About: I was adopted by my boyfriend’s Scottie, and for 3 amazing years, I was a dog mom. We sadly lost him in 2023 to cancer. I just want to care for dogs again! I am very active, so am able to walk and keep pups stimulated. I spent a lot of time training new tricks and playing our own fur baby even in his old age, and am gentle with senior dogs. With that, I learned of the classic Terrier personality-funny, very stubborn, but so endearing. I’m also familiar with puppy training/care. I love cuddling with pups, but can be firm when needed. I’m currently working freelance, so my schedule is flexible. I am able to walk dogs or check in during the week, day or night. I am also available to board or provide overnight care during the week and weekends, depending on my work schedule. I like keeping pets stimulated throughout the day, so that means periodic play times every couple hours, and lots of pets if the dog likes that. I have an apartment, but we have a large open space in the living room and a long hallway where we have played fetch with a large dog before (~50 lbs).
