About: I have 5 outdoor cats and had 1 dog, who recently passed away due to a brain tumor. I am full of love for animals, but I am not ready to take on another pet full time. Instead, I would love to help my neighbors provide care for their pets! Miko was a very special dog, that required tons of walks & taught me a LOT about animal behavior and communication. Through my love and training for him, I was able to spend a lot of time doing what is most important to me: spending time in nature, bonding, teaching and loving animals. They give me such purpose, and I want to spend each and everyday around them. I work full-time, from home, in the tech industry and have a very flexible schedule. Due to my home being empty, it's a safe place for pets to stay or I can travel easily. I currently work full time Monday - Thursday from my computer and have a very flexible schedule. I can work anywhere with good wifi, can take a lot of breaks to do walks & potty time. I don't have a fenced yard so your dog would be on leash outside at my house. I live in a very quiet area, so it's great for reactive dogs if they need a more quiet place to be. I am able to crate train you dog as you wish, and teach them simple commands if that is something you desire. I'm very flexible and will follow your instructions.
7. Zalie P.
“This was our first time using a pet sitter and Zalie was awesome. We have two dogs, one is nervous around people and she was very cautious of her space. It was piece of mind knowing our dogs were in good care. She was very attentive and active in checking in and the overall process. We definitely recommend Zalie and we look forward to having her for future visits.”

About: I started a self made rehabilitation center in my parents back yard (age 14) specializing in rehabilitating and rehoming exotic birds. As most kids I’ve taken care of chickens, rodents, and of course I’ve owned cats and dogs my entire life. A few years ago I started pet sitting for family and friends. I’m from the Sierra Nevada foothills, currently in Humboldt. I have very open availability. I have no problem spending nights, or doing drop in visits. Feel free to ask me questions or concerns you may have and I’ll do my best to answer them for you. Here are a few details to describe the care I give my animals and the care I can provide for yours. I offer dog walking for 30 minutes or an hour every day of the week for Eureka residents. Along with drop in visits as well. I also offer over night service in your home for the comfort of your pet/pets. I usually travel no farther than Fortuna to McKinleyville, but will consider traveling further for a small price raise in services. I live a very active lifestyle. My day usually starts about 5 AM and goes till about 11 PM. So I will be able to give your pet/pets my absolute attention and care. I currently work 10 to 8 five days a week. With working out of town I will be gone between those hours.
9. Alannah G.
“Andrew is wonderful with my dogs and cats has taken care of them numerous times while I've been away , always spends extra time giving them lots of love and affection , my pets are always happy to see him. Would recommend 100%”
10. Sean E.
About: As a Great Pyrenees owner and animal lover, animal safety is a top priority. I have been caring for animals since I was 10 years old and it is something I plan on doing for the rest of my life! I am currently very available and have a flexible schedule due to all of my classes being online this semester. I’m happy to set up meet and greets beforehand to get to know your pooch 🐶 I have worked with animal shelters and dog boarding facilities alike to improve upon my animal caretaking skills. This has provided me with a strong foundation as I continue to learn more and more everyday!
11. Maria S.
“Maria is the best! We booked with her last minute because it ended up being way too hot for the pups where we were camping and I’m so glad Maria was available. She made sure our two crazy dogs were happy, ran and fed all weekend and sent me updates throughout their visits. Highly recommend!!”
12. Kylie C.
About: I started my first dog walking buisness at 10 years old and was only charging my neighbors 10 cents a walk 🤣 obviously since then I have grown and I have spent most of my time around animals. I used to be a professional equestrian and have been taking care of and around horses since I was 6! I've done 4H and i have a little bangle kitty of my own! I would love to work with your availability! I am completely available for overnights and I have a flexible schedule during the day as well! For boarding in house I currently live in a RV on a beautiful property with a river behind it with my kitty oscar. There is a main house where we train and raise dogs! So if your open to that then pet boarding with me would be great for you! I specialize more in overnight stays or pop in visits in my client homes, I understand the stress of worrying about your pets while your away, so I ALWAYS make sure to create a safe and clean environment for pets and YOU when you come home! That way you ALWAYS know everything is being taken care of FOR YOU and your furry friends:)
13. Asher D.
“We have had Asher watch our very sweet, needy kitty. She loves people and constant companionship. Asher is so gentle and attentive with her. We have a camera (sorry Asher) …and we were so pleased at how he gave her all the attention she craves! He was good at texting us if he had any questions. And of course we loved our FaceTimes and videos! He is a cat whisperer”
14. Cheyenne O.
“So happy! I’ve come home to happy, healthy, better behaved dogs! Great communication! I loved the photos and video updates! Definitely recommend! Two thumbs up! All 3 dogs are happy and in great moods; and my anxiety is at an all time low!! Would definitely recommend and hopefully work with in the future! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!”

About: I take care of many dogs and have had them at my house or stay at their owner’s house. Either way I am very comfortable with all sorts of animals. I have taken care of goats to bunnies, dogs in diapers and some in wheelchairs with love and expertise and compassion. I am currently not working and have lots of love and time for your fur babies. Dogs bring me a lot of joy. I also really love walking so I can exercise your dogs anytime. I have a fenced yard and lots of space for animals. I also have a corral if the dog needs to be locked us at night.
16. Joel G.
“Joel has watched my dog several times while i was on vacation. He is trustworthy and a dog person. My dog loves him. Joel will make sure your dog has fun and is safe.”
17. Elaine B.
“I have known Elaine for 35 years, during which time she has always been a total pet-lover and has always had at least one dog and/or one cat. She derives her skills at pet-care not only from this expansive experience with pets, but also, as a long-time RN (now retired), from her care and concern for two-legged creatures as well! She is perfectly suited for this role!”
18. Madison B.
“Mady is very patient and loving towards my dog and always puts my dog’s needs before anything else. She absolutely loves my dog and I highly recommend you consider her to take care of your pets!”

Im a recent college graduate working part time, so I have a very flexible schedule! I can work most days of the week and am available mornings through nights.
