“Krissi knows her dogs! She handled our wayward pup and mellow mature dog equally well and kept them happy and well cared for. She pays attention to detail and keeps them in line as needed in the most thoughtful of ways. This is a big luxury for us to board the dogs, but we would be glad to do it again with her. “What a great experience! We have an 8 month old, high energy Labrador that is my husbands baby! Not so much mine, so when he has to leave her with me I panic. Trying to care for an 80 yr old frail mother and watch her is more than I can handle. Found Rover.com and Sonja and what a relief. She loved her like family, lots of room to run on the mountain. Sonja took her to the beach with her playful dog twice…wore her out! Yay! Sent lots of photos, some videos and kept in good contact. Picked Baylee up and she slept the 2 1/2 drive home! I’ve had and fostered high intensity breeds and worked through many issues with positive reinforcement training. I’m available for pet sitting, boarding, and training including basic obedience. I’ve done significant training with dogs including reactivity and nose work. Taking care of your furry companion/s is my top priority, having fostered several dogs I know what it takes to help them feel safe and relaxed as possible while they are away from you. I’m experienced with medical needs like giving medication and caring for wounds. I’ve had the honor of being with several of my own dogs through end of life and supporting a wide array of medical issues. My dog Ultra Violet is a very gentle, well trained, sweetie pie 3yo Dutch shepherd who gets along with other dogs of all kinds and sizes and would be most happy to have the company of yours. We typically get out 3-4 times a day for walks, potty breaks and adventures. Depending on your dog’s activity level we also go running or can do shorter walks or use the dog run at our place. We have plenty of space for dogs to run free outside if they are not prone to running away, otherwise leash walks around our acreage or nearby trails! At my place dogs are allowed on the furniture and beds, but if this is not appropriate for your bud we can make sure your preferred rules are upheld. Enjoy yourself while knowing your friend and family member is safe and having a grand time with me and UV! Work from home flexibility to accommodate your needs. My schedule is typically morning, noon, afternoon and evening walks. I love getting outdoors with my dog! I own my home, it is spacious, clean and danger free for fur babies, with access to the great outdoors. There are no other animals besides my dog. Animals are our teachers. I adore animals of all kinds with extra fondness of dogs of course! My mission is to provide as much love, kindness, and confidence boosting to the dogs I care for as possible. I love learning how each one communicates, watching them light up and sharing in their joy. I’m experienced in administering medications, and taking care of Doggos from puppies to seniors.
