About: One of my first memories is of adopting a stray that we named Chiqule (Gum, in Spanish) because he decided to stick around. Ever since then I’ve picked up many of our four legged friends and made them family dogs. Many years since having my own pet, my love for our furry friends has yet to dwindle and I continue to pet-sit and house-sit just for the opportunity to hang in with a little fur ball. I have experience with a small senior dogs and dogs who have required medication, 3+ walks a day, or an extensive park visit. I’ve house-sat and makes sure to build my schedule around my four-legged, temporary bestie to ensure a stress-free time. I like to establish constant communication and updates with the pet-parent to make sure all is well. I regard play time highly but makes sure to only ruff-house and much as per-parent sees fit. Cuddles are optional but recommended. I my work hours are 8:30-5 but travel form Berkeley to Hayward so I can pop in within that 15 mile radius! My weekends are a lot more flexible. I make sure to follow a requested guideline and/or care checklist from pet-parents. I make sure to scope out the potential yard for any hazards and establish some trust with pets before going out on our first walk. If treats are allowed or provided, I will reward my furry friend when I see best on our initial walks to establish trust and respect. Play-time is important and can also be carried out as the pet-parent sees fit.

“Nicole was an amazing dog sitter, and I would use her again in a heartbeat. My dachshund is an older guy, and he is both deaf and struggling with dementia, which means that he requires a lot of care and help. Nicole was incredibly accommodating with regard to his needs - organizing her household to make it safe for him, watching him closely when he was around other dogs, etc. Nicole is also very gracious. For example, I found out upon returning from a two week trip that my dog had been waking her up really early. Rather than complaining about that - which would have been totally justified! - she figured out a way to deal with his early morning needs. Communication was wonderful, I received updates and pictures multiple times a day, and when I picked my pooch up, he seemed happy and well adjusted. Thank you so much Nicole!!”

About: I have worked at a dog hotel/day care for over 4 years. I have volunteered at the SPCA shelter cleaning and caring for dogs and cats. I have also been in programs that discuss animal behavior. I have had dogs since I was eight years old and always took care of them. I enjoy being around animals because they are just so adorable! Lists of what needs to be done are appreciated. Just by having the presence of a dog or cat makes me happy because they are such loving animals. I enjoy petting animals. When my dogs make a mess I always clean up after them. When they are hungry or thirsty I will always provide them with food and water. As well as giving them treats! Overall, animals have always made me happy :) ! I currently have a full time job working at a dog hotel/day care, I will be able to take care of your pup(s) after work and on my days off or after work!(yes I love dogs a lot) I loveee spending time with my three dogs (2 pitties and a mini poodle). I like taking them baths (even though they hate it) I take care of them and play with them as well. I currently work at a dog hotel/day care and the entire day I spend it taking care of them as well as cleaning up after them :) !
