About: I have been a pet and house sitter for the majority of my life. I truly enjoy spending time with your animals and making sure they are happy and healthy while you are away. This can include anything from daily snuggles on the couch, to walks around the neighborhood, play time in the back yard, or chasing lasers around inside. I have sat for a variety of animals, but prefer to stick with dogs and cats, but if you have other types of pets we can negotiate. I do not do well with giving shots but can handle a medication schedule if needed for senior or special needs animals. I am currently a remote student working on a bachelor's degree. Carter was very personable and obviously loves dogs. He was willing to come by our house twice before the actual petsit, to get lined out on the alarm system, feeding and care instructions. He took our dog for walks and sent photos. He did have to work on two of the days, so our dog was left alone longer than we would have liked.

sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
