About: I have been a consistent volunteer with multiple shelters and a pet sitter over the past 4 years taking care of animals of different backgrounds. I'm currently preparing to leave for college and have a lot of time to spend with your dogs throughout the summer (weekends and weekdays available)! About: Hi everyone! My name's Shirl and I am hoping to make your life a bit easier by taking away the stress of leaving your pup behind while you're away. I have been pet sitting for over 12 years; I used to have dogs come board with me while owners went away, but I've found that most owners prefer their pets to stay in the comfort of their own home. I have years of experience doing overnight pet sitting, but unfortunately my growing family (3 dogs and a cat of my own) no longer allows for me to stay away from home overnight. I am happy to provide multiple daily visits and/or walks! My goal is to keep your pet as comfortable as possible while you're away, by keeping their daily routine as close to "normal" as possible. I've cared for all types of pets including dogs, cats, bunnies, chicks, quail, lizards, fish, etc.! I am an experienced dog handler/ animal lover at heart. I worked at/managed a doggie day care/boarding facility for 4 years, learning from a very experienced trainer who focuses on positive reinforcement techniques ONLY. During my time there, I had opportunities to complete trainings to understand dog behaviors and body language. I have volunteered at BARCS as a dog walker/foster, working primarily with bully breeds. Why I love dog sitting I have been an animal lover my entire life. From playing with salamanders as a kid, to growing up with cats and dogs of all shapes and sizes; I've also had bunnies, fish, frogs, hermit crabs, hamsters, birds...the list goes on! I couldn't imagine a life without animals in it. My experience administering medication Yes. Working at a dog boarding facility for nearly 2 years I have had to give many forms of medications, and my personal pets also take oral medications. I am not trained to give injections. My full time job allows me to work from home majority of the week. That makes it easy for me to swing by for a visit at different times of the day. The latest drop in I can provide is 7pm. I am happy to provide updates as soon as I arrive, during the stay, and as I leave. For dog walks, I prefer not to introduce any dog that I’m handling to another dog passing by. This ensures everyone’s safety.

About: I’ve helped train dogs and i work with camp bow wow working with dogs on the daily, i also went to a technical school working with all types of animals as well! i love giving enrichment time and getting to know all types of dogs I’m working part time so after work and days I don’t work i’m able to come and help, i can also make adjustments if needed I don’t usually do help from my home but I can come to others home to help out, I love to make every animal feel safe and comfortable

About: I’ve always been good with animals. My family has been raising dogs since I was a little kid and I really love all our pets. I work part time, usually in the afternoons/night. This would be something good for me to do during the day to keep working and staying busy. I have been walking my dogs and taking care of them since I was 9. I’ve always been responsible for cleaning up after them and keeping them safe. I’d do the same for any dog I’d walk or let out.

About: I've been taking care of my corgi, Muffin, for 10+ years since she was a puppy! About: I’ve loved and cared for pets my entire life. I began pet and house sitting in high school, and after college I regularly walked my neighbor’s dogs while she was at work. Most recently, I was lucky to share over 13 wonderful years with my own dog, Rue. As a senior, she needed daily medication for her health issues, giving me valuable experience with senior pet care and administering meds. Though Rue sadly passed from cancer in November, the joy she brought me inspires me to keep giving that same love and attention to other pets. I’d be honored to help you travel worry-free, just like trusted Rover sitters did for me and Rue in the past. I work weekdays but usually finish by 3 PM, so I’m available for afternoon potty breaks, walks, playtime, or cozy cuddle sessions or whatever your pet prefers! On weekends, my schedule is wide open, giving me plenty of time to provide companionship, exercise, and lots of attention. Pet care easily fits into my routine, and I love making sure your furry friend feels happy and loved while you’re away. I treat every pet and home as if they were my own, with love, respect, and attention to detail. I’m mindful of your privacy and space, always cleaning up after myself and keeping things tidy. I’ll strictly follow your pet’s feeding schedule, walking routine, medication needs, or any special instructions to help them feel secure and happy while you’re away. During house sits, I also bring in mail, water plants if needed, and ensure your home stays safe and welcoming for your return.

About: I’ve spent my entire life living with cats and caring for them. I also spent last year living with a service dog in training and caring for him I currently have an internship at UD throughout the summer. I am available both before work and after work to care for pets. I can provide walking, feeding, playing, and just company for animals. I I will give your pets my full attention, spend time with them, and care for them however they may need. I will make sure the pets are in fantastic care.
