One of our dogs has epilepsy and requires a very strict medication regimen (which is relatively new) and Junny reached out to warn us that his new medication was running low, even picking up a refill while we were away. About: I have experience with dogs and cats, young and old, easy and "difficult". I am very adept at walking and caring for reactive dogs who can have a hard time with other dogs and/or humans, and do my best to avoid any situations that can trigger reactive behaviors. I'm also happy to help keep up any training routines, I'm pretty proficient in general dog training, but I know it always comes down to the individual dogs for what works best. I often have people remark about their pets who usually don't warm up to new people immediately taking a liking to me! I'm also totally respectful of animals who do need time to get to know new people and always meet them where they're at, so more than welcome to accommodate those who need more introduction time. I've had dogs in the family my whole life, and have lived with many cats as roommates, and I've loved them all. I've done extensive house sitting everywhere from big cities to rural areas, for periods of time as long as two months, caring for animals as well as the house and surrounding property. My schedule is very flexible so I can make sure I have plenty of time to give my full attention to your animal friends, I live in a sweet quiet neighborhood in Arcata near the bottoms that's great for regular walks, and I have a car and am happy to take pups out on more special adventures too! I was also a veterinary technician and wildlife caretaker, so am familiar with giving medications, shots, cleaning and grooming, and overall behavior indicators of wellbeing. Tatianya was excellent! It was my first time leaving my fur babies with someone they didn’t know before, bit she made the whole experience wonderful for both them and me. She gave me regular updates throughout the time I was gone, and my pets were very happy and well cared for when I got home. She also left my home spotless, which was a real treat to come home to after vacation. I would highly recommend Tatianya as a house sitter and will absolutely book her again if I need pet care again!
Lily did a great job taking care of Bridge! She had a flexible work schedule so she could spend time with him for 2 walks a day and feeding him breakfast, lunch and dinner. She gave me daily pictures of him to reassure me that all was going well. There was good communication with me through daily messages. Our house was left in perfect condition! All in all, I would highly recommend Lily to anyone.
