I’ve been caring for dogs and cats for over 30 years and can’t imagine life without animals. I’ve been a pet owner since my teenage years, and caring for animals has always been a steady part of my life. Beyond my own pets, I have experience in a wide range of pet care roles. I’ve worked as a house sitter, caring for pets and homes for weeks at a time, as well as a pet sitter making multiple daily visits to ensure animals are fed, walked, exercised, and given plenty of attention. I also have experience as a dog walker and understand the importance of safe, attentive, and engaging walks. What sets me apart is my calm, reliable approach and my ability to adapt to each pet’s unique personality and routine. I’m comfortable caring for both dogs and cats, and I take pride in providing consistent, loving care so pets feel secure and comfortable while their people are away.

When caring for pets in a client’s home, I prioritize keeping their routine as consistent as possible. I follow all care instructions closely, including feeding schedules, walks, medication (if needed), and any specific household or pet preferences. I make sure pets receive plenty of attention, exercise, and affection while also respecting their individual personalities and comfort levels. During visits or overnight stays, I keep the home tidy, ensure doors and gates are secure, and provide updates so pet parents feel confident their pets are happy and well cared for. My goal is to create a calm, familiar environment so pets feel safe and comfortable while their people are away.

Schedule
I’m a substitute teacher with a flexible schedule, which allows me to adjust my availability day by day. While I love working with kids, I also love animals and enjoy having the flexibility to spend quality time caring for pets.
