The first thing we do when taking care of our own pets, or others pets, is let them out to go to the bathroom. Next, we prioritize feeding and medicating (if necessary) and cleaning and refilling all water bowls. Once everything important is taken care of, we then spend quality time with them, whether it’s playing fetch, cuddling or going for a walk. Before we leave, we make sure we let them back outside for a good while to make sure they take care of all of their business.

About: I have grown up in a house that always had 2-3 dogs living in it. I was exposed to different breeds from the most mixed supermutt to a purebred King Charles Cocker Spaniel. About 12 years ago I began pet-sitting for my in-laws who have two dogs (now 15 and 2) and two cats. They love the care I provide their animals and am their go-to pet sitter.
