“🏡 Amy is a compassionate, loving pet care giver. She is punctual and always responds to any questions or concerns. She kept us updated on every walk and made sure that our dog Toffee, who is extremely high energy & rambunctious got the exercise that she needed. We will definitely choose her for any future per care and doggy walking….. 👌🙏💕 Thank you, Amy and thank you, Rover!”

“Nicole is absolutely fabulous with our Cole. She is extremely reliable, and she has such a great understanding of dogs. Our guy is still young and can be aggressive. Nocole has really been a positive influence on him and he is not barking at dogs or people as much on his walks. She is so extremely friendly and personable. You will love her.We do!!”

About: Hi! I’m Isis — an attentive, gentle caregiver who treats every pet with the same patience, warmth, and respect I give my own. I know how stressful it can feel to trust someone with your fur baby, so I make everything simple, predictable, and communication-focused. I’ve cared for dogs and cats since I was young, including anxious pets, shy pets, and pets who need a little extra reassurance. I move at their pace and let them warm up to me in a way that feels safe. You’ll get frequent photo updates, real-time messages, and clear check-ins so you always know exactly how your pet is doing. Your peace of mind matters just as much as their comfort. Whether I’m taking your dog for a walk, doing drop-ins, or spending the night caring for your cat, I show up with calm energy, patience, and genuine love for what I do. About: Hi there! I’m a chocolate lab mama and full-on dog enthusiast 🐶💛 If it involves wagging tails, zoomies, or happy walks outside, I’m in! I offer dog walking and drop-in visits where your pets get care, attention, and lots of love while you’re away. I’m reliable, upbeat, and I take pride in making sure your pets feel safe, happy, and spoiled (just a little). Can’t wait to meet your furry best friend! I currently work in healthcare, so I work three 12-hour shifts per week. That schedule actually gives me a lot of flexibility and free time on my days off, which I love putting toward pet care. On my days off, I’m fully available and enjoy staying active—whether that’s taking dogs on walks, doing drop-in visits, or spending time making sure pets are happy, safe, and cared for. Pet care fits really naturally into my routine because I genuinely enjoy it and like filling my free time doing something I love. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I always focus on keeping their routine as normal and stress-free as possible. I follow any instructions closely, make sure they’re fed, walked, played with, and given plenty of attention and affection. I’m very respectful of each home and treat it like my own—clean, careful, and responsible. I also make sure pets feel comfortable and safe with me at all times. My dog Moose is very friendly and social, so if a pet is open to it, I love providing extra playtime, walks, and companionship so they get a little bonus friend during my visit 🐾💛
About: Hello! My name is Kim and I’ve been a pet lover since day 1. First and foremost, I worked at a pet boarding facility for three years, where I worked myself up to manager. After wanting a change of pace, I became a veterinary technician for another three years until COVID hit. I love all animals - furry, scales, feathers, you name it! I have six dogs, five cats, two rabbits, and two rats. When my parents brought me home, I was welcomed by an Old English Mastiff and a Shepard mix, so it was destiny for me to love animals. People have told me all my life that I was a natural with pets. From the tiniest of kittens to the biggest goofy Newfies, I love them all. I currently spend my time solely pet sitting so I have open time to care for your pets! I have reliable transportation to get to and from locations. Since I have many pets at home, I do not offer my own home for pet sitting. However, I am more than happy to visit your home and care for them! I will give your pet all the love and attention they want, or if that is not their style I will simply keep them company.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
