“I used Wendy's drop-in service to watch my cat recently and I am very pleased. She clearly loves animals and my cat took to her instantly, she was punctual, sent pictures and went above and beyond by bringing in the mail and cleaning up after when my cat threw up. I highly recommend Wendy and will definitely use her again.”

“Will always contact Seneca first and foremost to watch my pup. I can go to work worry free knowing my dog is happy and well cared for in her company.”

“Holly and Robert did a great job dropping in on our pup Murphy during the day. They had great communication with us about how he was doing and we came home to a happy pup. Thanks Holly and Robert!”

“Sierra did a wonderful job watching our pets while we out of town. She had no issues with their somewhat complicated feeding routine and giving my dog her daily medicine. We also received multiple pictures with every drop in, the dog seemed happy in every picture and the shy cats even started warming up to her. She even went above and beyond by taking out the trash and recycle. We will definitely be using Sierra again in the future!”

“Kind, responsive, reliable. Thank you!”

“Hannah is so awesome! My 2 cats (one who is very complicated 🙄) loved her and I really enjoyed all of her photos and updates. She is trustworthy, prompt, and super friendly. Highly recommend!”

About: I have professional experience with animal care, such as administering medicine and helping with seizures. I have worked with diabetic dogs and have worked with senior dogs with arthritis. I also know how to train dogs and teach them tricks. I have years worth of personal experience with many different types of animals as well. I started working on Rover back in November of 2024. I started this as a side gig but now work this as my full time income. That being said, it means I am available all the time for your sweet fur babies! At your home, while with your pet, I will make sure that they have company and love. We will play in your yard if you have one or I will take your dog for a walk. They’ll definitely be getting as many snuggles as they want, as well! They will be well loved and kept on as normal a routine as possible. I will also ensure that I leave your home as clean as it was when you left it. It’s important to me to make sure you come home to a clean house!

“Angela is a delight. She spends a lot of time with each pet, doing things that make each one feel comfortable and seen. She even cozied up on the floor to make a newer member of the pet family feel like home. She also sends tons of pictures, which is great! I love seeing them being well taken care of. Definitely will ask to help again in the future.”

About: I have worked in zoos, wildlife rehabs, and shelters for over 5 years. I am well-versed in operant conditioning training and provided medication to many species including dogs, cats, and birds. My schedule is very flexible, so I can drop by to care for your pet in your home anytime that fits your schedule! I am not available for boarding pets at my home at this time. I am unavailable for long term stays, e.g. longer than one week I always take into account the owner's preferences for their pet. I will adapt to the way you want your pet to be cared for. With my background in the zoo field, working inside specific parameters is how animals get the best care in the way they are used to.

“Kristen was great! She checked in on my cats and spent some time with them every other day while taking care of all of their needs. She was great about communicating and sending pictures. It was super helpful that she was willing to bring in packages that got delivered and empty the roomba too!!”

About: While you're away, we will play in a huge, fenced back yard, nap in a dog pile in cool shade on the patio, and we will definitely have arts and crafts days. I'm guessing your dog is a better artist than you realize. ;) I'm an illustrator who works from home. I have a dog, a cat, and a parrot who are my family. All of us love small to medium dog visitors. Your dog will get all the love and attention I give my own. If it's pet care in your home you need, then know that early morning drop-in visits are no problem, and if you have other animals, that's fine. I have many years' experience with dogs, cats, alpacas, sheep, chickens, ducks, reptiles, and others. Geriatric and special needs pets are welcome. Leave their care to me, and have peace of mind knowing that even though they will miss you, they will be safe and happy while you're away.

“Jana was an awesome and reliable pet sitter. She cared for our cats like they were her own. She administered meds to my cat who can refuse to take but she managed to give him his meds every dose. I highly recommend her as a pet sitter.”

“We asked Brigit to check in on our cat while my wife and I were out of town for two weeks. She has a calm, professional attitude and was quick to respond to questions. After meeting her, it felt easy to trust her with our furry companion as well as letting her into our home. Everyday we looked forward to a photo of our cat from Brigit which really put our minds at ease. We would definitely hire her again.”

“I've never used a service like Rover before, so I was initially a bit nervous with how my dog would respond to James visiting without my presence. However, James took the time to do a meet and greet beforehand and was gentle and patient with my dog Riley. I appreciated his updates and photos while I was at work. I'm sure Riley will continue to warm up to James with continued visits.”

About: Hello fellow dog lovers. With 15 years experience raising and caring for dogs, I am looking forward to providing your furry family the best attention and care. My first two dogs have passed and we currently have 3 dogs, all rescues. I have experience with medications and dogs with difficulties. My second dog (Winston) lived with Type I diabetes and required daily insulin injections and a strict feeding schedule. One of my current dogs (Mickey) has severe anxiety and requires daily pills and regular clicker training to help him live his best life. We've had dogs from 20lbs. up to 90lbs, bully breeds, mixes, etc. I've received training in K9 CPR and K9 Heimlich Maneuver. I've trained all of our dogs to use a doggy door as well as basic commands. I do have a regular 8-5 job. On weekdays I can provide morning and evening care and overnight stays. Weekends offer more flexibility. Even though I have my own dogs, they have my family to take care of them while I dedicate time for yours. I am available Monday-Friday for morning and evening drop-ins and overnight stays. I am available on Saturday and Sunday throughout the day for more drop-ins in addition to overnight stays. Understanding that your pets time away from you can be stressful, I aim to provide a routine that can lower that stress and ensure they are at ease and comfortable until your return. Whether that’s play time or extra belly scratches, we will work to identify their needs before you leave. I can administer medicines as needed including pills, injections, etc. I have experience with puppies, senior dogs, dogs with medical needs, etc.

“Laura was a blessing to have watching over my two cats while I was out of town. I will definitely be booking with her again. Absolute professional.”

“Emma did well and I have told her I will have another assignment for her in the early part of 2025. My only wishes are that she remember next time to pick up all the newspapers in my driveway each day and to give Cisco the Fresh Pet supplement.”

“I am so grateful I met Sharon on Rover. I have a somewhat quirky laboratory (Bailey) that is extremely timid and cautious but an absolutely delightful dog. Sharon understood as she also has a somewhat quirky dog that is scared of strangers. Sharon was gentle and loving; Bailey felt safe to trust and love her quickly. It meant so much to know Bailey was getting some real love twice a day in my absence. I also felt confident that Sharon would be there every morning and every night. That allowed me to enjoy my vacation more. I would highly recommend Sharon as a dependable, loving dog-sitter.”

She was perfect in every way for my and my dogs needs: warm, caring, skilled, knowledgeable, fun, and positive in any sort of aspect I can think of regarding animal care.
