About: Hi there! My name is Jessie, and I’m a dedicated and reliable dog sitter with a true passion for animals. I have years of experience caring for dogs of all breeds, ages, and temperaments, and I treat every pup like they’re part of the family. One of the unique things I offer is space—lots of it! I live on a beautiful 2-acre property where dogs can run, play, and explore in a safe, secure environment. We even have a dog-friendly jungle gym for pups who love to climb, jump, and engage their playful side. Whether your dog is high-energy or just enjoys lounging in the sun, there’s something here for everyone. I’m comfortable with special diets, medications, and senior dog care, and I always make sure to stick to your dog’s routine to keep them feeling safe and comfortable. I currently work from home, I will not schedule appointments if I can’t be on site with your fur babies. Fur children are my priority. I’m a proud dog mom to a very spoiled Corgi boy who absolutely runs the show in our home! He enjoys all the luxuries—daily playtime, plenty of snuggles, cozy naps on the couch (or my bed!), and more treats than he probably should have. He’s not just a pet—he’s family, and he knows it. That same level of love and attention is exactly what I offer to the dogs I care for. Whether your pup needs a consistent routine, extra cuddles, or just someone who truly gets how special they are, I’ll make sure they feel right at home—just like my own spoiled guy!

About: Friends call my home a dog retreat and relaxation center. It's a quiet, country setting with room to run, plenty to explore, and comfortable lounging. I've been fostering dogs and puppies with Redwood Pals Rescue for years and am a vetted volunteer with the Humboldt County Animal Shelter. I'm happy to send you photos or videos of how your dog's doing and feel free to call for updates anytime. I work from home most of the time. Dogs seem to love the country routine. I live in rurally, in Southern Humboldt but can meet for drop-offs and pick-ups in the Redway/Garberville area or the Arcata/Eureka/McKinleyville area or anywhere in between. I have a large fenced yard, dog doors to come in and out of the house, and different areas to keep dogs separate, if needed. I usually keep new dogs separated from mine till they get to know each other and show that they like each other. I also have baby gates and can use dog crates inside if needed. I have hosted a lot of foster dogs and puppies for the Rescue and retreats for dogs from the Animal Shelter and have participated in numerous trainings with professional animal trainers and behaviorists. I know when I have to be away from my dogs that they need a kind person to hang out with, some fun, and a comfortable place to hangout till I can come back for them.

We typically get out 3-4 times a day for walks, potty breaks and adventures. Depending on your dog’s activity level we also go running or can do shorter walks or use the dog run at our place. We have plenty of space for dogs to run free outside if they are not prone to running away, otherwise leash walks and nearby trails! At my place dogs are allowed on the furniture and beds, but if this is not appropriate for your bud we can make sure your preferred rules are upheld. My doggie schedule is typically morning, noon, afternoon and evening walks and/or potty breaks. I love getting outdoors with my dog! Spacious, clean and danger free home away from home. Access to the great outdoors! There are no other animals besides my dog. Animals are our teachers. I adore animals of all kinds with extra fondness of dogs of course!
