making sure everything was perfect. It's obvious she genuinely loves animals, and they loved her right back. We came home to happy cats and a well-cared-for home, which means the world to us. I wouldn't hesitate to book Megan again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, caring, and exceptional sitter. Thank you, Megan, for everything!”

“Stacy and her daughter were wonderful to work with! They took such great care of my cat, Reba, while I was away and put my mind at ease leaving her for a week. My kitty is extremely shy but she even came out briefly a couple of times while they were dropping in. Stacy sent regular updates and even noticed when Reba was having a little bit of trouble. She kept me up to speed on how much Reba was or wasn't eating, cleaned not only her litterbox but the area around it and even popped a couple of avocados I had accidentally left out into the fridge for me. I'm so glad I chose Stacy to take care of Reba and would absolutely book her and her daughter again!”
“I was nervous to leave our rescue cats which we’d only had for a couple of months. Two weeks is a long time! Sarah did a great job and played with them every day. Will definitively call her again.”

“Jessica was the perfect person to check in on my cat. First, she responded quickly and courteously to all my communications. Second, she took wonderful care of Bruce following all the instructions I left. She completed the checks on time and created nice reports with pictures and descriptions of how Bruce was doing. My mind was at ease and I was able to relax and enjoy my vacation knowing Jessica was taking care of Bruce…definitely recommend booking her services!”

“Mary continues to provide such excellent care and keeping for our little guy. Ever professional, punctual, and a wonderful communicator, she's the first sitter we reach for when we need to leave Thin Mint in other hands. Highly recommended!”

“We had a meet with Danielle before we left our mini poodle a few days later with her. When we went back the second time, as we approached her house, he got super excited and couldn’t wait to go in. Danielle was really kind and gentle with him. When he was anxious as we left, she held him until he calmed down. He enjoyed playing with her very active puppy and was pretty tuckered when we got back. We’re looking forward to leaving him with her again.”

“I booked last minute and Gavin was wonderfully communicative throughout. Gavin greeted Bella so kindly before daycare, and Bella had a great time with Gavin! I really appreciated his responsiveness and care :)”

“Mary was communicative, friendly, and super flexible with my puppy's first stay away. He is in a challenging phase but she handled it in stride. My pup was extremely happy in the photos and videos she was kind enough to send and came home ready to snooze :) Thank you!”

“This was my first time taking my little Mollie to Stepfanie. It was a very positive day. Mollie was loved on and I don’t think she e wanted to leave. I will definitely use her again.”

“Jackie is always accommodating to our needs for the dogs and if we are running a little late picking up. She provides pics of the dogs and takes them on walks! I like that she doesn’t take on a lot of dogs at once then Harley and Haven can get a lot of attention!”

“Thank you soooo much for taking him for the day! He is tired out and happy! Thank you for al the updates of photos and videos I will deff be bringing him back so he can play again! Thanks so much guys I highly recommend her!! Very great!”

“Jackie was phenomenal. I reached out pretty last minute with a request that wasn’t exactly simple—she had to pick Ghost up from his training facility (not from me) and coordinate all of that seamlessly. On top of that, she even helped me sort out a small payment detail on Rover to make sure everything reflected correctly, which she absolutely didn’t have to do. She was super responsive, easy to work with, and just handled everything without friction. And the best part—Ghost lit up the second he saw her again after a few months, which tells you everything you need to know. Somehow she manages all of this while caring for multiple dogs at once and raising a young family, which honestly makes it even more impressive. Highly recommend giving Jackie a shot.”

“Liz was more than great! This was our first time using a sitter for our senior dog. Ollie loved it! Liz took great care of him and kept me updated. I would highly recommend!”
About: I’ve had pets since I was a kid. I have had my own pets as well as taking care of pets for family and friends over the years. We have a dog, and it’s very important for us to have a safe and trusting home for her to stay in while we are out of town. We want to be able to provide that for others. We both work from home full-time, so we are here all day. Your pup will be able to go outside as often as they want. We can accommodate special care or instructions as you need. We have one dog in the home. She is very friendly and loves other dogs. We only board for one family at a time, but if you have multiple dogs, we are happy to take them. We have a two-story house with a basement. Ample space to accommodate your pup(s). We also have built-in gates throughout the house if they need their own space. We have a very large fenced in yard for them to play in. We are also very near many Dog parks and nature parks where we can take long walks if desired. Pets are welcome on any furniture and in the beds, so they can be as comfortable as they like. We have a very pet friendly home. Let us know how we can make their stay more comfortable.
About: Hello! I can't wait to meet you and your furry friend! I have been caring for animals my whole life, including my own pets and also dogs I foster for a local rescue. I would love to care for your furry family member as well. As a Type-A personality and a mother of 3 humans and 3 dogs, I am very organized, reliable, detail-oriented, caring, and trustworthy. I work from home part-time in the photography industry and would love to help you add to the adorable photos of your pet while they are in my care, if you would like! I have a Masters Degree in Higher Education and a Bachelors in Entrepreneurship, both at Illinois State University. I did my business plan on a doggy day care and when I was a kid I wanted to be a vet, so as you can see...caring for animals has been in my blood from a young age! Several of my animals have had special needs or are prone to injury, so I have LOTS of experience in that regard. My vet can vouch for the fact that I would make a great vet tech. Blood and other bodily fluids do not phase me and I am cool as a cucumber under pressure (I've dealt with two dogs with broken legs, two dog strokes, cancer, many a laceration, a diabetic cat, and a dog with no eyes.) I also have fostered several puppies and love their puppy breath! Happy to help care for the youngest of your pets as well. I work from home part-time during typical business hours and cart my kids to and from their activities. My spare time is spent caring for your furry friends! Whether I am coming into your home or your pets are coming into mine, your pets and property will be treated with the utmost care and consideration. I will provide the excellent service I expect for pet sitters for my own family dogs and nothing less. Safety and security are also top of mind and, with my high attention to detail, nothing will be missed. Pets in my home will be treated like family. We have 2 retired racing greyhounds who are loving, calm, and kind, as well as a foster-fail super mutt who loves to play and keep our house safe from chipmunks and mail carriers. I have three kids (12, 10, and 7) who all have extensive experience with dogs and who will help me respectfully love on your pet while you are away. We have a LARGE fenced in yard with lots of little critters to sniff after and plenty of room to run. We live in a pet-friendly cul-du-sac with several dogs and chickens next door.

About: As a lifelong animal lover and experienced pet owner, I understand how much trust it takes to leave your pet in someone else’s care. I have a male Chihuahua-Terrier mix who stays with me part-time and gets along well with other dogs. I am the go-to pet sitter for friends and family, because my goal is to make every pet feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. Whether your dog enjoys long walks, indoor or outdoor play sessions, or relaxing with lots of cuddles, I’ll tailor their care to their unique personality and routine. I also have experience taking care of senior dogs and am comfortable administering medication, preparing special diets, and providing extra care and attention. I love having dogs around and would be delighted to welcome your pet into my home. For everyone’s comfort and safety, I ask that dogs be friendly around children, adults, and other dogs. Meet and greets—virtual or in person—are required before booking so we can make sure it’s a great fit for everyone. I can’t wait to meet you and your furry family member! I work a flexible hybrid schedule, with three days per week at home and my office is close enough to come home midday on office days for walks and all your pet’s needs. I live in a spacious townhome and do not have a fenced yard, but if your dog enjoys leashed walks and outdoor playtime, I have easy access to open outdoor spaces, parks, and nature trails. In my home, dogs are a part of the family and welcome to make themselves comfortable just as they would in your home. They are welcome to relax on the couch, snooze on the bed, or use their own bed or crate if that’s most comfortable. I want your dog (and you) to feel relaxed and safe until your return.
“Niratcha was kind to book our dog Sunny for day care on less than 24 hour notice. Very nice fenced in yard with 2 sweet huskies. Provided lots of photos and videos. Sunny did not want to leave.”

“Kassandra is marvelous! She's friendly, kind, and very reliable. My dogs adore her! She's been a great help while I've been recovering from surgery; her dog walking has made Birdie and Gracie so much happier and calmer. I would use her services again in a minute!”

“Janae is fantastic- we're so lucky to have connected with her! She is reliable, friendly and full of fun (delicious) suggestions for the area, and our boxer-mix loves her afternoon walks. We have already re-booked Janae for next time!”

About: I grew up around a variety of animals my whole life and I have been caring for others pets since I was 13 years old. I have always loved animals and treat everyone's pets as if they were my own. My senior year of high school I created my senior project around therapy dogs and helping special needs children. I trained my own dog to be a certified therapy dog through the organization known as Pet Partners. The remainder of the project was visiting with special needs children and doing educational activities. We also visited libraries and young children with developing their reading skills. I recently graduated from Purdue University with an Animal Science degree which has allowed me to gain even more knowledge on how to care for people's pets. I also have knowledge of animal CPR and first aid for cats and dogs. I'm looking forward to being apart of this pet care community and providing excellent care to all the pets I encounter.

“I left Jinn over for 5 days while I was away on a trip and Niratcha and fam took great care of him. Kept me updated with pictures and videos and really kept him busy.”

“Amazing dog sitter! She sent a bunch of pictures of my dog during his stay and took him on some really nice walks. He seemed really happy when I picked him up. Definitely recommend!”
“Stephanie was absolutely who we needed for our first time using Rover for our two dogs. A little apprehensive, but completely reassured within two minutes of meeting Stephanie and knowing our boys would be in great hands. We received multiple pictures and updates while we were away. If we need a dog sitter in the future, Stephanie is who we hope to use again!”

“Jeannie and her family were awesome! You can always tell how a dog was cared for by their condition when you take them back home. Our dog was relaxed, and in great condition and spirits when we got him back. The daily update pictures are really great too. We will be using Jeannie again in the future.”

“Penny was amazing! I left my pup, Ginger, with her for 2 weeks while we were out of country. Penny sent pictures of Ginger and made sure she had plenty of activity. I even noticed that Ginger had lost a few pounds that she needed to lose! I would highly recommend Penny!”

“Great dog boarder! Our dog typically gets stressed being away from home, but he had a great time & came home happy as could be 😊 She provided updates & photos throughout his stay too.”

“Selena is amazing! Crash is my baby boy and not only did she get him to get comfortable with other dogs but even got him to go on walks with other dogs!! Thank you so much for you amazing hospitality, she sent many pictures and video and updates reassuring me during my time gone. I will definitely be booking with Selena any time I will need boarding.”

“Thank you for caring for Riley and Clover so we could go enjoy the Solar Eclipse! We appreciated the updates and photos of our pups enjoying their time with you. Thanks again!”

“Arlo had a great time with Kristine and her family! Communication was clear and we received several photos and updates while we were away. It was great to know he was safe and happy while we were traveling!”

About: Hello there! My name is Erika. I’ve been interacting with dogs since I was an infant, and now I’m a proud dog owner of an Australian Shepherd named Mysti. For the majority of my life, my family has had Labrador Retrievers, and I have experience with most common breeds through friends, family, and Rover. I also have experience with lesser-known breeds, difficult breeds, and breeds that need specialized attention. My experience also includes working with dogs who require medical attention, such as dogs with diabetes, epilepsy, cancer, and most common diseases and disorders such as anxiety, depression, minor/moderate behavioral issues, and teeth/gum issues. I’m very capable of changing out gauze on medical sites, cleaning stitches, administering medicine, and cleaning up after a pet if they have an accident. Caring for pets isn’t always “pretty”, or “perfect”, and I’m okay with that. My approach is straight-forward, no nonsense, and compassionate, and I will always do right by you and your pet. Currently, my full-time job is working with pets and completing my degree. I do have some regulars around lunchtime, but other than that my schedule is generally open. In my spare time I garden, paint, draw, cook, walk my dog, and run another small business online. ———————————————————— How I run my schedule: there are certain pillars of importance that I focus on when I’m caring for your animal. Most importantly, first, we have your pet’s basic needs. This varies by each pet but I take these needs into consideration every time I’m with them. I do what I can to accommodate the physical, emotional, and mental needs of your animals without being invasive. My goal is for your pet to get everything they need, and to know that I am there for them. The second pillar that I focus on is trust. An animal respects when I actually *see* and respect them, not when I expect them to be happy regardless. Pets will wonder where you are. My job is not to replace you, but to build a unique and gradual relationship with your pet so they feel safe on all levels. The third and final pillar that I focus on is safety, but this is really at the forefront of my mind at all times. I will go to great lengths to protect your home, your pets, and your possessions. I have a pet and home of my own, so I understand how scary it can be to leave your pets and home in my care. These are the pillars that I stand by and are what make my business method virtually bullet-proof. I’m extremely meticulous when it comes to locking up homes, crating pets if needed, and securing an environment for curious pets. At the end of the day, these pillars of care can impact my schedule relative to the animals I am caring for. Please be understanding and know your animal is getting this treatment when I am with them :) ———————————————————— Important regarding house-sittings: there are some times when I am more in demand than others. This is a gig-based business, and I take what comes to me. Unfortunately, my jobs are not exact distances apart and some dogs/cats may take more time to care for than others due to high energy needs or medical problems. Please understand that my schedule varies and the likelihood of me being able to accommodate everything you need at the exact time you expect is extremely slim. I make exceptions and carve out time for dogs and cats with medical issues, but otherwise I expect your pet to be okay for a bit if I have to run out and take care of other families’ pets. I have many clients who rely on me for last-minute trips such as for work, funerals, and other personal matters. I cannot guarantee a completely open schedule for you and your pet, even though I wish this business could work that way. I am also a homeowner, engaged, and have a dog of my own, so my schedule is not for yours to do anything with. We must negotiate and see what works for us both. If you aren’t okay with that, I am not the sitter for you. I expect reasonable clients who understand this is a business, not a charity. I’m good at my job and expect people to respect my time, my professional expertise, and my judgement. Trust: Having a stranger come into your home to watch your pets is a big deal. I’m the person who comes to the house for a living and even I find it a bit strange. So, what I can say about trusting me is that I understand if you don’t. What I can tell you about me is that I’m someone who likes things straight-forward and blunt (this makes it easier for us both to trust each other), I prefer transparency (who are we all trying to fool anyways?), and I will always be honest with you about what is going on with me and your pet. I back this up by being completely okay with being watched by home cameras, as long as they aren’t in private areas, and that I am informed. ———————————————————— Environment: Cleanliness, order, and structure are important to me when caring for pets, whether they be a dog who needs a walk, a cat who needs medicine, or a puppy who just needs to play. I am very mindful about the environment I am in, whether that be your home, your yard, or walking outside in the neighborhood. I typically centralize what I need in the workspace that I am assigned (kitchen, living room, bedroom), and will complete all essential tasks as described and then clean up after myself completely. I take pride in leaving an environment clean and leaving your personal belongings untouched, and making sure that your pet can’t get into anything dangerous, can’t get out, and is safe when they are with me and when they are alone in the house. I’m careful of poisonous substances, such as coffee grounds, items containing xylitol, and other poisonous items such as chemical cleaning agents. In regard to your home, I am incredibly diligent about keeping windows and doors locked when I am around and when I am out. Nothing scares me more than the thought of a loose pet or someone getting into a home while I am gone and will go to great lengths to make sure neither of those things happen on my watch. ———————————————————— Safety: I would like to think I’m pretty fun and cool, but I’m actually quite a stickler when it comes to safety. When walking especially, I will avoid people and dogs without a second thought because I don’t want your dog to either react negatively and get into a bad situation or end up getting attacked by a reactive/aggressive dog. I’m a quick walker, carry treats on me for emergencies, and am physically capable of picking up dogs up to about 80-100 pounds. Extra large dogs I am able to control by making them do a sit and holding their collar until they’re calm or non-resistant. If they do not sit, I will block them until they listen and relax. I use obedience basics to ensure a safe and trusting relationship with the pets I watch, whether or not we are on a walk. My method when a dog is acting naughty is to ignore them, take treats away, and if necessary I can crate them.
“I highly recommend Brandi and Terrance. They are very patient with our high energy Labrador. We received daily updates from them during our trip . Sofie was very well taken care of there. We will be using them again .”

“Felt comfortable from the opening meet and greet and it seemed so did my old dog. When I was late getting back on the day of pick up, no problems; no rush. Everyone was at ease, something that was reflected when Cotah returned to her home. She looked good and happy!”
