Amy was very friendly and excellent with my puppy! She arrived on time, followed the instructions I gave her, and provided me with updates that I requested during their walk. He came back happy and tired and took a long nap! You can tell he had a great time and felt comfortable in her care, which made me feel comfortable as well. Initially this was going to be a one-time walk, but we already rebooked with her for another one!

Alicia is a diligent and professional Pet Caregiver. She walked my dog every morning while I was traveling out of the country for 20 days. She was always punctual and kept me informed each day about how much she and Toffee had walked along with pictures! She sent me constant reminders on other matters related to my pet! I highly recommend her services!

About: Hi! I’m Krystal, a dependable and compassionate pet lover who has been around dogs my entire life and a proud dog owner throughout my adult years. Caring for animals has always been a natural part of who I am, and I treat every pet like they’re part of my own family. I’m also a special education teacher and a mom of two, which has shaped me into someone who is patient, attentive, and highly responsible. My background has strengthened my ability to understand different needs, follow routines closely, and provide calm, consistent care—qualities that translate perfectly to working with pets of all personalities. Since I’m off during the summer, I have increased availability and flexibility to provide attentive, consistent care during the day—perfect for pets who need extra time, supervision, or companionship. I understand how important communication is when someone else is caring for your pet. I make it a priority to keep you updated with messages and photos so you always feel connected and reassured while you’re away. Whether your pet needs walks, playtime, feeding, or just some extra love and attention, I’m here to provide safe, reliable, and caring support. I’d love to meet you and your pet! Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. As a special education teacher, I’m very used to following structured schedules, being attentive to individual needs, and staying consistent—qualities I bring into caring for pets as well. During the summer, I have a very flexible schedule and am available throughout the day for walks, drop-in visits, and extended time with pets who may need extra attention or companionship. During the school year, I’m available in the mornings, evenings, and weekends, and I make sure to plan my schedule carefully so every pet receives dependable, consistent care. As a dog owner myself, daily walks, feeding routines, and quality time with pets are already a regular part of my life, so incorporating additional pet care is something I truly enjoy and prioritize. When caring for pets, I always focus on keeping them comfortable by sticking as closely as possible to their normal routine. In a client’s home, I follow all instructions carefully—feeding schedules, walks, playtime, medications if needed, and any specific preferences you share. I make sure pets feel safe in their familiar environment while also giving them plenty of attention, affection, and supervision. As a special education teacher, I’m naturally patient, attentive, and responsive to individual needs, which helps me adjust my care based on each pet’s personality—whether they’re energetic, shy, or need a little extra support. I also prioritize communication and will send regular updates and photos so you always feel confident your pet is being well cared for.

At this time I do not need regular visits; however, I shall definitely call her again as soon as I need a dog walker/sitter again.

About: I've worked with animals of all sizes since I was 12 years old. From volunteering on farms and ranches, to caring for small exotic animals and dogs of my own, I love animals of all sorts and enjoy just spending time with them whenever I can. I've spent the better part of my life involved with animals, I've pet sit for a number of families and have even worked on rehabilitating abandoned horses. I am very comfortable working with dogs that have disabilities as well as I have watched dogs that have diabetes, seizures, paralysis, and age related issues and despite the disabilities we still make the stay an enjoyable one. With me, dogs will get plenty of love, play time, and as many walks as they'd like! I currently hold a full time remote job so my flexibility is great for pet sitting! I can do morning, afternoon and/or evening walks, I can accept pet care in my home or travel. I have many options for accommodation. I reside in a safe private community townhome with plenty of walking paths and a fenced in yard. I do prefer to host at my home as it makes remote work easier due to my inability to transport my monitors but am open to house sitting upon request.

About: Hi, my name is Catalina. I have had dogs my entire life, and I currently own a miniature schnauzer that gets along with all types of animals. I have been dog sitting for friends for years, which motivated me to join Rover to meet even more furry friends. I am a stay home mom, I will be with your furry family member all the time. I will care for your pets as if they were my own and make sure they enjoy their stay with me, so you enjoy peace of mind while you are away from them. I give pets the love and attention they deserve when they stay with me so that they feel right at home. I can’t wait to welcome your pets to our family! We wake up early in the morning. I take the dogs for a walk while my husband take our daughter to childcare. We both stay home, so we there is always one of us with the dogs. I usually take them out again at lunch, in the afternoon and before bedtime. We have a fenced back yard where dogs can run and play and a miniature schnauzer at home to keep your dog company. We have ceramic tile floor downstairs for sporadic accidents.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
