About: I mostly have experience with medium to larger dogs. I love going on walks so I will take pets along for the journey. I grew up with bulldogs and I’ve personally owned German Shepards and Huskies. I am currently in between jobs and preparing for a certification test for signed language interpreting. I have plenty of free time for pets and love to get out and about like going for walks, hikes and enjoying the sun. I have a private small patio with many dogs parks in my apartment complex. Also close to my apartment is a golf course that is a clear and safe walk for fur babies. I can crate your dog if needed (: they are allowed on furniture to make them feel like home!

About: I have lived with at least 2 dogs in my household for the past 20 years. Providing them with the opportunities to live fulfilling and healthy lives has been my priority. Although I am their caregiver, I consider them also to be my teachers. Learning how to communicate with them is the best way to ensure they are happy and calm, and that they feel safe. I am currently retired and spend quite a bit of time at the dog park. My dog and I are mostly inseparable. I take him with me to run errands when I can. It isn't always practical and so he minds the house when I am away. Barney is my only companion, and, even though I'm kind of a loner, Barney is NOT. He is extremely friendly and social and craves the company of other dog;, that factors into my decision to care for other dogs in my home. Barney will help me keep your dog comfortable and happy while in our care. We have a fenced back yard (4 foot). The surrounding properties have no dogs at this time. If your dog can jump a 4 foot fence, this may not be the safest home for him or her.

About: If there's anything that I can brighten my day, it's seeing a happy dog! Since I was young I have always had a soft heart for all animals. I believe in the ethical treatment of animals, and I will advocate for them however I can. I have cared for many dogs of my own over the years, as well as for others. Your fur babies will get as much love as I give my own. Caring for animals has always brought me a deep sense of comfort and joy. I especially enjoy supporting senior pets or those who need a little extra attention, patience, and care. I recently lost my beloved dog of 15 years to cutaneous lymphoma, which required attentive, around-the-clock care, including carefully timed medications and a thoughtfully managed diet tailored to his health needs. He was truly a member of my family, and his loss has left a significant space in my life—one of the reasons I’ve chosen to join Rover. I’m very attentive, protective, and detail-oriented when it comes to an animal’s well-being. My experience has also led me to learn extensively about canine health, particularly cancer prevention and supportive care. Caring for animals is important to me, as I know completely how worrisome it can be to give your baby to someone else and hope they get the same love and care. I have always been very cautious with my pets in any situation and this is one of the reasons I joined Rover. I understand the nervousness of giving someone else the responsibility of your beloved pet, and if I can be that relief to someone else then I would love to! The attention, detail, and care I put into them reflects my fees. Along with dog sitting, my background also includes a professional career in the film industry, teaching English in Spain with families, and caring for a farm in Hawaii. If caring for pets in my home, I maintain a clean, secure environment with plenty of supervision, comfort, and affection. I ensure pets have a safe space to relax, access to fresh water, and appropriate exercise and enrichment based on their energy level and needs. Safety is always my top priority.
