About: I’ve been around dogs my entire life. Our dogs are like children to us. Now, as we work from home and have a big yard, we have the ideal setup for happy, safe dogs—and want to share it with your fur baby! Stay at Penny’s House: - We’ve raised our 3-year-old mini poodle to be happy, gentle and kind. She loves to play and cuddle, and gets along very well with other dogs and cats! She’s a great hostess. - Our home is very loving and safe. Someone is always around to give cuddles and love, plenty of cozy places to hang out, and hazards are always out of reach. - We have a fully fenced, big backyard where your beloved fur baby can play fetch and get out all their zoomies frequently and safely. It's also covered in grass and shaded by large trees, so don't worry about hot summer days! - We don't anticipate anything happening, but just in case, rest assured because our home is only *one block* away from an excellent animal hospital! - We’ll do our best to make sure that your little buddy will feel loved and at home here, getting the same level of care you like to provide to them. - We’ve had senior dogs and a dog with diabetes, so we are very careful and will always give attention to detail to adapt to their needs: diet, exercise, attention, or anything else. So we hope our home can be the place you rely on to feel safe leaving your little bundle. REQUIREMENTS: We’re flexible and easygoing. But because we want everyone to have a good, safe time, we do have a couple of requirements: 1) We require a meet-and-greet for all new clients before a stay to make sure our dog and yours get along well. 2) Your dog must be up-to-date on all vaccines: rabies, bordatella, lepto, etc. Because we work from home, we are available at home to take care of your little buddy full time for boarding and daycare at our home. A fully-enclosed, shaded backyard for zoomies and lots of walks around our safe, dog-friendly, and tree-lined neighborhood. Your fur baby will be under our supervision throughout the day and will get frequent trips to the yard and lots of time to play. We're also happy to walk your dog as often as you need. We’re always happy to be flexible with your schedule to accommodate both your and your dog’s needs.

I have done my best to provide a sanctuary here for my animals and any visitsors who comes across us. I have one room dedicated to the animal with cat trees and soft spaces. Water fountains (for dogs and cats) and beds for lounging. I have gates for separation during feeding times and a nice big couch everyone is welcome to lounge on!

We are from Delaware and contacted Sherrie about daycare for our dog Casey while we visited with my sister, and then the next day to attend a family gathering. We could not have made a better choice. From the first meeting we felt comfortable leaving our nine and a half year old boy with Sherrie. She sent photos and updates, and when we picked him up the first day we could tell he was well taken care of. When we dropped him off the second day he went with Sherrie without hesitation. Eileen was the best!! My family and I were visiting the area on a winter vacation and needed someone to watch our puppy since we would be gone the entire day.
