We still miss having a dog around and would love the opportunity to welcome your pup into our home and give them all the love and attention we'd give our own. ❤️🐾 We currently have no pets and only accept one dog at a time, which means your dog gets to be the center of attention while they're here! Our two school-aged kids absolutely love dogs and are excited to be involved with age-appropriate things like supervised play, filling water bowls, and joining us for walks. Mom and Dad are always the primary caregivers and responsible for all aspects of your dog's care and safety. Having been dog owners ourselves, we understand that every dog has their own personality, routine, and little quirks. We're happy to follow your dog's normal schedule as closely as possible, including feeding, walks, potty breaks, favorite toys, sleeping arrangements, and whatever helps them feel comfortable and at home. We also know how much trust it takes to leave your dog in someone else's care. You can expect plenty of photos and updates so you can relax knowing your pup is safe, happy, and getting lots of affection. Because we have children, we only accept dogs who are friendly and comfortable around kids, reliably house-trained, and have no history of aggression. Whenever possible, we'd also love to do a quick meet-and-greet or video intro before your dog's first stay to make sure we're a great fit for one another. We want you to enjoy your time away without worrying, and for your dog to feel like they're part of our family while they're here. ❤️🐶 I work from home every day, so having a pup here fits naturally into our daily routine and means they'll have plenty of company, attention, and love throughout the day. I can easily accommodate potty breaks, playtime, snuggles, and walks around my work schedule, and they'll have someone nearby for most of the day. When the kids get home from school/camp, there are two more very enthusiastic dog lovers ready to give them even more attention! We're happy to follow your dog's normal feeding, walking, potty, and sleep schedule as closely as possible so their stay feels comfortable and familiar. We currently have no pets of our own and only accept one dog at a time, so your pup gets lots of individual attention and won't need to adjust to unfamiliar resident animals. We know how reassuring it is to actually see that your dog is happy and doing well while you’re away. During each stay, we’ll send you plenty of photos and videos so you can see how your dog is settling in and enjoying their time with us. We’ll also keep you updated on the important parts of their day, including meals, walks, potty breaks, playtime and medications when applicable. We want you to be able to relax and enjoy your time away knowing your dog is happy, comfortable, and receiving the same loving care you’d want for them at home.

“Bow-WOW! Miss Luna stayed with Michelle for a few days, and had the time of her life! Michelle took excellent care of Luna, and I knew I could trust Michelle to keep up with her medication schedule and special diet. Michelle even sent check-in photos and a video unsolicitedly, and demonstrated how all the dogs were calm and happy in her presence. The dogs have a large fully fenced yard to play in, and peaceful surroundings. When I picked Luna up, she was clean and very happy. 10/10, highly recommend! We will be back! 🐕 🐾”

About: Pet owner, pet lover! I have been sitting for friends and family since I was a teen. I also grew up around large dogs. I adopted a staffy mix in 2014 and we had 9 great years together before she passed. I’m not ready to adopt again, so until then, I’d like to help others. I’ve also had a few cats in the past and currently have 2! They are both tolerant of dogs and if they are uncomfortable, they will typically leave the room. My friends will bring their dogs when they visit me and my cats do well. I don’t have a yard per se but there is a lot of open space for frequent walks/potty breaks. My apartment complex is very pet-friendly. I am on the 2nd floor, so there are 2 sets of steps that may make it hard for older dogs. I often do overnights and stay with pets in their own home to maximize their comfort and keep their routines intact. I’m flexible based on your individual needs. One of my interests is in animal behavior. I have read many books (my favorites are from Patricia B. McConnell) My philosophy is we are training everyday. Consistency is important to me and for them, so I will ask many questions during the meet and greet stage to understand their needs and know how to best support you both. I look forward to meeting you both! My schedule is determined by the pets in my care and their schedules. I am currently freelance with WFH tasks and gig work and schedule my other jobs around my pet care calendar. I live in a pet-friendly apartment complex with lots of open space to walk. With me, your pup will have 24/7 one-on-one attention. They are allowed on the furniture and will always be supervised. I also have room to set up a crate if they are crate-trained but most of the time they will play and hangout where I am. I have 2 cats that do well with dogs. The cat food is raised off the floor and litter boxes are located in the main living space and are scooped immediately.

“Nyema took really good care of my furry buddy Corky for a whole week. We did a meet and greet before my scheduled trip. Each day while I was away she sent a picture for me to see he was ok. She was even concerned that he wasn’t drinking any water or eating much the first couple days. After a couple days he adjusted and started to drink and show her his fun personality. He interacted with little ones too and played with them. I was in another state working but was never worried about him being away from me for so many days. I picked him up and he was happy. About: I have taken care of pets my whole life so I can take care of puppies to elderly dogs. Most dogs love me and want to come play and pet. I also have a 2.5yr old son who absolutely LOVES dogs. We are happy to take care of dogs with special needs or is on mediations. We had a cat that just recently passed away and she would have been 19yrs old this year. She had asthma and we had to give her an inhaler 2x a day for 10 years. Happy to help your family with any special needs. We will love them like our own while you are away. I currently run my own business and work from home. I have a very flexible schedule so I can fairly easily adopt to your needs and help out wherever I can. I have a nice size home so your dog will have lots of free range all over the house. I live in a very pet friendly community so there are a ton of dogs around and a nice place to go walking the dog.

“We had been looking for a Rover sitter who we can leave our 6 year old “designer-bred” Schnoodle Archie and have piece of mind. We were booked for a 7-day Princess cruise and we were prepared to cancel our vacation if we can find someone that are completely comfortable with. Luckily, we found Stephanie Anne at the last minute. The meet and greet showed us how selective she was to make sure Archie will adjusts and will get alone with the select group of small dogs with her. She let out just one dog at a time and observed the chemistry with our Archie. There were about 6 small dogs - Stephanie Anne told us their unique personalities. She is clearly has the experience we are looking for. During our 7-day vacation, Stephanie Anne sent daily written updates, stories and many photos that captured the special moments of that day. Stephanie Anne met and exceeded our expectations - Archie was safe, met and enjoyed new friends, and Stephanie Anne carried out all our instructions. We finally found Archie a vacation home away from home. Highly recommended. Will will re-book for our next vacation in December.”
