About: I am a long time animal lover and have been working in pet care for over 25 years professionally. I have ample experience with dog walking and overnight pet sitting. I ran my own dog walking business as a sole proprietor for many years, and also have worked as an independent contractor for other dog walking & pet sitting companies. In the past, I've cared for many different animals of varying ages and breeds; from puppies and kittens to seniors. I have plenty of experience administering medication for animals who need it, whether it be ear/eye drops, pills, and insulin injections. I also have experience caring for small and furry (rabbits, hamsters, guinea pigs) as well as scaly (fish, snakes, turtles). My schedule is fairly flexible and I will accept bookings Mon-Sun from 8am to 5pm. I prefer to do an free consultation with your dog before you book your first walk. I do appreciate advance bookings, but will do my best to fit you in! Your pet is a member of your family, so it is important to me that your pal feels loved and cared for while you are away. I travel to you and I am not currently available for boarding in my home.

About: As a little girl my family and I believed I would become a veterinarian. Before I could walk there are pictures of me snuggling up with my first cat, Shiva. I remember by three, I had fully transitioned her from an outdoor (borderline feral) cat to my best friend. At seven, we got my very first dog. Maggie, a black, white, brown and very spoiled Welsh Corgi. My passion and admiration of animals never went away, it only developed into a curiosity. How can I be the best leader to my animals? Nowadays, I have a year old, beautiful (high energy) female Australian Shepherd who I absolutely adore. We are often found on the Hammond Trails by our house, College Cove, or hiking in the old growth forests. I have partially owned (family dogs) almost 10 dogs throughout my life, from Corgis to Bourbel, South African Mastiffs. Also so far, I have tamed 4 feral cats who enjoyed very nice lives. Overall, making animals safe, comfortable and happy is definitely part of what I am living for! :) I’m currently in college pursuing Health Sciences, majoring in Nursing. I still have a ton of free time. I am always able to make time to exercise my dog and I for a few hours daily. However, I do not take my dog with me while pet sitting or dog walking clients pets. My dog gets long walks 6-7 days a week, ranging from an hour to four hours per day. On rainy days, we play scent games indoors and do extra training. She is brushed weekly and groomed monthly. She has plenty of toys and gets healthy treats. I am very flexible, what you say goes. I am partial to more high energy dogs and clingy cats. However, I love short walks and snuggling up on the couch to watch movies too!

About: Animal lady here. I have four cats, five chickens, and a bearded dragon. I grew up with dogs as well. Two yorkies (brothers) and a schnauzer chow chow mix. I’ve had my fair share of bites and scratches, and am able to work with animals with some behavioral issues no problem. I am responsible and treat each animal as if it's my own. I'd be able to provide the best care, and not just care, but love and compassion as I know when pets are away from their owners, it could be a stressful time. I have reliable transportation and would be able to feed walk and clean up after pets. I’m also familiar with administering oral medications and topical medications. I have experience caring for animals with illnesses. As my previous dog had many breed related issues including diabetes. I also had a very sick cat I helped bring back from severe liver issues by syringe feeding and administering oral medications. I’ve house sat for friends with small animals and even snakes. I’ve cared for chickens before as well. I know animals sometimes have accidents in home as well and I have no problem cleaning up after them and cleaning the space. I have a pretty open schedule at the moment. I have a client on Fridays from 10:30am-1:30pm and Saturdays from 10:30am-2:30p. If you need services during any of these times, my current clients are flexible and always willing to work with me and move things around. I’d be able to care for pets in your home like it was my home. I also have clients I clean for, so a clean living space for people and pets important to me. One of my cats likes to try and eat anything he can get, non edible items especially, so I’m familiar with ‘baby proofing’ and keeping everything out of reach. I’m very aware of my surroundings and will keep a close eye on your pet. I don’t have social media and I’m not constantly distracted by my phone either. About: I am a 26 year old graduate student attending Cal Poly Humboldt. I have always loved animals from a very young age and have owned a variety of animals since I was a child that include; mice, snakes, hamsters, dogs, and cats. I also have experience dog-sitting and cat-sitting for extended periods of time. I love animals and am excited to meet your furry/non-furry family members. I have classes throughout the week but have a good amount of time in between them so I am able to pet-sit and dog walk with a pretty flexible schedule! About: I used to have my own dog walking/pet sitting business before moving for college for about 8 years. I love caring for pets and look forward to helping whoever out! I go to Cal Poly Humboldt State but only live 5 minutes away from school so besides my classes my schedule is pretty much completely free. I have a fenced in yard as well as a great roommate for more company for your pet. If you feel comfortable with your dog off leashed I also live right next to a large field for fetch:). About: I have been surrounded by animals for most of my life and I love to help them live their best lives! I studied pre-veterinary biology for two years, so I know about the science behind animals as well as understanding their basic care and needs. I am very good at matching the energy level of any animal and I have a special passion for exotic animals (but of course I love dogs and cats too!). I am experienced in giving medication and I do not shy away from cleaning up any and all messes that they may make. I am currently a student at Cal Poly Humboldt and I have a lot of breaks in my class schedule. For house sitting, I would only be out of the house for 2-4 hours at a time for classes on weekdays and would be able to stay all day on weekends. My schedule is also perfect for drop ins and potty breaks. I feel that I am a very easy person to work with and I will follow any and all guidelines or rules that you present to me. I will also help with house cleaning if you would like that, in addition to cleaning up after your pet(s).
