About: Animals are Gods among us. I agree with Ricky Gervais, that "a dog loves you more than it loves itself, and that's why I worship dogs." Honestly, this gig is a bit selfish - my sweet baby Pit Mix passed away recently & I miss her terribly. I'm certain that engaging with animals will soothe this depression. I am socially awkward with humans, but I love animals. This will be therapy, a true gift, to me. I also need to exercise more and would like to be able to afford any kind of home, some day. My family has had pets since I was in kindergarten. I volunteered with Faithful Friends in High School, through which I also fostered kittens. I have taken care of my neighbors' & friends' pets while away over the years, which I equate to a collective total of ~2 years. I take medical issues very seriously & cared for my doll when she was ill. I understand how stressful & important it is. My favorite thing about walking a dog is when the folded tops of their ears bounce up and down. I work full time until ~4:30PM, but I am usually free after. I am available for boarding on the weekends. On the days I work from home (typically Monday & Wednesday), I can also provide a walk or check in during my lunch hour (1 to 2PM). There are no other animals or children in my home; your pet will have my undivided attention. I have a large partially fenced in yard, and many walking trails nearby. I'm also happy to take care of a pet in your home, if preferred.

“Andrea is AMAZING !! We had never left our dog with anyone other than family and I was nervous. Andrea invited us into her home so our dog could meet her family before booking- which put my mind at ease. She communicated with us our entire trip sending videos and photos. My shy dog was running around and cuddling with her the entire time. I’m pretty sure our dog misses her already. Very thankful we found Andrea !!”

“Being an overprotective mom I went back and forth with myself on whether or not I was willing to leave my dog with anyone for 3 days and just cancel my trip but Zays calm demeanor doing our meet and greet calmed my intrusive thoughts and I finally booked their stay. I know I probably got on her nerves with all of the inquiring I did but she was very polite and very on task with the instructions that I left for my babies, she communicated well and most of all she could handle my very rambunctious 3 year old Weimaraner/Pit mix. About: I’ve owned, cared for, researched and trained with dogs since the age of 17. I hold a deep passion for all animals wellbeing and hope to leave my footprints in the world on the care of animals. I have studied animal behavior and wellbeing and hold multiple certificates. Not the mention my personal life experience, owning and loving multiple breeds and ages of dogs. I live in North East, Maryland and left my job as a property manager to pursue my life’s dream as a pet care giver. I spend most my time taking long walks and hikes with my dog and have an open schedule. I have a fenced yard with shade and trees and a three story home with plenty of room. I have pet medical equipment, combs, brushes etc for a happy and healthy puppy. I live within 10 minutes of a centenarian and 25 minutes from a pet hospital if in an emergency.
