About: I have worked in zoos, wildlife rehabs, and shelters for over 5 years. I am well-versed in operant conditioning training and provided medication to many species including dogs, cats, and birds. My schedule is very flexible, so I can drop by to care for your pet in your home anytime that fits your schedule! I am not available for boarding pets at my home at this time. I am unavailable for long term stays, e.g. longer than one week I always take into account the owner's preferences for their pet. I will adapt to the way you want your pet to be cared for. With my background in the zoo field, working inside specific parameters is how animals get the best care in the way they are used to.
“Booking Jana to watch over my two gremlins was probably one of the best decisions I've made in a long time. This was my first time using Rover, or any pet-sitting service for that matter, so obviously I had apprehensions (pretty private individual, yadda yadda). Jana was perfect. She came and met the two clouds a couple of days before the trip and set expectations clearly. Super-communicative and responsive, even when I changed the plan around at the last second (sorry again, btw). Heaven was fantastic for drop in kitty visits. She has excellent communication skills and asked pertinent questions about the cats. I absolutely loved the cleverly written daily report cards with pictures/video!! She also checked the mail (which was supposedly on hold) and collected it each day without being asked. I swear my house was cleaner when I arrived home (no cat litter or cat hair on the floor). I highly recommend Heaven for drop in kitty care. Heaven is reliable, communicative, and compassionate. Also, she met my reactive dog and instantly calmed her down.
I have been lucky to work with Esparita for boarding over the last several years and this was the first time that I was able to have her come for a drop in visit while I was away. As always, she goes above and beyond with excellent communication, great care with my dogs, And I couldn’t ask a family member to take better care of them. Could not recommend anybody higher!
I contacted Olivia only a few days before I was in need of someone to take care of my beloved cat, Zayda. She responded right away, came to do a meet-and-greet that same evening, and right away I knew that I could trust her with my baby. After booking her initially for drop-in visits, I asked her if she'd be willing to adjust the booking to staying overnight instead because I worried about my cat being lonely and scared of fireworks. Olivia didn't hesitate a second - she understood my needs and completely accommodated the change on short notice. She sent photos twice a day and communicated well. I am very grateful to have found her.
I can’t say enough about the wonderful care Alexa took with my senior kitty. She was kind, responsible, communicative and definitely made my vacation worry free. It’s so wonderful to know you can go away and count on someone to be there for your furry family member.
This was the first time I used this site and I had Brigid come over and watch my two little girls for a couple of days. everything seems perfect The girls acted kind of weird when I came back, I'm thinking that they were just mad at me for deserting them I think they thought that they were up for adoption because some lady was coming to take care of them haha!
