Information Megan B. would like to know about your pet

I always appreciate finding out the little things about each individual. Like people, dogs have their own little quirks and uniqueness and want to know what will make their stay with me most comfortable. I love dogs of all shapes and sizes but lean a little towards big dogs as I grew up with them.

A typical day

I love taking dogs on long walks. Especially to new places where they can explore and get some good sniffs in. I'm all about making sure the dog has a good experience being able to get out of the house and let out some energy. I'm also up for any games of fetch, tug-o-war, or simply running around.

Pet care experience

I grew up around a variety of animals my whole life and I have been caring for others pets since I was 13 years old. I have always loved animals and treat everyone's pets as if they were my own. My senior year of high school I created my senior project around therapy dogs and helping special needs children. I trained my own dog to be a certified therapy dog through the organization known as Pet Partners. The remainder of the project was visiting with special needs children and doing educational activities. We also visited libraries and young children with developing their reading skills. I recently graduated from Purdue University with an Animal Science degree which has allowed me to gain even more knowledge on how to care for people's pets. I also have knowledge of animal CPR and first aid for cats and dogs. I'm looking forward to being apart of this pet care community and providing excellent care to all the pets I encounter.

Megan was absolutely fantastic! She went above and beyond in caring for our cats and gave us complete peace of mind while we were away. She was communicative, thoughtful, and clearly cared about making sure everything was perfect. It's obvious she genuinely loves animals, and they loved her right back. We came home to happy cats and a well-cared-for home, which means the world to us. I wouldn't hesitate to book Megan again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, caring, and exceptional sitter. Thank you, Megan, for everything!

Megan was a wonderful sitter! She was attentive, loving and sweet with our puppy while we were away for the weekend. She has a clear communication style that is warm and informative. She went above and beyond to keep our home clean and use the space well and blew us away that she taught our dog not to jump in the 2 days we were gone! She has a gift for animals and it shows. Highly recommend!!

I highly recommend Megan for any pet job you need. She has watched our dog and has house sat for us on occasion and cared for our cats, dog and chickens. She also owns a horse so she is able to care for small to large animals. Megan truly loves animals and takes very good care of them. She connects with animals very well and is pretty much an animal whisperer.
