About: Growing up with dogs, cats, horses, turtles, and fish gave me the right mindset to make responsible decisions when I started pet sitting professionally over 20 years ago. Over the course of my extensive experience, I’ve had the pleasure of caring for many other pets and taking care of their homes as well. I have experience with reptiles, amphibians, birds as well as small mammals like rabbits and rodents. I’m comfortable administering medications and am accountable to keep to any routines/rules/training guidelines in place. I truly cherish how unique each and every animal is, and would love to connect with you and share the joy of knowing your pet! I am available for dog walking and/or drop in visits 7 days a week - for overnight sitting, I am currently open for the winter holidays! About: I love taking long walks in the woods, bike riding, and running with pups! If your dog needs a lil extra energy release, (or not) I'm your person. I have no other pets, and will give your dog the attention they deserve. I work in the evenings, so can walk from 10AM-4:00PM WED/THURS/FRI. I always walk anyway, or go for a run, so incorporating a furry friend seems perfect. I have a new(er) pickup truck, that has a plush dog bed in the back for your critter. Since graduating, I work full time at a local humane society. My work schedule typically has me away for 9 hours a day, which means I am unable to give more frequent care that puppies or elderly dogs may need. About: I grew up caring for large groups of cats of all ages and temperaments, understanding their behaviors. I also rescued many stray dogs and found them homes. I work in Arcata, and I'm a big fan of walks on the beaches of Trinidad and Samoa, as well as river walks. I carefully observe the flora and fauna, as I enjoy classifying plants. So the company of a dog is the perfect companion for these adventures I have dog leashes, tricks, and a spacious carrier (Ford Econoline van). I also have towels to clean them if they get dirty. About: I am graduating college in May and I love animals and I have house sat a variety of dogs and cats before, and have also taken care of a couple guinea pigs, a bearded dragon, and a pig before. I love to getting to know and taking care of pets! I have loved dogs all my life, my first word was dog! I have owned a dog my whole life and I currently have a dog named Buster who is a 10 year old Jack Russell chihuahua mix who likes to make me carry him while out on a walk. I would love to get the chance to hang out and play with some dogs! I became a first time cat owner in November of 2020 when a cat showed up in my yard. He showed up in a bit of a sorry state but with some visits to the vet, time, and care he has become a happy and playful member of my family. His name is Goosetofur Toast Man, or Goose for short, and I have enjoyed being a cat owner more than I could have imagined! I have been pet sitting since I was in high school and I have watched over 40 different pets. My availability is very open and flexible, I will be available for the majority of the day on most days this summer. I would need to potentially be out for a few hours at a time for things like meetings for a local camp I volunteer at or to run errands. I will enjoy spending time with your pet if they are active and want to go out on long walks or hikes, or if they are a bit of a couch potato I will have a great time curling up with them on the couch. I am observant and care deeply about the wellbeing of the pets I watch and make sure to notify and come up with a plan with owners if I notice any issues with a pet.

I'm currently a college student looking for both a part time job and some other ways to get money. My schedule is flexible and isn't subject to change anytime soon!
