About: I grew up showing chickens through 4H and riding horses. I have fostered kittens and trained my dog to do agility. i absolutely love bonding with animals and they’ve always been such an important part of who I am. I promise you I will take the best care of your sweet pets! I am in California temporarily for winter time as I am a College student from another state. I am looking to work whenever/as needed! ! When I have pet sit/house sit in the past, I spend a lot of time bonding with the pets and making them feel safe and not alone. I am flexible when it comes to stopping by to check on them or living in to take care of them. I love giving out treats and playing but of course it’s up to you as to what I’d be allowed to do!

About: Animals have always brought me a lot of joy. I grew up with and have taken care of dogs, cats, chickens, rabbits, birds, horses, reptiles, and amphibians, so I am well acquainted with many types of creatures! I have cared for newborn kittens, as well as senior dogs and cats. Due to my background as a veterinary technician and wildlife caretaker, I am very comfortable with animals who require medical care or have higher needs in general. I am familiar with giving medications, shots, cleaning and grooming, and overall behavior indicators of well-being. I also assisted in surgeries, where I prepped the supplies, took vitals, and monitored the pet's health while under anesthesia. While I hope no family has to endure the hardship that comes with an ill or elderly pet, it does happen. Whether you are planning a trip away or just need some assistance, I would be happy to care for your fur baby and hope to meet them soon. I currently have a cat and three chickens who I love a lot. So unfortunately, I cannot board any pets at my home. I have a remote job, so am flexible with home stays, walks, feeding schedules, and anything else to keep your friend happy. I always first consider the pets' and my safety. In my own home, I have spent the last 4 years helping my cat overcome her traumatic past through patience and routine. I give her lots of treats and mental stimulation, such as finding new items for her to bat around and sit on. We also have chickens, which have a fully fenced backyard so they can roam. I also love spoiling them with watermelon, apples, and mealworms!

“Amanda took care of our home and cats for multiple weeks while we were out of country; she was attentive during our orientation and made sure to pay attention to each one. Useful since two of them don't get along. When we got home the litter was scooped and messes were swept. Incidental messes like hairballs were cleaned up and reported on during her daily write ups. We had a remote camera set up in the living room (we informed her about) and our check ins always showed us how she took care to ensure our local escape artist was shooed from the door with care and safety in mind. About: I’ve been taking care of pets ever since I was a young girl and knew my life would be dedicated to them. I then became a vet tech in 2018 and have loved being able to take care of them medically as well. I have gained so much knowledge of healthcare and husbandry ranging from puppies/kittens to seniors of all kinds of breeds and personalities to give your fur baby the best. I’m very familiar with most health conditions and comfortable with all medications(oral/injection) I am also responsive and prepared when health concerns or even emergencies come up. I have my own vet tech kit to treat minor injuries and illnesses but will always seek the appropriate medical care if necessary.I am also happy to provide basic grooming like bathing brushing and even nail trims ( all if they are comfortable with it) free of charge if requested. Your pet will be in the most excellent hands, I will always do everything in my power to keep them safe happy and healthy and I will love spending time with them. I am very professional reliable and you can rest easy knowing your pets are in my care and I will always keep you updated. I cannot wait to meet you and your pets as they will be treated like my own ( royal treatment for sure 👑) I’m just taking relief shifts as a vet tech currently and have a flexible schedule for pet sitting. When I’m taking care of your pets they are my number one priority. I will always care for your pets as my own and will always do everything I can to make sure they are comfortable happy and safe. I spoil my senior dog Curley and I always do the same for you pups no doubt. I always check in for mental and physical wellness 24/7 and make adjustments as needed.

About: I am a long time animal lover and have been working in pet care for over 25 years professionally. I have ample experience with dog walking and overnight pet sitting. I ran my own dog walking business as a sole proprietor for many years, and also have worked as an independent contractor for other dog walking & pet sitting companies. In the past, I've cared for many different animals of varying ages and breeds; from puppies and kittens to seniors. I have plenty of experience administering medication for animals who need it, whether it be ear/eye drops, pills, and insulin injections. I also have experience caring for small and furry (rabbits, hamsters, guinea pigs) as well as scaly (fish, snakes, turtles). I'm responsible, caring, and punctual, and I genuinely care about providing great service to you and your pet. I am looking forward to meeting your furry (or scaly) friend! My schedule is fairly flexible and I will accept bookings Mon-Sun from 8am to 5pm. I prefer to do an free consultation with your dog before you book your first walk. I do appreciate advance bookings, but will do my best to fit you in! Your pet is a member of your family, so it is important to me that your pal feels loved and cared for while you are away. I travel to you and I am not currently available for boarding in my home.

About: I took care of 'Beau', a very large white American Retriever. He is the sweetest! I was temporary mom to Elsie, a huuuuuge Great Dane lady. You can see images of me and Elsie in my profile. I took care of a home and Chester (Tabby Male Kitty), Luna (Black Female Kitty) and their dog sister SnoBella. I watched these 3 for several months while their mama was recovering from illness. You can see images of SnoBella, Chester, Luna and I walking. The kitties loved to walk with SnoBella and me. I am also a plant mom. My own home — which is cared for by my daughter when I'm gone — contains 3 indoor trees and over 10 live plants, as well as a Gardyn indoor garden. I consider my plants also sort of my babies and will take care of yours as well. I work remotely, which allows me to spend much of the day with the pets in my care. Because I'm home throughout the day, I can provide companionship, maintain their normal routine, and keep a close eye on their well-being. Many pets enjoy relaxing nearby while I work, whether that's a cat curled up in my lap or a dog snoozing by my desk. If your pet is allowed outside I sometimes enjoy sitting on the patio and letting them roam the yard while I work. I keep pets on their normal routine as much as possible. My day includes feeding, fresh water, litter box cleaning or potty breaks, playtime, walks, and plenty of affection. Since I work remotely, pets often keep me company throughout the day, whether that's a cat in my lap or a dog at my feet. If approved by the pet parent, I'm also happy to let pets sleep with me so they feel safe and comfortable while you're away.

About: Grew up with family dogs, and strategically made friends with cats so I could pretend they were mine. Currently I have a 7 year old goldendoodle who has taught me a TON about training dogs in the 6 years I've had him. Your good boy will enjoy every smell on our walk and get some (owner approved) treats along the way, and I'm happy to continue your work on any behaviors you're encouraging! My schedule is pretty much wide open for north county visits (McKinleyville and up) - feel free to reach out with same day requests! Further afield than that I may need some notice, but am happy to work something out! Just send me a message. I'm a pretty "safety first," cautious dog owner. I'll follow your instructions to the letter, and will err on the side of caution. I like to take the time to get to know your critters, and let them get to know me so that it's always exciting when I show up! For interested dog owners, I can facilitate a meet with my own dog for a double walk or a dog park playmate - after a meet and greet to make sure they get along.

About: I love taking long walks in the woods, bike riding, and running with pups! If your dog needs a lil extra energy release, (or not) I'm your person. I have no other pets, and will give your dog the attention they deserve. I work in the evenings, so can walk from 10AM-4:00PM WED/THURS/FRI. I always walk anyway, or go for a run, so incorporating a furry friend seems perfect. I have a new(er) pickup truck, that has a plush dog bed in the back for your critter. If they have car-anxiety, I've got a blanket in the cab for them.

About: I've had animals all of my life. My parents kept getting me more animals because they said as long I was taking good care of them, then I could get more. I would keep journals about their well being( Funny, I know) The point is, I love animals. I have had dogs,puppies, cats, lizards, hamsters, chickens, horses, ferrets, and chameleons, I have 2 dogs of my own and they are my children. It's of the utmost importance to me that any animal under my care feels very loved, and taken care of. I know it can be traumatic being away from your animal, and it can create anxiety. I will do my best to make sure your baby is feeling good and happy! I currently make my own schedule and own my own massage therapy business. The further in advance I know about the sitting job, the more of a chance I will have of being able to clear my schedule for it. My schedule is pretty flexible! I will follow the directions you give me to a T. I know our animals get used to routine, so I will do my best not to disrupt that routine. I am hands on, and want to make sure any animal I care for feels loved and paid attention to.

About: I’ve cared for dogs and cats of all sizes, ages, and breeds for as long as I can remember. My experience ranges from training puppies to caring for elderly dogs to providing medication and much much more. The happiest moments of my life have been with my dogs and the animals I look after. I can’t wait to meet and care for yours! I’m a remote worker with a very flexible schedule who lives across the street from a dog beach, which allows me to give your pet the attention they deserve. The happiness of your pet (and your ease of mind) is my top priority! I have a large fully fenced yard that will keep your dog happy and exercised! My home also has two friendly dogs that are ready to meet and play with your pet. I’m happy to leave my dogs at home to do in-house visits for pets that are less social :)
