Physically fit, motivated and conscientious. I am comfortable administering meds and caring for geriatric dogs or those with special health needs (I've managed both cancer and seizures in canines.) I presently have two cats and am happy to pop in on your kitties too, for litter box duties, fresh food , water, cuddles (if they want) and treats! Sober and semi retired. About: I have always been an animal lover since childhood and have taken care of a variety of pets of all sizes! I've helped raise puppies, taken care of senior dogs, and helped train good walking, bathing, and bathroom habits. Most animals respond very well to me. Also being a bigger person I have no trouble dealing with larger dogs. Very experienced in all areas of pet care. I am a college student at College of the redwoods pursuing my degree in early childhood education. I'm only in class Monday and Wednesday until 1 so I have a lot of availability through the week. Weekends or evenings are not a problem for house sitting. Drop by mid-day walks anytime I'm available! I love to spend my time with animals giving them quality care and attention. I am more than happy to watch your pets while you are away on vacation or gone for the day. I can do drop bys or overnights depending on your preference and your animals needs. I have a large fenced yard that is great for animals if you need boarding. I have reliable transportation to get to and from. I can take them on walks in your neighborhood or go to a local dog park if you prefer. Very open to working with what is best for your animal. I have my own dogs at home but will leave them there while caring for your animal(s) unless you would like the socializing. We have two friendly larger male dogs that love to meet new dogs if you are interested in doggy day care or boarding. Our home has a large size dog door for pets to access the house at their convenience.

About: I've owned dogs and helped in their care since I was young. I've pet sat for friends and neighbors as well. My current dog has been trained by me to be a service dog, so I'm good with puppy training, as well as patience. They will never be left alone unless I'm strictly given instruction.

About: I started a self made rehabilitation center in my parents back yard (age 14) specializing in rehabilitating and rehoming exotic birds. As most kids I’ve taken care of chickens, rodents, and of course I’ve owned cats and dogs my entire life. A few years ago I started pet sitting for family and friends. I’m from the Sierra Nevada foothills, currently in Humboldt. I have very open availability. I have no problem spending nights, or doing drop in visits. Feel free to ask me questions or concerns you may have and I’ll do my best to answer them for you. Here are a few details to describe the care I give my animals and the care I can provide for yours. I offer dog walking for 30 minutes or an hour every day of the week for Eureka residents. Along with drop in visits as well. I also offer over night service in your home for the comfort of your pet/pets. I usually travel no farther than Fortuna to McKinleyville, but will consider traveling further for a small price raise in services. I live a very active lifestyle. My day usually starts about 5 AM and goes till about 11 PM. So I will be able to give your pet/pets my absolute attention and care. I currently work 10 to 8 five days a week. With working out of town I will be gone between those hours.

I’m happy to specialize each experience for max comfort for your pup. I have a remote job and am flexible with scheduling around your pups needs. There are times when I am unavailable but I will always have any walks, visits or day cares scheduled accordingly . I have a corgi mix of my own that goes on walks and potty breaks at a regular schedule. I have a fenced yard and a friendly corgi mix to keep any pups company. I do not have a crate but if provide one I have no problem if that is better for your pup.

I have also walked and fostered dogs through Sequoia Humane Society.I have provided walking, boarding, house sitting, and some cat care. I love taking dogs out on hikes and staying active. About: I've always felt proud of my ability to get along with all kinds of creatures. Growing up, I was the kid who would petsit for all my friends' families. Nowadays, I'm the proud mama of a spunky Chihuahua, a beautiful tuxedo kitty, and a quirky bearded dragon. I work from home with a flexible schedule. I'd love to have an extra reason to get out of the house. Plus, walking is my favorite way to exercise. Just like us humans, no two dogs or cats are the same. I also have three cats, plus a family of friendly strays who live in the back yard. I have cared for dogs and cats my whole life and will do a great job of pet sitting and dog walking.
