“SirJahad was a fantastic housesitter for my 5 month old puppy and cat. He sent plenty of pictures and detailed messages over the three days we were away. He followed our instructions and took our rambunctious dog on several walks daily.”

“One of the most important things when our family goes away is making sure we have a caring, responsible sitter for our dog, Bucky. Alyssa is amazing! We can go away and be certain that Bucky will be loved and cared for! We highly recommend her!❤️”

“Catherine was fantastic! She took great care of our puppy Phyllis and our 2 kitty cats, Frankie and Mimi and our home, and her communication was absolutely top‑notch. I got regular updates that made me feel totally relaxed while I was away. I came home to a happy pup and a house that looked perfect. Highly recommend Catherine! I’ll definitely be booking with her again.”

“Jaclyn was amazing and just what we were looking for in someone to watch our pups! We are new to the area and looking for a dog sitter has been tough, but Jaclyn was quick to respond, very experienced and super responsible with our dogs and house. We will definitely book again!”

“My husband and I would 100% trust our dog with David. We have an anxious pup and was worried about strangers meeting him but from the first meet, our dog was very comfortable with David. He gave punctual updates while we were gone and the visit went smoothly. When my husband and I came back home, we found a very nice handwritten card, chocolates, and even a dog toy from David! A very nice gesture and the kind of generous person we would invite back to our home to care for our pup. Thanks for your help David!!”

“Kimberly was wonderful with my elderly standard poodle, who requires special diet and meds multiple times a day. Then my cat got sick and she took him the the emergency vet, then had meds for him also! She was kind and loving to my fur boys. I recommend her highly!”

“Briana was a great sitter for our goldendoodle pup! I was very anxious to leave him, but he settled in so easily with her. She provided updates each day including photos and an occasional video, and when we got back we had a happy dog and our house just as we left it.”

“Our pets were cared for with top notch attention. We received pictures and text updates regularly. Our home was just how we left it . We are beyond happy with our service and will definitely book again.”

About: I am a Mechanical Engineering student with an Art minor, but my true passion has always been animals. I believe pets deserve the same love, respect, and care as people, and I take that responsibility seriously. I currently care for five of my own pets, including three dogs of different sizes, a cat, and two guinea pigs. I’ve also owned cats in the past, so I have long-term, hands-on experience with both cats and dogs across different life stages and personalities. I have frequently been responsible for their full care independently, including feeding, walking, enrichment, and monitoring health and behavior. One of my dogs has severe anxiety and a pollen allergy, which has given me experience caring for animals with special needs, including close attention to symptoms, environmental triggers, and comfort management. I’m confident in recognizing signs of illness or distress and knowing when to seek veterinary attention. I also gained hands-on experience assisting with my mother’s dog walking business, TheDogWalkerMichele, where I helped care for both dogs and cats. In addition, I have accompanied my girlfriend on multiple pet sitting and dog walking jobs, assisting with feeding, walking, playtime, and general care for dogs, cats, and kittens. I’m especially experienced with anxious or shy animals and have a calm, patient approach that helps pets build trust and feel safe. I’m also confident in basic behavior management and ensuring pets stay both safe and well-behaved during care. As an engineering student, I bring a detail-oriented and responsible mindset to pet care, making sure each animal is cared for thoughtfully, efficiently, and lovingly. During the summer, I work part-time at Rowan University’s Admissions Office for approximately 20-25 hours per week. My shifts are flexible and scheduled between 8 AM and 4 PM, which allows me to plan my pet care availability around my work schedule. I am generally available early mornings, late afternoons, evenings, and overnight stays. I am also open to house sitting during the week, as long as I am able to step out for my scheduled work shifts during the day. I will always communicate my schedule clearly in advance to ensure pets are properly cared for and never left without attention during appropriate times. Outside of my work hours, I have a flexible schedule and can dedicate plenty of time to walking, feeding, playtime, and companionship. I prioritize creating a safe, calm, and respectful environment for every pet in my care. In a client’s home, I treat the space with the same respect I would my own: following all instructions closely, keeping things clean and organized, and ensuring pets remain comfortable in their familiar environment. My focus is always on the pet’s well-being and routine. I make sure they are fed on schedule, given fresh water, exercised appropriately, and provided with plenty of attention, comfort, and supervision. I am attentive to behavior changes and always prioritize safety, especially for anxious pets or those with special needs. I also understand how important trust is when caring for someone’s pet and home, so I communicate clearly, follow directions carefully, and make sure everything is handled responsibly and consistently.
About: I have had dogs my entire life and developed a genuine love for animals from an early age. I have sat and taken care of friends’ and families' pets over the years. While in high school my mother and I fostered dogs while they waited to be adopted. In addition, I spent 2.5 years working at a locally owned pet store, where I gained hands-on experience with pet care, behavior, and nutrition. I am widely available during the week besides scheduled appointments, errands, and housework. I have reliable transportation and keep an organized schedule so there is no overlap. Each animal should feel safe in their home while their owner is away, so I work calmly and patiently to earn their trust through my actions. Your dog should know I am there for their well-being, including all the good things like snuggling, playing, and tail wags. I treat each client's home with the kindness and respect I would want in return if the roles were reversed. I follow all instructions and information provided to the best of my ability, and your dog will receive plenty of love in the process.
“Emily took great care of Ellie. She was on time and provided frequent updates throughout her stay to let us know how Ellie was doing. We even got several photos of Ellie! We would definitely use Emily again.”

“Gabrielle took excellent care of our cat and dog while we were away for a few nights! We can always trust her to take great care of them, and we never stress when we go away. Our dog has anxiety and requires medication - Gabrielle is great with him and he really likes her!”

“Greg was a fantastic pet sitter. He stayed overnight in our home with our three small dogs during our vacation, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. He was on time, great with communication, and consistently sent detailed updates and photos that kept us at ease. Our dogs loved him. Our senior dog with medical needs received extra patience and care. Greg followed every instruction, left our home immaculate, and went the extra mile to give each dog plenty of love. We’ll definitely be using him again in the future, and I recommend Greg to anyone looking in-home pet sitting.”

About: I’ve taken care of many different kinds of dogs, mainly small to medium because I have 1 small dog at home. I sometimes Foster for a few rescues as well. I crate train them and help get them ready for adoption. I have experience with puppies to Senior 🐶❤️ I work from home and able to board on weekends and possibly during the weeks as well. My 2 little dogs are laid back and sleep most of the day. I have a fenced in yard and have a playpen as well if needed. I work from home 8-5 and can keep an eye on my furry friends during the day and available after 5pm and weekends
“Stephanie took wonderful care of our two dogs while we were away! She was very communicative the entire time, sent plenty of updates and pictures, and left our house clean and organized. We highly recommend her.”

“Sam was a wonderful sitter for both the house and my animals! She sent me constant updates with photos and just made me feel tremendously at ease! She really takes great pride in the job she does caring for our animals and appreciated that so much. Will definitely be booking her again and encourage anyone to do the same!”

About: I have been working with animals for over ten years now. I attended an agricultural high school where I focused on small animal science and spent a great deal of time caring for the dogs. I attended and graduated from an agricultural college where I majored in Zoo Science. I have worked at PetSmart as a Pet Care Associate and was a great help with customers when it came to dog and cat necessities and needs. I have interned at a zoo and have worked at an aquarium. I previously worked full-time as an educator and animal care employee at a veterinary hospital. I have basic vet tech skills and know the science of veterinary medicine. I currently work part-time 3-4 days a week with a very flexible schedule and am home by 2pm when working. I own a cat myself and have experience caring for senior animals. I love getting down on the floor and playing with dogs, taking them on walks, running, and playing catch/fetch. I have been in a career with animals for over 10 years and I cannot imagine doing anything else. I love animals with my whole heart and will do anything to keep them happy and safe. I work part-time about 3-4 days a week and when working I am usually home by 2pm. While I cannot watch dogs in my own home, I will be more than responsible going into a house to care for someone's fur baby. I am very responsible and respectable and am comfortable in new environments.

What a gem Kim is!! I have a 7 month old HIGH energy GSP mix and when I tell you guys this puppy mom was stressin about going away this weekend for my husbands birdhday/father's day weekend..I was stressin'! Should I stay home? Who can handle this puppy? Will he be okay with a sitter? Will THEY be okay with my Max? But Kim eased all those worries for me. We did a meet and greet with Max first. (which put me at ease that he would be just fine with her) While we were away, Kim sent frequent updates and kept reassuring me that he was a sweetheart and that he's just simply a puppy! She even brought in the mail for us. What a relief it is to know that my fur baby was well taken care of and that he didn't drive Kim away 😆😆. We will most definitely be using Kim again in the future! Thank you Kim!

Kelty was great from start to finish. She was a pleasure to meet and Squishy and Storm were so calm with her. They could get a little excited around new people. She sent us pictures and kept communicated with us. We can’t thank her enough for helping us out even though we reached out to her on short notice.

Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Evesham Township walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Evesham Township maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Evesham Township choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
