About: I have always been an animal lover since childhood and have taken care of a variety of pets of all sizes! I've helped raise puppies, taken care of senior dogs, and helped train good walking, bathing, and bathroom habits. Most animals respond very well to me. Also being a bigger person I have no trouble dealing with larger dogs. Very experienced in all areas of pet care. I am a college student at College of the Redwoods pursuing my degree in Social Work. I have a free summer and would love to spend time with your pets! Weekends or evenings are not a problem for house sitting. I love to spend my time with animals giving them quality care and attention. I am more than happy to watch your pets while you are away on vacation or gone for the day. I can do drop bys or overnights depending on your preference and your animals needs. I have a large fenced yard that is great for dogs if you need doggy daycare. I have reliable transportation to get to and from. I can take them on walks in your neighborhood or go to a local dog park if you prefer. Very open to working with what is best for your animal. I have my own dogs at home but will leave them with my sister while caring for your animal(s) unless you would like the socializing. We have two friendly larger male dogs that love to meet new dogs if you are interested in doggy day care. Our home has a large size dog door for pets to access the house at their convenience.

About: I started my first dog walking buisness at 10 years old and was only charging my neighbors 10 cents a walk 🤣 obviously since then I have grown and I have spent most of my time around animals. About: I've owned dogs and helped in their care since I was young. I've pet sat for friends and neighbors as well. My current dog has been trained by me to be a service dog, so I'm good with puppy training, as well as patience. I also take care of our elderly pugs grooming needs, such as nail trimming and coat brushing. I am currently at home often, so I'll have plenty of time to take care of your pet. I'll be able to make many runs over to check on your pet, or be able to stay with little to get in the way. If there ever is anything in the way, I will always be straight forward and communicate. I have a fenced in backyard and 3 dogs who are all very friendly. I never leave them alone and will always have an eye on them, so nothing goes wrong. I'm able to dog proof areas that may have problems, and keep anything dangerous well put of reach. I'm also able to have secure spaces incase dogs need to destimulate away from others. They will never be left alone unless I'm strictly given instruction.

About: I am a former dog trainer at Dog Gone Amazing training and boarding in Reno Nv for the past 4 and half years. I moved to Eureka to have a new start and would love to continue to work with animals. I’ve worked with many different breeds and many different temperaments. I currently have two dogs of my own and a cat as well. I’ve grown up with all sorts of animals, such a horses, chickens, sled dogs and cats. I would love to continue working with new pets and their owners! I currently have 2 dogs and a cat. I’ve also worked as a kennel tech at a boarding/training facility and then moved on to become a trainer at that same facility. I always recommend crates for any situation but in my own home I would crate all dogs and rotate based on how they all get along. Feeding in the crate or separate from other animals. Daily walks or hikes depending on the animal. Cats would get daily enrichment. If weather doesn’t permit or the animal isn’t able to get that day I’d offer mental enrichment such as lick mats, food puzzles, play, training, etc.

I have 10+ years experience in the veterinary field and a lifetime of experience loving and caring for animals. I do work during the day on some weekdays and Saturdays so I would only be able to do morning and evening drop ins for 4 days out of the week and can spend nights for house sitting. I am available all day on Sundays and 2 other days of the week. I am unable to do dog boarding at home as our cat has some medical issues and I do not want to stress him out. I look forward to meeting and caring for your pet! In the client's home, I will always be respectful and courteous of both the home and the pet. I live in an apartment with my 35 pound wonder mutt named Puck, and we're not allowed to have any animal guests, but I am more than willing to come to your place and follow your rules. Puck can also be left with a sitter if his presence would be an issue. I follow your directions and I care for your pets and your home as instructed. I am a fairly fastidious person. I believe in returning your place and your pets to you in at least as good a condition as I find them.

Many folks on this platform will get your dog out for a "walk" and barely cover half a mile in the whole 30 minutes-- not me! I will make sure the needs of your dog are met, whatever they may be. I will maximize the booking for exercise, engagement, potty/food needs, and love. Your dog will look forward to our visits! I have worked closely with dogs in a variety of capacities- sled dogs, detection dogs, foster dogs, you name it! They are what I'm passionate about and providing quality care is my utmost priority. I work from home and have a highly flexible schedule, so I will always be available to tend to the needs of your pet(s). I put the needs of the animals I care for above all else. With any booking- you will get updates at least once a day, with photos and an update of how much fun your pet is having! In addition to Rover's offerings, I offer pack excursions! For an excursion, your pet will be picked up, taken on a hike/run/walk of 2-6 miles, as appropriate. I offer these as pack walks, so it's likely your dog will be with at least one other pup. Meet and greets are essential before booking due to this. Walks are adjusted to meet the needs of the dogs in the pack, and packs are put together based on similar needs. After 2-4 hours, depending on the excursion, your dog will be returned home toweled off and tired! Training can be arranged for dogs with either 3+ day long stays, or repeat day care/walkers. I specialize in "problem" behaviors, such as separation anxiety, destruction, shyness, etc. and would love to work with you and your pet on such issues. I make my own dog treats and enjoy sharing them with the pets I look after, if allowed by the owner. I also do pet-friendly cakes, so let me know if you have a special event coming up! I currently have a highly flexible schedule. Dog care is already integrated into my every day life. Literally- it's almost my entire life! Reach out and let's see if I can provide what you need!
