About: Life long dog owner trainer and dog activities enthusiast. Have had dogs my whole life and now find myself dog free and happy to pitch in taking care of yours!! Physically fit, motivated and conscientious. I am comfortable administering meds and caring for geriatric dogs or those with special health needs (I've managed both cancer and seizures in canines.) I presently have two cats and am happy to pop in on your kitties too, for litter box duties, fresh food , water, cuddles (if they want) and treats! Sober and semi retired. Currently I attend classes at CR part time in pursuit of a studio art/fine art associates degree, and I work independently so my schedule is super flexible. I'm motivated and trustworthy. I understand the physical needs of pet care and am excited to get your doggies out for a little walk, or check in on and care for your pets in their familiar surroundings when your out of town. About: Hello! I am a recent college graduate looking for a side hustle, and am an avid animal lover! I have over 10 years of hands-on experience caring for both dogs and cats of all ages, sizes, and personalities. I currently live on a farm where I have become knowledgeable in caring for a variety of animals and how to be attentive to individual animal needs. Growing up surrounded by all kinds of pets has taught me the importance of patience, consistency, and compassion, and I treat every animal as if they were my own. I am responsible and strive to provide a safe, loving, and calm environment so you can feel confident your pets are happy and well cared for while you’re away! I currently work part-time at an online job. My online job allows me to set my own hours, so I am very flexible and will be available most days of the week. I am unable to bring pets to my own home but am more than willing to drive to your home to take care of your pet! At your home I will make sure to provide your pet with plenty of love and attention, and I will be responsible about tending to your pets needs!

About: I owned dogs for about ten years and started walking and watching other peoples’ dogs about 6 years ago. I have also walked and fostered dogs through Sequoia Humane Society.I have provided walking, boarding, house sitting, and some cat care. I love taking dogs out on hikes and staying active. I work full time but can provide walks during the mornings before noon on the weekdays. I can provide overnight care and house sitting on weekends. I have a fenced yard at home. We have one friendly dog at home. I am always very careful and considerate when caring for other people’s pets and homes.

About: I have had cats and dogs for my whole life, and currently have three cats, and a giant breed dog who I have trained since he was a puppy. About: I started a self made rehabilitation center in my parents back yard (age 14) specializing in rehabilitating and rehoming exotic birds. As most kids I’ve taken care of chickens, rodents, and of course I’ve owned cats and dogs my entire life. A few years ago I started pet sitting for family and friends. I’m from the Sierra Nevada foothills, currently in Humboldt. I have very open availability. I have no problem spending nights, or doing drop in visits. Feel free to ask me questions or concerns you may have and I’ll do my best to answer them for you. Here are a few details to describe the care I give my animals and the care I can provide for yours. I offer dog walking for 30 minutes or an hour every day of the week for Eureka residents. Along with drop in visits as well. I also offer over night service in your home for the comfort of your pet/pets. I usually travel no farther than Fortuna to McKinleyville, but will consider traveling further for a small price raise in services. I live a very active lifestyle. My day usually starts about 5 AM and goes till about 11 PM. So I will be able to give your pet/pets my absolute attention and care. I currently work 10 to 8 five days a week. With working out of town I will be gone between those hours.

About: I am a former dog trainer at Dog Gone Amazing training and boarding in Reno Nv for the past 4 and half years. I moved to Eureka to have a new start and would love to continue to work with animals. I’ve worked with many different breeds and many different temperaments. I currently have two dogs of my own and a cat as well. I’ve grown up with all sorts of animals, such a horses, chickens, sled dogs and cats. I would love to continue working with new pets and their owners! I currently have 2 dogs and a cat. I’ve also worked as a kennel tech at a boarding/training facility and then moved on to become a trainer at that same facility. I always recommend crates for any situation but in my own home I would crate all dogs and rotate based on how they all get along. Feeding in the crate or separate from other animals. Daily walks or hikes depending on the animal. Cats would get daily enrichment. If weather doesn’t permit or the animal isn’t able to get that day I’d offer mental enrichment such as lick mats, food puzzles, play, training, etc.

If you need extra ideas for how to enrich your pet’s life, I am happy to come up with creative ideas with you.
