About: I’ve been pet sitting for a couple years now and I’ve always enjoyed my furry counterparts. From walking them to playing with them, I’m happy to do whatever your furry family members require, including administering any medications. I’m currently working part time as a nanny but my days are short and I have flexibility to stay over or let dogs out whenever needed. I currently have a Rottweiler named Winston, a Basenji mix named Scarlett, and cat named Tigger. They are relatively low maintenance, alerting me when it’s dinner time and walk time. I give them lots of attention and affection and they’re a very happy bunch.

About: Hi everyone! My name's Shirl and I am hoping to make your life a bit easier by taking away the stress of leaving your pup behind while you're away. I have been pet sitting for over 12 years; I used to have dogs come board with me while owners went away, but I've found that most owners prefer their pets to stay in the comfort of their own home. I have years of experience doing overnight pet sitting, but unfortunately my growing family (3 dogs and a cat of my own) no longer allows for me to stay away from home overnight. I am happy to provide multiple daily visits and/or walks! My goal is to keep your pet as comfortable as possible while you're away, by keeping their daily routine as close to "normal" as possible. I've cared for all types of pets including dogs, cats, bunnies, chicks, quail, lizards, fish, etc.! I am an experienced dog handler/ animal lover at heart. I worked at/managed a doggie day care/boarding facility for 4 years, learning from a very experienced trainer who focuses on positive reinforcement techniques ONLY. During my time there, I had opportunities to complete trainings to understand dog behaviors and body language. I have volunteered at BARCS as a dog walker/foster, working primarily with bully breeds. Why I love dog sitting I have been an animal lover my entire life. From playing with salamanders as a kid, to growing up with cats and dogs of all shapes and sizes; I've also had bunnies, fish, frogs, hermit crabs, hamsters, birds...the list goes on! I couldn't imagine a life without animals in it. My experience administering medication Yes. Working at a dog boarding facility for nearly 2 years I have had to give many forms of medications, and my personal pets also take oral medications. I am not trained to give injections. My full time job allows me to work from home majority of the week. That makes it easy for me to swing by for a visit at different times of the day. The latest drop in I can provide is 7pm. I am happy to provide updates as soon as I arrive, during the stay, and as I leave. For dog walks, I prefer not to introduce any dog that I’m handling to another dog passing by. This ensures everyone’s safety.

About: Animals have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. Growing up with dogs and cats, and now having two rescue dogs of my own, I just can't imagine life without them. I haven't used Rover before, but I've spent years watching friends' dogs and cats whenever they needed someone they could trust. I've raised puppies, cared for kittens, and even handled medications when needed, so I'm no stranger to what animals need to feel safe and loved. I come to your home so your babies can stay in their own space, in their own routine. Every animal is different and I take the time to get to know them. Big or small, they all get the same gentle, attentive care. I just genuinely love animals, and that's something you'll see the moment I meet your pet. I'm always happy to set up a meet-up before booking so we can connect, your pet can get comfortable with me, and we can make sure it feels like the right fit for everyone I recently graduated from Arcadia University with my Master's in Physician Assistant Studies. While I study for my boards and prepare to move back home to Washington, I have time on my hands and want to spend it doing something I truly enjoy. Right now my days are completely open, which means your dog gets my full attention. No rushing off, no squeezing them in between a busy schedule. I'm there as long as they need me. As the mom of two very needy rescue dogs, I completely understand wanting your babies to have someone around as much as possible, and right now, I'm in a position to give exactly that! Since I will be in your home, my first priority is to respect whatever routine and rules you have in place for your pet. I am happy to provide as much or as little entertainment, snuggles, or space as your fur baby needs. When it comes to walks, I'm no stranger to dogs that pull on the leash or get reactive around other dogs. I've handled strong, reactive animals before and I feel confident and calm managing them.

I had told her about the route the dogs were use to taking and she showed us the map of the route. The dogs were good for her out on the walk. When they got home they were well tired enough and curled up for a nap. I look forward to having Jenni come walk them again!”

About: I’ve been around dogs my whole life and grew up caring for my own family pup, so pet care has always come naturally to me. Over the past year, I also fostered two dogs myself through Human Animal Partners of Delaware—one energetic puppy and one sweet senior. The puppy gave me hands-on experience with basic training, routine building, and positive reinforcement, while the senior pup helped me gain confidence with gentle handling, slower-paced walks, and making sure medications and comfort needs were met. Both dogs were successfully adopted, and fostering taught me how to adapt to different personalities, build trust quickly, and create a safe, loving environment for any dog. I’m patient, reliable, and genuinely treat every pet like my own. This upcoming semester my class load is very light, which means I have plenty of free time throughout the day. I can be flexible with walks, drop-ins, and routines, and I’m happy to adjust to whatever your pet needs—whether that’s frequent potty breaks, longer walks, or extra cuddle time. When caring for pets my top priorities are safety, comfort, and consistency. I will always follow your pet’s normal routines as closely as possible so they feel secure, and I make sure they have plenty of supervision, especially during meals, walks, and playtime. I’m attentive to details like locked doors, secure leashes, and avoiding any unsafe foods or environments. I focus on creating a calm, positive atmosphere where pets can relax and feel at ease. I’m patient with shy or anxious animals, and I take the time to let them warm up at their own pace. Communication is also important to me, so you can expect updates and photos to give you peace of mind while you’re away. Your pet’s well-being is my priority, and I treat every animal with the same care and attention I’d want for my own.

About: I have been a consistent volunteer with multiple shelters and a pet sitter over the past 4 years taking care of animals of different backgrounds. I'm currently preparing to leave for college and have a lot of time to spend with your dogs throughout the summer (weekends and weekdays available)! I can provide leashes (slip lead and clip), doggy bags, and a travel water bowl (all if needed) in order to provide your dog with the best and safest experience possible.

I’m currently working a part time restaurant job that never ends later than 10:30 pm. So I will have plenty of time to take care of pets overnight and during the day.
