Experienced, Loving Pet Sitter!
I’ve been surrounded by animals my entire life. My dad is a herpetologist, so I grew up caring for snakes, turtles, frogs, salamanders, and fish, along with dogs, cats, and chickens. This gave me an early understanding of different species, temperaments, and individual care needs. I recently relocated from Pennsylvania, while my dog is staying with my family, where she is very loved and well cared for. I’m currently saving my Rover earnings toward a road trip home to bring her here to New Mexico. Even knowing she’s in great hands, I understand how hard it can be to miss your pet and how important it is to trust the person caring for them. That perspective is a big part of how I approach pet sitting—I prioritize reliability, communication, and making sure every animal feels safe, comfortable, and cared for. I have experience with animals of all ages, from energetic puppies to senior pets, and I treat each one with the same patience and attention I would want for my own.

I live in a pet-friendly apartment with access to a small dog yard and a nearby park, providing plenty of opportunities for walks, exercise, and outdoor time. I prioritize creating a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment and will diligently follow all care instructions and routines closely and give each pet the individual attention they need to feel secure and at home.

Maggie loves animals. She was born into a family of biologists and has cared for animals all of her life. She’s cared for dogs, cats, and has even helped care for turtles, snakes and fish. Her passion is caring cats and dogs. She’s had pet cats since she was little and took a keen interest in them, even volunteering to care for cats in an animal orphan clinic. She grew up with dogs, too, and has a pet dog that she loves. Maggie is compassionate and loves animals and will do great taking care of pets at Rover.com!
Maggie is the best cat sitter I’ve ever met! When I came home from being away, Marie (my cat) acted like I was home the whole time! She usually gets anxious and worried when I go away, I come home and she’s skittish. Not with Maggie around! Marie was calm and didn’t have a care in the world!
Maggie is one of the most loving and dependable people I’ve ever met. She has a calm, nurturing presence that animals instantly respond to—my dogs, who can be a bit shy, took to her right away. Maggie is always on time, very responsible, and clearly pays attention to every little detail. I feel completely at ease knowing she’s there when I can’t be. It’s a comfort to know my pet is not only safe but genuinely cared for and happy with her.
Maggie is a Gem! She took care of my Guinea Pig while I was out of town! He loved her and she was great about giving me updates about him!
Mae is the most incredible animal lover I’ve ever met! She graciously takes care of one of my cats and follows my instructions to a T! She follows directions so well, sends updates and photos on her own accord and answers my texts in a timely fashion. She always is willing to go above and beyond my expectations! I couldn’t ask for a better animal caregiver!! Loving and lovely, Mae is simply the best!
