He immediately established a calm and comforting rapport with our young, anxious pup and provided wonderful care for her first full day alone with a stranger as well as our senior. About: I have experience with dogs and cats, young and old, easy and "difficult". I am very adept at walking and caring for dogs that can have a hard time with other dogs and/or humans. I'm also happy to help keep up any training routines, I'm pretty proficient in general dog training, but I know it always comes down to the individual dogs for what works best. I often have people remark about their pets who usually don't warm up to new people immediately taking a liking to me! I'm also totally respectful of animals who do need time to get to know new people and always meet them where they're at, so more than welcome to accommodate those who need more introduction time. I've had dogs in the family my whole life, and have lived with many cats as roommates, and I've loved them all. I've done extensive house sitting everywhere from big cities to rural areas, for periods of time as long as two months, caring for animals as well as the house and surrounding property. My schedule is very flexible so I can make sure I have plenty of time to give my full attention to your animal friends, I live in a sweet quiet neighborhood in Arcata near the bottoms that's great for regular walks, and I have a car and am happy to take pups out on more special adventures too! I always check in about what's best for each dog, and can tailor care around what their usual schedule is with walks and feeding, what kinds of play they like best, and any training routines I can help reinforce during our time together.

I’m very good when it comes to applying the owners needs with consistency and lots of attention for their pets. I babysit part time and I have dog sitting clients outside of Rover as well. About: I am a 26 year old graduate student attending Cal Poly Humboldt. I have always loved animals from a very young age and have owned a variety of animals since I was a child that include; mice, snakes, hamsters, dogs, and cats. I also have experience dog-sitting and cat-sitting for extended periods of time. I love animals and am excited to meet your furry/non-furry family members. I have classes throughout the week but have a good amount of time in between them so I am able to pet-sit and dog walk with a pretty flexible schedule! About: I’ve had dogs my entire life. Ever since I was a kid, I was jumping up to wash the dogs, train the dogs, walk the dogs- everything! I’m a full time college student. During the day, I will need to attend class. I also attend Natural Resources club on Saturday mornings. However, I am fully available during the rest of the week! I treat all pets with respect and kindness. I’ve had reactive dogs and extremely friendly dogs, so I’m well versed in any reactions pets may have to me.
