About: I take care of many dogs and have had them at my house or stay at their owner’s house. Either way I am very comfortable with. I am currently not working and have lots of love and time for your fur babies. Dogs bring me a lot of joy. I also really love walking so I can exercise your dogs anytime. I have a fenced yard and lots of space for animals. I also have a corral if the dog needs to be locked us at night.

About: I have 1 dog and 2 cats. I work in Arcata M-f 8-4 with open weekend availability. My husband will watch our furbabies while I give yours my undivided attention! I am well versed in medication and dietary restrictions as my dogs have had a variety of allergy related problems I've had to solve and also am good with leash training as my younger dog is very excitable and too happy (strong) so he has had to learn some leash manners. I look forward to hearing from you and your pets! Weekend availability unless it is the holidays and then I am typically available all the time as we rarely travel and often get work off. Fenced yard with friendly cats and dog, reliable transportation to your home, I also have lots of knowledge in exotic pets and birds as well.

“Heather is a great pet sitter and I trust her staying in my house while I am gone. I am usually very weary of having people stay at my house, let alone being the person solely responsible for my pet's well being. Heather is very communicative and send lots of pictures of your pets. During the big earthquake we had here, she wasn't staying at the home, but just doing drop-ins, but she went over to my home at 3 am to check on the pups and assess any damage to my home. I will continue to use Heather because she is a trustworthy, compassionate, and caring person.”

“I requested services from Amy to walk my dog Penny while I was out of town. Although I was unable to meet her in person, Amy exceeded my expectations. I was a little apprehensive about someone else walking my dog because she is still a young lab in training, Amy understood my concerns and made me feel comfortable with her services. On the days Amy would take Penny out, she constantly sent me updates with photos and videos of Penny playing with other dogs. Penny was also very well behaved with Amy, which was my concern, and that she listened to Amy. When penny was dropped off at my parents house, my mom would tell me how exhausted Penny would come home after a day with Amy and how well behaved she was after the walks. Overall, I’m very happy that I picked Amy and would definitely consider asking her again for her services again. She’s awesome!”

About: Hi, I'm Gretta! I have had pets in my home my entire life, dogs, cats, parrots, cows, sheep, and even a turkey or two. I have also worked as a licensed childcare provider in my house. I know little people are not the same as pets but caring for the needs of others (two or four-legged) is a part of who I am. I'm an empty nester and have recently lost my dog to old age. Instead of replacing my Lola, I would love the opportunity to care for your precious pup while you are away. I will only care for the dogs from one family at a time to ensure your pet gets the best care I can provide. Kind of like a grandma for your furbabies! I live in a neighborhood that is safe for walks, and my yard is fully fenced. I am available for walks, check-ins, and daycare. I will consider overnight boarding on a family by family basis. About: I became a first time pet parent three years ago and have sat for my friends whenever needed. I love animals and my friends jokingly refer to me as the animal whisperer. I love my dogs like they are my children and I will love your pets the same. I am currently a full time student, so I am available pretty much every day except for a few hours on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. I will definitely spoil your pet with love and affection. Whatever your schedule is with your fur baby I will keep unless you give me free range on what to do or give to your pet. I know some pretty nice pet friendly parks that I would love to take your pet to or we can just go for a walk around the neighborhood.
