“Cassandra came to do a meet before the sit, my dog was acting absolutely out of pocket and wouldnt not calm down for whatever reason. Cassandra stuck by his side and didn't give up. I was worried he was too crazy and that I wouldn't have a sitter but Cass was an absolute superstar and said I could take my trip, and that she'd get him to warm up no matter what. And she did just that, now he loves her, I'm glad she didn't give up or turn him away at first.”

About: I lost my sixteen-year-old fur baby in October, 2018 and find myself missing that special energy only pets can bring. I have been caring for various pets for my friends and family for about 20 years and have done drop ins and overnight visits. I do have a full-time 8-5:30, Monday-Friday (and many Saturdays) job however, and am not available to provide constant care for pets. I do have more than enough time to devote myself to the love and care of your fur baby. In my home, in my life, dogs and cats are family and deserve the same love, care, and respect that human beings deserve. Perhaps more. While I have more experience with dogs I haven’t met a cat I couldn’t win over. Rest assured that if you place the care of your beloved pets in my hands they will be well loved while you are out of town. Your home will be cared for as well. I do have a “regular” 8 am to 5 pm job. My evenings and nights are free. Weekends are also more flexible for me when it comes to spending quality time with your baby. I am not able to provide constant care. I live in an apartment complex so I am more than happy to visit your fur baby in their own environment. I want to make sure your pets are as comfortable as possible so I’d prefer to maintain the schedule and comfort they’re used to.

About: I have cared for my own pets, friends pets, and family members pets for decades, including multiple senior pets and those with specific medical needs. I work from home and have my own pets who are spoiled with constant company and attention to needs. I walk my own dogs in the morning throughout the summer to avoid the hottest part of the day. It is unlikely I am ever out of the house for more than 90 minutes, ensuring that neither your nor my own dogs are left unattended for long enough to become anxious. My backyard is fully shaded, fenced, and has a small pond. Even on the hottest days my backyard is suitable for lounging despite the high desert heat.

About: I believe that pets have emotional needs in addition to their physical needs. I love pets and I will care for them like they are my own. I am a student, but I will make sure pets get love and attention in addition to food and exercise. Pet care will always fit into my schedule because the well being and the happiness of your pets are my priority. About: I'm an avid thru-hiker who completed the 2,192-mile Appalachian Trail, and a lifelong dog lover. I'm active every day with hiking, walking, and yoga, so your dog will never be under-exercised. I currently feed and care for six semi-feral backyard cats, so I'm comfortable with animals of all temperaments. Reliable, patient, and happy to follow your pet's routine exactly. I've also hiked Spain's Camino del Norte and run a small hiking YouTube channel (Dundee Hikes). I am retired, my days are flexible and built around staying active — morning yoga, daily walks or hikes, and plenty of time at home. Pet care fits naturally into that: I'm around most of the day for walks, playtime, feeding, and company, and I can adapt to your pet's existing routine.
