I am retired and have a flexible schedule to care for pets. I can work with you to find the best days, weeks, and time to care for your pets. I have a dog and cat and have a fenced yard. I am flexible on where to care for your pet, and in most cases it would be your home or nearby for walks.

About: I am a long time animal lover and have been working in pet care for over 25 years professionally. I have ample experience with dog walking and overnight pet sitting. I ran my own dog walking business as a sole proprietor for many years, and also have worked as an independent contractor for other dog walking & pet sitting companies. In the past, I've cared for many different animals of varying ages and breeds; from puppies and kittens to seniors. I have plenty of experience administering medication for animals who need it, whether it be ear/eye drops, pills, and insulin injections. I also have experience caring for small and furry (rabbits, hamsters, guinea pigs) as well as scaly (fish, snakes, turtles). I'm responsible, caring, and punctual, and I genuinely care about providing great service to you and your pet. I am looking forward to meeting your furry (or scaly) friend! My schedule is fairly flexible and I will accept bookings Mon-Sun from 8am to 5pm. I prefer to do an free consultation with your dog before you book your first walk. I do appreciate advance bookings, but will do my best to fit you in! Your pet is a member of your family, so it is important to me that your pal feels loved and cared for while you are away. I travel to you and I am not currently available for boarding in my home.

About: I’ve been taking care of pets ever since I was a young girl and knew my life would be dedicated to them. I then became a vet tech in 2018 and have loved being able to take care of them medically as well. I have gained so much knowledge of healthcare and husbandry ranging from puppies/kittens to seniors of all kinds of breeds and personalities to give your fur baby the best. I’m very familiar with most health conditions and comfortable with all medications(oral/injection) I am also responsive and prepared when health concerns or even emergencies come up. I have my own vet tech kit to treat minor injuries and illnesses but will always seek the appropriate medical care if necessary.I am also happy to provide basic grooming like bathing brushing and even nail trims ( all if they are comfortable with it) free of charge if requested. Your pet will be in the most excellent hands, I will always do everything in my power to keep them safe happy and healthy and I will love spending time with them. I am very professional reliable and you can rest easy knowing your pets are in my care and I will always keep you updated. I cannot wait to meet you and your pets as they will be treated like my own ( royal treatment for sure 👑) I’m just taking relief shifts as a vet tech currently and have a flexible schedule for pet sitting. I go to Cal Poly Humboldt State but only live 5 minutes away from school so besides my classes my schedule is pretty much completely free. About: As a little girl my family and I believed I would become a veterinarian. Before I could walk there are pictures of me snuggling up with my first cat, Shiva. I remember by three, I had fully transitioned her from an outdoor (borderline feral) cat to my best friend. At seven, we got my very first dog. Maggie, a black, white, brown and very spoiled Welsh Corgi. My passion and admiration of animals never went away, it only developed into a curiosity. How can I be the best leader to my animals? Nowadays, I have a year old, beautiful (high energy) female Australian Shepherd who I absolutely adore. We are often found on the Hammond Trails by our house, College Cove, or hiking in the old growth forests. I have partially owned (family dogs) almost 10 dogs throughout my life, from Corgis to Bourbel, South African Mastiffs. Also so far, I have tamed 4 feral cats who enjoyed very nice lives. Overall, making animals safe, comfortable and happy is definitely part of what I am living for! :) I’m currently in college pursuing Health Sciences, majoring in Nursing. I still have a ton of free time. I am always able to make time to exercise my dog and I for a few hours daily. However, I do not take my dog with me while pet sitting or dog walking clients pets. My dog gets long walks 6-7 days a week, ranging from an hour to four hours per day. On rainy days, we play scent games indoors and do extra training. She is brushed weekly and groomed monthly. She has plenty of toys and gets healthy treats. I am very flexible, what you say goes. I am partial to more high energy dogs and clingy cats. However, I love short walks and snuggling up on the couch to watch movies too!

About: I am graduating college in May and I love animals and I have house sat a variety of dogs and cats before, and have also taken care of a couple guinea pigs, a bearded dragon, and a pig before. I love to getting to know and taking care of pets! I have loved dogs all my life, my first word was dog! I have owned a dog my whole life and I currently have a dog named Buster who is a 10 year old Jack Russell chihuahua mix who likes to make me carry him while out on a walk. I would love to get the chance to hang out and play with some dogs! I became a first time cat owner in November of 2020 when a cat showed up in my yard. He showed up in a bit of a sorry state but with some visits to the vet, time, and care he has become a happy and playful member of my family. His name is Goosetofur Toast Man, or Goose for short, and I have enjoyed being a cat owner more than I could have imagined! I have been pet sitting since I was in high school and I have watched over 40 different pets. My availability is very open and flexible, I will be available for the majority of the day on most days this summer. I would need to potentially be out for a few hours at a time for things like meetings for a local camp I volunteer at or to run errands. I will enjoy spending time with your pet if they are active and want to go out on long walks or hikes, or if they are a bit of a couch potato I will have a great time curling up with them on the couch. I am observant and care deeply about the wellbeing of the pets I watch and make sure to notify and come up with a plan with owners if I notice any issues with a pet.
