About: Hi everyone! My name's Shirl and I am hoping to make your life a bit easier by taking away the stress of leaving your pup behind while you're away. I have been pet sitting for over 12 years; I used to have dogs come board with me while owners went away, but I've found that most owners prefer their pets to stay in the comfort of their own home. I have years of experience doing overnight pet sitting, but unfortunately my growing family (3 dogs and a cat of my own) no longer allows for me to stay away from home overnight. I am happy to provide multiple daily visits and/or walks! My goal is to keep your pet as comfortable as possible while you're away, by keeping their daily routine as close to "normal" as possible. I've cared for all types of pets including dogs, cats, bunnies, chicks, quail, lizards, fish, etc.! I am an experienced dog handler/ animal lover at heart. I worked at/managed a doggie day care/boarding facility for 4 years, learning from a very experienced trainer who focuses on positive reinforcement techniques ONLY. During my time there, I had opportunities to complete trainings to understand dog behaviors and body language. I have volunteered at BARCS as a dog walker/foster, working primarily with bully breeds. Why I love dog sitting I have been an animal lover my entire life. From playing with salamanders as a kid, to growing up with cats and dogs of all shapes and sizes; I've also had bunnies, fish, frogs, hermit crabs, hamsters, birds...the list goes on! I couldn't imagine a life without animals in it. My experience administering medication Yes. Working at a dog boarding facility for nearly 2 years I have had to give many forms of medications, and my personal pets also take oral medications. I am not trained to give injections. My full time job allows me to work from home majority of the week. That makes it easy for me to swing by for a visit at different times of the day. The latest drop in I can provide is 7pm. I am happy to provide updates as soon as I arrive, during the stay, and as I leave. For dog walks, I prefer not to introduce any dog that I’m handling to another dog passing by. This ensures everyone’s safety.

About: I have taken care of all sorts of pets since I was a kid, but dogs and cats are what I am most used to. I have experience walking dogs, dog sitting in others homes(overnight too), and some experience caring for cats(cousins and friends). I have 3 golden retrievers at home in NY ranging from ages 1-8 and I care about them SO much, so I always want to ensure their safety. I feed them, walk them, and have endless playtime with them. My goal is to always ensure your pets safety, just as I would for mine:) I’m currently a nursing student at the University of Delaware and I’m on the club soccer team at UD! There is a fenced in tennis court and park a quick 2 minute walk away that I would take the doggy day out dogs to! I have taken care of pets in the homes of family, friends, and clients. I ensure to go into the house with a calm manor and let the pet get used to me before I walk them, play, or feed them. I’m currently a student at UD but basically have a part time schedule (tuesdays and thursdays) so most of my days are very flexible for taking care of your animal! I grew up on a farm and have always had multiple pets at a time, so I learned responsibility and animal care at a young age. I currently have 3 dogs and 4 cats of my own, and I love spending time with them—whether it’s going on runs with my dogs or cuddling up with my cats. I’m calm, patient, and always make sure animals feel safe and cared for. I treat every animal like they’re my own, with love and respect. Whether your pet needs a fun walk, some playtime, or just someone to keep them company, I’m here to make sure they feel loved and cared for while you’re away! I’m currently working a full-time job Monday through Thursday, from 6am until anywhere between 3pm and 5pm, depending on the day. I have Saturdays and Sundays off, and occasionally Fridays. Sophie works 2pm to 10pm a few days a week, her schedule is different every week. Since our schedules are opposite and Sophie has a bit more free time, one of us is always available to spend a good amount of time with your pet. The first thing we do when taking care of our own pets, or others pets, is let them out to go to the bathroom. Next, we prioritize feeding and medicating (if necessary) and cleaning and refilling all water bowls. Once everything important is taken care of, we then spend quality time with them, whether it’s playing fetch, cuddling or going for a walk. Before we leave, we make sure we let them back outside for a good while to make sure they take care of all of their business.

About: I've taken care of dogs of every kind since my high school days. I love caring for and building relationships with dogs because they are truly like your best friend when they get to know and love you. Currently I work from home and for the most part make my own schedule every day. I am looking to build loving relationships with every pet that I care for so every owner can confidently put their trust in me to bring their furry friends back to me anytime they need me to take care of them. Me and my husband love dogs! We have a doggy park inside of our residence as well as a lovely community of people who walk their dogs everyday I’m sure your pet will meet some friends as we go out for walks and play at the park. Please let me know if you have any special food or any other request that you need me to accommodate to ensure that your furry baby is okay so I can be prepared as much as I can to welcome them into our home. I make my own schedule every day so i am pretty much free Monday through Sunday each week. I will make sure I update the time slots that are booked as clients start scheduling their appointments. All small and medium-sized dogs will be more than welcomed to roam freely around my living room kitchen area and are allowed to sit and lay on the couches as well. The floors are hardwood so even if they have an accident of pooping or peeing on the floor it will be alot easier for me to clean up on the hard floors than the carpeted areas. They will be allowed to come into my bedroom or any other room as long as I am in the room supervising them. I will take them outside to potty every 2 hours timed from the time they arrive until their scheduled time of leaving. You can feel free to bring their favorite toys they love to play with but I will also be purchasing brand new toys that I'm sure your dogs/cats will love to play with.

About: I have been surrounded by dogs my whole life, and I got my first dog at 16. My dog is a mastiff mix, who was unfortunately a covid puppy, leaving her with little socialisation, causing her to be reactive around other animals. We have both been learning from each other everyday and I have been working with and training her since she was a puppy. Throughout the years she has gotten much more confident in herself; even having dog friends now and a younger puppy sister. I have also worked with senior dogs, adminstering medication as needed and helping assist with activities. I have worked with other animals as well, of all different sizes, so I am confident in my ability to read body language and take care of the dogs as needed I am a full-time college student, who is working part-time, and with a chaotic schedule, finding a job for a business is difficult due to my availibilty. I have several animals of my own, making spending time and taking care of them the highlight of my day. I love and treat animals just as the family they are, so when working with others animals, it feels like more of a reward than a job, which I feel is crucial when being a full-time college student and trying to make a living. All of my animals are family and are treated as such, so when taking care of others dogs, I treat them with the same mindset; providing care, love, fun and respect.

About: I’ve had hands-on experience caring for pets for years, including raising my own dog since he was a puppy. I’m very involved in his daily care, including feeding, walks, routines, giving lots of attention, and helping manage medical needs when needed. Because of this, I understand how important patience, consistency, and trust are when caring for someone’s pet. I’m also very comfortable with cats and have had plenty of experience raising kittens as well. I enjoy spending time with different personalities, whether they’re playful, shy, energetic, or need extra comfort and care. I do work part-time mostly once or twice a week on weekends, but outside of my work schedule I’m available most days and have plenty of time to give pets attention, playtime, walks, and companionship. Since I will be caring for pets in their own home, my goal is to help them feel as comfortable, safe, and stress-free as possible by sticking to their normal routine. I’m very attentive to instructions and will make sure your pet gets the care, attention, exercise, feeding, potty breaks, and affection they need while you’re away. I also have hands-on experience with crate training through my own dog, who is crate trained and comfortably sleeps in his crate when prompted. I understand the importance of patience, routine, and making pets feel secure in their environment. I will always treat your home and pets with respect and care as if they were my own.

About: I’ve grown up with dogs my whole life, so caring for them has always been a natural part of who I am. I genuinely love being outside, exploring new areas, and having a furry companion along for the adventure. I’m comfortable with dogs of all sizes and ages, and I’m happy to meet each pup where they’re at, whether they’re energetic and ready to explore or prefer a slower, more relaxed walk. I’ll treat your dog with the same care and attention I’d want for my own. I’m available Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays before 4 PM. I’m happy to spend time hanging out with your pup, giving them plenty of attention, or taking them on a long walk and exploring together. I’m currently working part-time while in nursing school, so these days work best with my schedule! I treat every pet like they’re my own! I take the time to learn their routine, personality, and individual needs so they feel comfortable and cared for. Whether I’m in your home or taking your pup out for a walk, I’ll make sure they get plenty of attention, exercise, and affection. I’m also happy to follow any specific instructions you have, from feeding routines to favorite walking spots and everything in between.

About: I have pet sit all kinds of animals since I was 10, including dogs, cats, lizards, rabbits, frogs, turtles, you name it. I have always lived with a dog since I was born, and also have two adopted cats. I have raised chickens and ducks from hatchlings and cared for goats. I have also worked at a doggy daycare, specializing in yard management, food, medicine, bathing, and senior care. I work part time on the weekends as a server, so I am available anytime on weekdays to take care of your pets! Weekends I am normally available mornings. I love spending time with any pets, so I would give them the best care I could and hang out with them afterwards to make them not just healthy, but happy as well.
