About: I have worked in zoos, wildlife rehabs, and shelters for over 5 years. I am well-versed in operant conditioning training and provided medication to many species including dogs, cats, and birds. My schedule is very flexible, so I can drop by to care for your pet in your home anytime that fits your schedule! I am not available for boarding pets at my home at this time. I am unavailable for long term stays, e.g. longer than one week I always take into account the owner's preferences for their pet. I will adapt to the way you want your pet to be cared for. With my background in the zoo field, working inside specific parameters is how animals get the best care in the way they are used to.

“Heaven is just wonderful! When we did our meet and greet, I found that she had read both of my big dogs' profiles. She asked relevant questions about each dog's health and medical needs. She came wearing a small bell so that my blind dog would know where she was--so smart and thoughtful! Upon successive drop in visits, she made sure to follow all directions, gave each dog individual attention and belly rubs (which they loved!) and also made sure they had a backyard visit. She sent pictures and notes following each visit. It is very obvious that Heaven has dog experience and takes their care seriously. They’re pretty easy to care for the most part, but my older dog is a senior with a lot of health issues & a lot of medications who requires special care. She was amazing & took such good care of then, including my old man <3 She came over a few days before to meet us/them & show her where everything was & she was so sweet & interested in making sure she understood everything & even brought treats for the furbabies. During our time out pf town, she would send pictures & updates of each visit. Being new to Albuquerque & not knowing many people, it’s great to have found her. Sharon was recommended to us by a friend who is a vet who had booked her pet sitting services previously. Sharon was incredible and so professional. She came by ahead of time to meet our cat and to better understand his routine and where everything was located. Our cat receives a daily medication and she did such a wonderful job taking care of him and giving him the opportunity to seek out her affection on his terms. We loved her daily photo updates. Our little guy was happy and content when we got home. She was even kind enough to bring in a package that was left on our doorstep to prevent it from getting stolen, and sent us a picture to confirm that it’s inside the house. No doubt in my mind, we would love to book her for more cat-sitting for our future trips.

Madelynne was very attentive and communicative with our two cats, especially Petra who is a little bit more of a handful. She didn’t shy away from handling Petra and her unique situation, and even called us to ensure everything was handled correctly. Then they were all best friends by the end of the visit!
Laura is absolutely the best sitter we have ever had. She always goes above and beyond, provides us with wonderful summaries of what our kitties are up to, and she sends us tons of pictures so we can see them while we’re away. Our home is always neat and tidy when we return, and we completely trust her with everything. Laura is stellar, and we wouldn’t use anyone else!
Our fur babies were so happy to have Valerie take care of them! She did an excellent job! She kept them healthy and happy. Her daily reports and photos were very reassuring. We are so thankful to Valerie for the love and care she gave our pets.🩷🩷
Heaven was fantastic for drop in kitty visits. She has excellent communication skills and asked pertinent questions about the cats. I absolutely loved the cleverly written daily report cards with pictures/video!! She also checked the mail (which was supposedly on hold) and collected it each day without being asked. I swear my house was cleaner when I arrived home (no cat litter or cat hair on the floor). I highly recommend Heaven for drop in kitty care. Heaven is reliable, communicative, and compassionate. Also, she met my reactive dog and instantly calmed her down.
I have been lucky to work with Esparita for boarding over the last several years and this was the first time that I was able to have her come for a drop in visit while I was away. As always, she goes above and beyond with excellent communication, great care with my dogs, And I couldn’t ask a family member to take better care of them. Could not recommend anybody higher!
