“I was really worried leaving Silver with someone on Rover. In the past, boarding experiences never went well as she is a people person and needs quality time with people, and also has anxiety. I left her with Nicole for 2 weeks and Silver absolutely adores her! Whenever we get close to her house, Silver gets so excited. When I picked her up after two weeks she kept whining and looking back towards Nicole's. Nicole made sure she ate her meals, and communicated a lot. She kept a very close eye on on her, and any issues were brought up immediately. She was very flexible with us as we had to extend a day last minute. She also bathed Silver for pickup and cleaned all her blankets as well! Pickup was smooth and fast, as she had kept track of all of Silvers many toys and blankets and had packed everything before I arrived. She and her husband helped me load her things into my car as well. Would absolutely recommend!”

About: I am a Mechanical Engineering student with an Art minor, but my true passion has always been animals. I believe pets deserve the same love, respect, and care as people, and I take that responsibility seriously. I currently care for five of my own pets, including three dogs of different sizes, a cat, and two guinea pigs. I’ve also owned cats in the past, so I have long-term, hands-on experience with both cats and dogs across different life stages and personalities. I have frequently been responsible for their full care independently, including feeding, walking, enrichment, and monitoring health and behavior. One of my dogs has severe anxiety and a pollen allergy, which has given me experience caring for animals with special needs, including close attention to symptoms, environmental triggers, and comfort management. I’m confident in recognizing signs of illness or distress and knowing when to seek veterinary attention. I also gained hands-on experience assisting with my mother’s dog walking business, TheDogWalkerMichele, where I helped care for both dogs and cats. In addition, I have accompanied my girlfriend on multiple pet sitting and dog walking jobs, assisting with feeding, walking, playtime, and general care for dogs, cats, and kittens. I’m especially experienced with anxious or shy animals and have a calm, patient approach that helps pets build trust and feel safe. I am also open to house sitting during the week, as long as I am able to step out for my scheduled work shifts during the day. I adopted a staffy mix in 2014 and we had 9 great years together before she passed. I’m not ready to adopt again, so until then, I’d like to help others. My friends will bring their dogs when they visit me and my cats do well. I don’t have a yard per se but there is a lot of open space for frequent walks/potty breaks. My apartment complex is very pet-friendly. I am on the 2nd floor, so there are 2 sets of steps that may make it hard for older dogs. I often do overnights and stay with pets in their own home to maximize their comfort and keep their routines intact. I’m flexible based on your individual needs. One of my interests is in animal behavior. I have read many books (my favorites are from Patricia B. McConnell) My philosophy is we are training everyday. About: We own two large dogs- an Australian cattle dog/Anatolian shepherd/Hound mix, and a yellow Labrador retriever. They are very high energy and unique with lively personalities. We love to take them on bicycle rides/walks through the woods and neighborhood. We both have experience with dogs- John dog-sat as a child and has had family dogs as well, and I grew up on a farm with 10-15 inside/outside dogs all my life as well as many other animals. We have a big back yard that is fenced in, we also live next to a big state park that is loads of fun for any animal! Our entire family and our friends also have dogs, so when we all get together we usually have about 12-14 dogs all together at once running around playing and having fun! We would love to be able to help others who own dogs and have a busy schedule live life while knowing their beloved pet is well taken care of!

“If you are looking for an experienced, considerate, and dedicated dog walker/sitter, then you've found your match! Gregory has provided dog walks and overnight care for our 60lb hound mix multiple times over the last few months and we couldn't be happier with the care he provides. He is incredibly communicative, provides very detailed updates after every walk (with plenty of pictures included), and has shown the utmost dedication to understanding our dog Izzy and her specific behavioral needs. We have worked with many positive reinforcement trainers in the past to address our pups over-excitability and leash reactivity and Gregory using much of the same language as these dog trainers when discussing strategies he used on his walks with Izzy to help redirect and keep her focused and safe. Our pup is very scent driven on walks which can require a lot of patience and steady redirection, and we are so grateful for how kind and gentle Gregory is when handling Izzy. We've only had one overnight experience with Gregory so far and he took great care of our home and left the house spotless! He also ensured us that he only books one overnight stay at a time to avoid any conflicts in schedule and make sure our dog has company throughout the night and to keep her safe in the event of an emergency. All that being said, you will have no regrets choosing with work with Gregory and we feel very fortunate to have found him!”

I am currently freelance with WFH tasks and gig work and schedule my other jobs around my pet care calendar. I live in a pet-friendly apartment complex with lots of open space to walk. With me, your pup will have 24/7 one-on-one attention. They are allowed on the furniture and will always be supervised. I also have room to set up a crate if they are crate-trained but most of the time they will play and hangout where I am. I have 2 cats that do well with dogs. The cat food is raised off the floor and litter boxes are located in the main living space and are scooped immediately.

“This is the first time my dogs stayed with Annette and Martin. We had a family wedding out of state, and Annette made me feel so comfortable the entire time! Drop off and pick up were both very easy. They have a beautiful backyard for the dogs to play in. Annette sent me lots of pictures and updates throughout the weekend, which I loved.
