I’ve cared for dogs, cats, rabbits, and guinea pigs — including seniors, shy animals, and those with special needs. I also have experience training puppies, helping them learn basic commands, build confidence, and start good habits early. As an active person who enjoys walking and hiking, your dog will get plenty of exercise and outdoor enrichment. About: I've been a dependable care provider for many dogs in the past few years and really love what I do! Dog boarding is one of my main services and your pooch will be very tended to between myself and my roommate! I'm currently working part time so I have plenty of time to care for your pets! 90% of the time while I am at work, my (also experienced dogsitter) boyfriend is home. With enough advanced notice I can be sure your dog is not left alone at all if needed, though if not otherwise specified depending on my schedule they may be alone up to 3 hours at a time. I am great at reading animal behavior and making sure your pet is comfortable. I also make sure to adhere to your guidelines carefully when caring for your pet. I'm experienced with animals who have separation anxiety and issues eating when in a new environment so you can rest assured they are as comfortable as possible!

About: I've grown up with cats and have helped or fully taken care of them since I was 8. I currently have 3 cats (ages 2, 2, and 3) which I feed, clean the water bowl, and solely sift/clean/change the litter boxes. I also have an almost 5 year old ball python who I've solely taken care of since he was 2 months old. Currently job-hunting, so besides taking care of my own pets I will be able to fit a lot into my schedule! I will also be more flexible. At home I both keep things locked up and away that I do not want the cats getting into, and keep an eye out for whatever they may find. I also sift 2-3 times daily, and change litter boxes weekly. My ball python's tank gets emptied and cleaned every other week. My cats and snake have never and will never directly interact with each other. However I will carry my snake around to let him explore as much as is safe.

About: Animals have always been a part of my life and family. I find a lot of joy in caring for them and appreciate the reciprocal relationship that develops with them over time. No matter what mood I’m in, my interactions with animals often leave me in a positive state of mind. I work full time, Mon-Fri from 8-4:30. Any time outside of this I am happy to work doing sitting or walking, and I’m open to staying overnight. I can be somewhat flexible with your needs. I am looking to supplement my income, but also just really enjoy having animals in my life and can’t have them in my own home. My landlord does not permit animals in the building, so I would have to come where your animals are. I can either walk a dog from your home, stop by for feedings , or house-sit as needed.

About: I’ve taken care of all kinds of animals for most my life. Pets have become my passion. I can administer medicine, give as many potty breaks as needed and give them all my attention and love. I do work full time at a pet store so if your booking is for the weekend I will either be able to check in frequently or even bring them with me to work. Whatever you prefer. I’ll have Sunday and Monday off and will be at your pets side 100% of those days. I have a unique set up for my home. I have no yard but the world will be your pets oyster. I can walk them or sit at a secluded park or take them to the beach. If they are not so active I can slow it down for them and whatever they need.

About: I’m a longtime Humboldt community member (28 years), avid cyclist, and lifetime animal lover. I currently have one shelter rescue cat, Batty, who I fell in love with at the Humboldt Animal Rescue Team (HART) shelter where I volunteer every week. I have taken in many stray or abandoned dogs and cats over the course of my lifetime; always getting them their shots and a vet exam, followed up with spay/neutering, and regular vet care.
